When we got there, there were no lights on in theatre so we had to tell them to turn them on. Then the volume was so low we had to tell them to turn the volume up twice. It was rediculous

Small theaters. Not a fan. Sometimes the floors are dirty and trash is littering the theater. On one occasion the sound wasn’t synced correctly and it was never resolved even after complaints.

Its just okay. It would be nice if they could undate sounds system. Its feel like you are stuck in the 80s in the building.

If it had the option to give no stars you had better believe that’s what they would get from me! Me and my wife just got done watching a movie here. The picture would flicker in and out and at times you could barely see anything. Not even halfway through the movie, She started itching. She’s now covered in tiny little bites from bedbugs. It’s so gross. Now we have to go home and shower to make sure that we don’t take home something that Ajax can’t wash off. We won’t be back!

My best friend and I love to visit whenever they have a movie playing that we want to see. Its always clean and we feel safe and comfortable.

This theater is so old and hasn’t been touched since it first opened as Litchfield Cinemas back in the ‘80s. We came on a Wednesday for a matinee, and the movie didn’t start on time and the picture was crooked. I probably won’t be back again, I’ll just go to Mt. Berry which is a much nicer theater and updated.

Movie was awesome, popcorn and drinks cost way too much, and the entire movie we had to listen to crickets. Was sJust glad it was an action movie, because the shooting and bombs going off, made the crikets be quite for a few minutes each time...

I enjoyed everything about my stay at the cinemas

Overall experience was good. But, having adults sitting behind me the.entire time on their cell phone and continuously talking to one another disrupted an excellent movie. I guess Ill watch it on cable again. Id like to hear suggestions how to make people shut up and quit being rude.

My wife & i watching Downton Abbey, the screen was so dark we could hardly see faces or any detail. As though watching everything as a night scene. No or very little AC, was hot & humid. Manager said it’s an old movie, made that way. That’s a lie. Queen arrival to Downton is a new movie. Manager admitted dark movie, claim it was old & could do nothing, nor give us AC is ridiculous & false. We stay 15 minutes & they refused to refund. Cheap place, sorry quality & dishonest. H&J

Me and my friend went to see a show here. The volume was very low. So I asked this guy in the foyer if he could possibly turn it up a little. This guy walks into the theater shakes his head and walks out. He looked like mario and I can only assume he was some sort of fake rent a security guard or something. I asked if I could speak to a manager after it was over and the entire crowd only heard half the movie . He said no, youll have to call tomorrow. Still I gave this place a second chance. And wouldnt u know it. There was a bright light shining right in my face. This out of shape fat mario would not turn it off or down for me even though I asked and said please sir, though he was hardly a sir. Do yourself a favor. Choose a different theater. Please. Lets boycott this horrible management until they get better staff.

Ive been there in the past and had a pleasant experience. The theater was clean and the seats were ok . The staff is friendly the food was ok . It wasnt overly expensive. Id return soon.

Rome Cinemas is an alright theater. I wish they were a part of a larger chain so I could purchase tickets on Fandango. The place needs a few improvements though. The mens bathroom isnt in good condition. Some of the locks on the doors are broken. The bathroom just doesnt feel that well maintained overall. The rest of the theater is pretty clean though. A couple of times Ive been there some of the seats Ive sat in havent felt right but moving to a different seat usually helps. Other than that the theater is pretty good and brings in a good crowd.

Web site says the movie starts at 12:30.on a Friday afternoon. Ive been standing here since 12:15 and nobody is here. Its now 12:40 and its completely dark in the theater lobby, so its not just someone got busy and lost track of the time. Unacceptable way to run a business. You lost this customer for ever.

Good variety, plenty of seating, and varied show times. Easy to locate with plenty of parking. Overall an enjoyable theater experience.

Everyone is usually nice. Except I had one experience with a girl at the concession stand. Wasn’t very friendly about upgrading my drink to bottled water. I asked if I could pay the difference. I love the Groupon and I use it quite often. Great deal.

