Clean park.Roy West Park is home to the annual Roy Days celebration, as well as the Movie in the Park nights during the summer. It has 27.47 acres and is comprised of the following facilities: three softball/ baseball fields with lights and scoreboards, concession stands, two lacrosse fields, two soccer fields, restrooms, concession stand and walking track. The North end of the park has two small pavilions, one sand volleyball pit, Skateboard Park and playground. Park Hours Year Round are 6am-11pm.

So long as you stay away from the north end of the park this place is great. Once you get to the skate park it starts getting trashed. What a surprise. Cant hold the city accountable for what undisciplined teenagers do. Other wise I love this place.

Fields are not all locked up . Families out enjoying the weather & the Park.

The area is great especially for summer activities, but the playground area needs a major renovation. Get rid of the tennis courts that are ALWAYS locked up, fix up the basketball courts, and update the playground. Parks all over the area are updating their equipment and Id rather drive a few more minutes to let my son play on something nicer and with equipment that lets him use his imagination more.This park is surrounded by tons of housing and I think a lot more people would visit the playground if it were updated.

Nice park. I use it on long bike rides on the adjacent trail. I appreciate the flush toilets and availability of water.

Love it. Well kept and not busy in the morning.The only problem is the skate park kids throwing their trash all over. The Roy City workers are over there every morning cleaning it up.

Nice park with playground and picnic tables. Its a good place for the kids. Lots of space for youth soccer and baseball.

One time I almost got set on fire here but overall a very nice place! very good yard care and a nice trail for running

Great place to play sports. Offers 4 softball fields and 2 soccer fields. Can be set up for football also. I also see plenty of people playing football style frisbee here. There is also a playground, tennis courts, basketball courts and a skate park that is quite popular. Awesome park overall for whatever

Great park! Probably one of the best parks in the area, there is a lot of space to anything you would want as an activity (Soccer fields, baseball diamond, skate park, jog track) you name it they have space to do it here. The only downsides here is it has a lot of sports played here from leagues so plan accordingly. The seating like picnic tables is also not large so if youre planning an event I would make sure to reserve or get there early.

The skatepark is fun but always busy. There is plenty of fields to play ball in,(and baseball dimonds). There is one park for the kids

Its a very open park not much shade outside of the picnic awnings. It leaves a lot to be desired as far as a play ground is concerned. Id look for other options as far as places to take my kids somewhere to play. Their softball fields are decent the upper fields pitchers mount faces the sun directly in the evening so pitching is a gamble with your life at sunset.

Went to Roy Days. It was a great time. I guess there were a few fights and a call-in warning to the police department that there was gunna be a drive-by shooting. But we had a great time with petting zoo, pony rides, rock climbing wall, bounce houses, and fireworks. Thanks for putting the event on Roy City. Also, thanks to the cops who kept the madhouse at bay... Although one of the cops singled out a Hispanic teen and it was a pretty plain case of profiling. But itd be a hard job so I give them overall applause.

They have a great selection of home decor and many ideas for crafts.

A very nice place with even better burgers

Me and my wife love bringing the kids out here. What a great park, they do all kinds of community events.

Not a bad place. Its pretty open and has a small playground for kids, places to sit, and enough trees for shade. If you have a dog or child you want to take outdoors this isnt the worst choice.

Nice softball facility, needs more parking. There is a skate park down the street with an overflow parking lot, but with the number of softball fields there are, they could use more convenient parking.

Excellent Park! It has multiple baseball fields, tennis courts, skateboarding area, fields for soccer or field hockey and more!

The FIREWORKS were great. I hope the people who were hurt from the fireworks because of the wind will be ok. Weather is a tricky thing to have to work around.

This park gets very busy! It is nice to see so many people staying active and involved with recreational sports and skating. Went last Saturday for a baseball game and was very surprised by the turnout from Roy and West Haven. Awesome group if parents supporting their kids who play. Even though it was crowded everyone was very friendly. Cant much better for a public park these days. Parking is the only issue, in that you may have to park down the block but I dont consider that a downside because we all should walk more.

The skatepark is not safe for skateboarding. The transitions are dangerously lumpy. There are large cracks at the tops and bottoms of the transitions. You can tell this park was built years ago by people who dont skateboard. Its not in need of repair, its in need of replacement.

Its a small park. The baby swing set leg holes are a bit small. My 1 year old couldnt fit. The bathrooms were locked mid day. Extremely shaded area so great for summer but not so much for winter.

Its a great park, little to no garbage

Quite a nice park. Its big lots of space and things to do has a playground and fields and a skate park. I would say it is one of the better ones. There is also a trail above it that goes for miles. It is not the nicest one out there but its been there a while. Lots of events get held there.

Great park. Very well maintained. Always plenty of room for everybody. There is stuff all the way from a little kids playground to adult baseball fields. They have tennis and basketball at this park as well. There is also a skate park in the middle for people who are into that

I love this park! The trails throughout it and connected to it in the back are beautiful. There are several baseball fields that are great to watch games at because the have bleachers and hills. There is a large field for soccer. I have used the pavillion to eat at. They have a skate park there that is a good group of people just out for fun not to get into trouble. Its in a nice neighborhood and it. Has plenty of room for everyone even during the roy days firework show

Wide open park thats great for our dogs to run about (just dont let animal control catch you without your dogs on leashes lol).

Its a beautiful park and is always an enjoyable day there for the kids. Nicely maintained by Roy city. Kids love it!

Its a great place to chill out. Going on walks, hanging out with friends, or just have alone time to clear your mind. Its usually not too busy if their arent games going on. Its a good place to hang out.

Good walking trail and decent play fields. Has better grass than most of the other parks in Roy. Has a skate park which doesnt always draw the best crowd and they leave a lot of litter. Looking forward to the few trees in the park maturing more for more shade.

Roy West Park is a keeper! Large walking and biking tracks. Skate park, soccer and a play ground for the kids. Safe and easily located.

Fun and has a nice variety of things for the kids to do... We especially like the skate park, we ride there almost daily as a family and ride our bikes up and around all the jumps and curbs... its a great time..

Nice park thats close to the walking path. All dogs must be on a leash, but there is plenty of open space to explore with them.

Great playground. Bathrooms are always clean. The walking path is very nice and connects to the rail trail through Roy.

Its small and there is not much to do. But their is a great place for a walk. There is a trail that circles the place. There are plenty of trees for a picnic too.

MEH, and thats being nice. The soccer pitches and grass areas are terribly maintained and players are always turning ankles on the uneven surface. The play area is boring to any kid over 3. NOT a great park

Watched the Roy Day Fireworks. 5he show and music was good but parking was a bear.

Limited parking. Litter all around the skate park and lacross field. Suspicious cars parked at late hours on some days. Picnic tables are a popular hangout and drinking spot for kids on Saturday nights.

This is a great place to have family outings they have a playground. A place to play baseball or kickball or whatever theres restrooms and a place to sit and have a picnic.
