A park that all ages can enjoy! The playground is designed in sections from toddlers to preteen. The splash pad is only 20 feet from the playground for easy access to go back and forth. There are basketball and tennis courts, two baseball fields, and enough open field for both soccer, ultimate Frisbee, and a family picnic with room to spare! Lastly whether you enjoy walking, jogging, or a gentle bike ride there is a sidewalk that goes around the entire area. Definitely a place to bring the family and make some memories!

It is a super cute park. They do have a splash pad. It is closed right now. The park has swings for all ages. The park has lots of areas on the play ground to go. They have lots of slides. It is pretty well maintained. It is probably not the best park for a 1 year old. It is meant for probably 3+ year old.

I love that a covered pavilion is right next to the splash pad! Very clean and well maintained. I did climb up to one of the slides and the shade covers on top help a lot. I did see hornets up there but they didn’t cause any problems for the kids.

Such a fun spot for families! The playground is huge, and there is a splash pad as well. Not a lot of shade, but the splash pad is a great break from the heat! Definitely dont forget sunscreen. All of the little ones we were with had a blast!

Love that the splash pad is open at 9am and even works on Sundays.

Beautiful park and will definitely go again but it is geared for older kids 5+, not really for your young toddler 1-3.

The park is nice looking, it would be great for kids, who are playground age!! My only concern/problem is the teens that hang there. They were rude, yelling obscene words, and once they went to get on the playground equipment it was time to leave. Unfortunately, I think well go to other parks.

Fun, age-appropriate for all ages, not crowded, safe distance from the street, open grass to play in, tables and shade, seating, engaging toys and structures, comfortable wood chips, splash pad and playground, and bathrooms nearby. I love it!

This is a nice well kept park. The amenities are clean and safe. There is a walking path for parents and a playground for kids.

Very pleasant park! Nice tennis courts, great bowery, amazing playground for the little ones! Would be nice if there were a bit more landscaping but all in all I enjoyed being here.

Amazing park. Lots of fun fun stuff, but there are no drinking fountains to be found anywhere. Public parks should have drinking water available, so minus one star.

Great park. They have two separate playgrounds right next to each other, one for littler kids and one for bigger kids. The splash pad is small but fun for the kids, the bathroom is maintained and the pavilion is a great size. One of the only downfalls of this park is that because its fairly new, it doesnt have mature trees so theres very little shade here. Excellent park

Its designed for children from toddler thru elementary age. Taller kids/grown-ups, watch your head lol The park is new, doesnt have trees around for shade, however they put shade cloth above several of the equipment so it doesnt get too hot.

Big, lots of toys, and a splash pad! There’s also pavilions, a lot of grass, some tennis courts and quite a bit of parking.Giving only 4 stars because of Roy City’s reservation system. You share an 8 hour block with anyone else who booked the pavilion so I’m not sure how fair that is?! They should reserve in time blocks such as 2 hours and you can reserve what you will need. This way there will not be any overlap.

Amazing park for all ages!

Lots to do, areas of play equipment good for wheel chairs, great theme, picnic areas, splash pad in Summer.

They have some great toys for the kids to plan on. Lots of great things for them to explore. Playgrounds for kids of varying ages and abilities. The splash pad is a bonus for the hot summer months. Lots of grass for running and playing. Could use a couple more pavilions and shade trees. Overall a great park.

Love this park, it does get hot during the day though. But if you go in the morning or in the evening there are a lot of toys to play on for kids of different ages. They also have a small splash pad in the summer.

Awesome park! Has multiple playgrounds for different age groups, a splash pad, and very nice safe comfy swings with and without the full safety harness seats made of all plastic or rubbery foam so they are much more comfortable as well as safe. Soccer fields, Tennis and basketball courts are also at the park.

Very dynamic for kids from toddlers, to kids to young teens. And the splash pad is wonderful!

Park is nice and a good size for the kids to play. The splash pad on the other hand was not the greatest. The water doesnt go at the same time, and the water that is supposed to spray up out of the ground doesnt spray very high. Kids still had fun, but doesnt most of the time out of the water.

Its a new structured park with a slightly different feel to it. There is a slide that is like an Air Force jet... Another side that has 2 levels to it, be swings and some sort of cool jungle gym. The kids just love it here... Oh and now there is a free splash pad too!!

Great place for the whole family a large Bowery that can be reserved. A large play area for the kiddos and a small splash pad to cool off. As well as set up for baseball pickle ball tennis and basketball.

This park has several places to play and places to sit. It has artificial shade and the splash pad is great for the summer time. The bathrooms need to have hand soap and a hand dryer or paper towels.

This is the perfect place for a party. Shaded, plenty of room for a big group, splash pad and super fun playgrounds just feet away. There were plenty of power outlets! We will plan parties here again!!!

This park had so many great things for kids to do and play on. It definitely appeals to a wide range of ages.

This is a New park. It has a small splash pad which opens for the first time this year. Roy City did a nice job on the facilities. The pavilion has plenty of tables close to the playground. There is plenty of open grass area for playing and the park is pet friendly. There are tennis courts and ball fields. Plus the Library is within walking distance. The City just hosted its first Easter Egg Hunt here and it was a GREAT SUCCESS!!! This will be a fun place to spend the coming summer days with the whole family.

Really fun park with lots of variety. I couldnt see a water fountain, so being your own water to drink. They did have bathrooms but no soap. Splash pad runs from Memorial day thru Labor Day.

I cant wait to see it finished. Its rare that I can find a place my 2 and 5 year old can both enjoy. This is it!

We loved the park, the splash pad and playground was in good repair and clean. I took a star off for the fact that our family had reserved the Bowery for a party, but the city would not put up official Roy City reserved signs so we had constant people coming in and using it as well in the middle of our family and friends.

A super fun park! My boys (ages 3, 6, and 9) all loved it. A great variety of play structures, a splash pad and lots of green grass.

Great playground for the kids. Tho there were a couple persistent parent-less kids vying for food from anyone who had any. This was a little annoying since I didnt bring enough in my picnic to feed the neighborhood. Forewarning: bring plenty of extra or be prepared to hover.

Its new and fully loaded with a bunch of fun features. Definitely more older kid friendly than not though, and its often crowded but when the splash pad there opens up for the summer itll be worth the heat to visit.

Dont waste your time with the splash pad. They only turn on 1 or 2 water features at a time to save water, if you wanna save water, dont build a splash pad!

We love bringing our daughter here. The splash pad is super fun and the amount of different things she can climb on is next level. The playground is amazing.

I grew up in Roy and it was great to see what they good with this park. I really appreciated the tribute to soldiers and Mr. Wahlen.

We walk by. It seems to be used regularly. The splash pad looks fun.

There was a baseball game there. And there were also food and snacks, which were good. There is also a park right next to it.

This is a nice big Park. There is tons of room to do anything that youd want. Its also got a big parking lot and a Bowery with lots of tables so you could have a lot of people there for a barbecue or them birthday party. Definitely enough room for as many kids as youre going to have at the party

I am completely heart broken over what the city has done to this park in agreeing to sell part of it to be turned into a parking lot. They removed a memorial for a honoured world war 2 veteran that the park was named for to make this parking lot that is never even a quarter full. A complete waste of funds and a true destruction of history with these actions

Sad they torn down many trees and the play area but the park is my home park. I loved a block away growing up. Love the walking run they have.