We went to see Toy Story 4 with. By far worst theater experience weve ever encountered. First, we were directed to the theater, which said Toy Story 4, sat and watched a god awful amount of commercials. Finally movie starts, and it was the wrong move, so everyone in the theater were told we had to move to another theater where it was playing. We get there, and it already started, so we watched for 5 minutes, then was told they were restarting it. So we had to wait, and watch what we watched, twice, Then, the last 10 minutes of it, the ads started playing through the movie, so you couldnt see the movie, and all we got was a sorry. Never going back, ever. Go to Berry theater. And popcorn sucked.

This place smells oldddd. From the decorrr... scratch decor, insert obvious need for urgent repair, or closing eminent - possibly during the movie youre about to watch.Seriously, its old, could use some makeup, but its not that bad...its just old, and thats not a bad thing.Polite people, comfortable seating, and really enjoyed the movie.

Great theater, concession aren’t too expensive, great seating, and lots of parking. Bathrooms could use some reworking but that’s really it.

I was here with my niece for a school function, everyone was courteous. All the times I have been here, the theaters are always clean. Never have I walked through something sticky. The seats are comfortable also.

Not what your typical theater is. It is not well taken care of but the movies food and drinks were amazing.

Move prices are less than other movie theaters near by, but it is an older theater and could use cosmetic touch. There is stadium seating and good sound system. Would have given 3 1/2 stars if I could.

Went to see Black Panther. This theater needs a new upgrade. I know when it was Linchfield and then became Rome Cinemas they did an upgrade.... well its time for another one. To watch a movie...its cool. Never got gum on my seat so thats a good thing.

Friendly employees, great movie selections

A overall very poor business. The building itself is in complete disrepair. Ceiling tiles falling out, projectors going in and out of working during the film, water leaking from the ceiling onto people heads. Very poor condition. If I could I would give it 0/5 stars.

Not a fan of going to movies. It ok but like most the snacks and drinks are outrageous.

Took the grandkids this past Tuesday they had a table set up for the kids to paint a looking glass (mirror) plus other nice trinkets the KIDS LOVED. The lady said they does this periodically and info is on website. I was very impressed

They need to upgrade. Popcorn taste old and greasy even if just popped. Some theatre seats smells and not comfortable to sit in.

Staff is fairly friendly but usually all predominantly black movies are all at Rome Theaters not the most recently built The Movies at Berry Square...sometimes Tyler Perry movies are at both places and thats usually the only one. Do I smell systematic racism? (Its been this way for years) . Most recently Meet the Blacks and Barbershop: The Next Cut

Nice experience. Really needs updated and maintaining. Staff was really nice but they expressed the plumbing had problems and their was a problem with smells in the drains of the bathrooms, so they needed to spray constantly. As expensive as everything was I would think they could afford to make upgrades or atleast maintain.

Would be a help if both cash registers took a credit card at the concession.

Clean but very expensive unless you go to a matinee evening show.

Worst experience at a movie theater Ive ever encountered. A few of my friends and I went there to watch Wrestlemania and the connection cut out and stayed out for a very long time. Instead of trying to fix it, they just continued to say tickets are unrefundable and continued to walk to the back ignoring their customers. I was already skeptical about this theater but Ill DEFINITELY never go back and I highly recommend that no one else does. Hopefully Mount Berry starts airing wrestling events because Rome Cinemas is TRASH!

I love this little theater. Ive been going here since I was a little kid.

Its our preferred theatre in Rome. Seats are more comfortable, and theres usually fewer kids there than there is at MB.

RUDE staff!! horrible seats, small screens, volume so low you have to ask repeatedly to turn it up and even when they “do” ? It’s a inch of turn up. This is not a chain like Regal or AMC and it definitely shows!!! Redneck movie theater!

Needs updating, but very nice staff and always has the latest movies on premier night.

It is an older theater, but it is clean and they are friendly and helpful. That matters to me.
