One of the best places to see movies in Rome. The sound and visuals are pretty good.

It was fairly clean, prices were kinda high for the movie and especially for the food. I know they make most of their money from food but they are expensive. Other than that a pleasant experience.

I love this place because everyone is very nice. I always go with my kids and nephews to a total of 10 kids. They dont rush me and have a lot of patience. The kids love it.

The service great, prices are fair but the place could use a little updating. If you want to see a movie and grab a bite at the nearby Mount Berry Square Mall its convenient and serves its purpose.

Please forgive the rating. Id give a 5- but they need to update the theater and the projectors for all the new format movies that will be coming out. I love the theaters that have the premiere balcony seating, hi-res viewing, tru-3D, dining vouchers during the show, etc. And Id be more than willing to pay the $27 ticket price Ive seen at other theaters for these reserved seats.

Friendly staff and comfortable seats. Clean facilities and theatres. Conveniently located by a shopping mall and restaurants for a good day out.

Who doesnt like going to the movies? It is a fun experience, however I generally just order the movie at home.

I usually am satisfied but had never seen a movie on the right side of the hall. Did not like the seating at all

The man at the counter with the blue eyes/contacts was very dismissive and rude. It made us not even want to order snacks. We ignored it and wanted to enjoy our movie. We get into the theatre and the entire room smelled musty, and I was itching the entire movie. Possible mold issue? Absolutely disgusting. Will not be back.

First visit! Leather Recliners! Clean lobby, 3D Digital and Standard 2D. Exterior is standard brick and mortar. Guest experience is below average if compared to national multi-entertainment platforms for the same price but 100% 2 thumbs up with customer service. Employees are very nice at both box office & Concessions. (Over 1000 theatres visited) I would only like to see more recliners in 2D auditoriums. Also, one more entertainment platform (as budgets allow) This theatre ranks with me & these upgrades are coming to a theatre near you.Overall, give them a visit. Rome is a charming town it seems, when they want to be.Honest assessment of Village Theatres inc.

Saw Pets 2 and laughed til I snorted! Excellent movie theater! Clean and the people are so nice! I’m glad it was an afternoon show...for three it was near $40. No cokes or popcorn!! 3-D.

Movie was good, but why does a small cup of WATER cost $5.00?? Thats almost what it cost to even see the movie & we had to shift our seats twice because the seat itself was broken and practically throwing us in the floor.

Its not kept up very dirty.

I watched Captain Marvel and the movie was great. I didnt think it was going to be that good. It ties in well for the upcoming avengers, End Game. It tells the story of nick fury and how he lost his eye and how the avengers started. I recommend going to see Captain Marvel

The movie theater was phenomenal!!! The staff were very friendly and were incredibly patient, and insured that my experience was pleasant! The establishment was also very clean, and I was pleasantly surprised to see the bathrooms upkept despite the traffic in and out! In addition, staff was prompt and were on the scene ready to clean the moment the movie was over, and went beyond the call of service as they silently left to allow stragglers to not feel pressured to leave!! I was astonished at the level of courtesy and respect staff showed the party I was with and how friendly they were throughout our entire visit! I am seriously going to look into making it a habit to travel to Berry Square!!P.S. Movies at Berry Square needs a more solid online hub. I would love to buy my tickets online. (And it wouldnt hurt to inform folks of the small fee for using cards vs. cash or average out the price and do away with the fee all together. Just a suggestion there to make an awesome theater even better!)

Good but over priced food and drinks. Ridiculous what they charge.

The lay flat seats are pretty comfy, but makes drinking my beverage difficult. They should offer bendy straws or just bring your own. No one wants a shirt full of fizzy drink. Not busy, but thats a good thing.Would be easy 5 star if they gave bendy straws.

Went to see a movie during a weekday late at night. One of a handful of people in the theater so that was nice. The popcorn tasted stale but at least it was cheap compared to other theaters so it wasnt a big loss. The sound and picture was good. The seating was a little smelly so I would definitely try out the newer reclining seats theyve added if I go again. The guys working the front counter were nice and helpful.

Screens are poor quality (especially compared to the newer theatres close by). Concessions of course are outrageously priced and even that is a slow process. Id recommend traveling to a theatre out of town if you really want to enjoy a good movie experience.

Its been awhile since Ive gone to the movies. But I must say I truly enjoy the movies.

Home cinema with b&w speakers sounds way better, unfortunately. No bass whatsoever.

I like the atmosphere and the crew members were very nice!

The local favorite, being a few minutes down the road is a big plus but good selection always and who doesnt love movie theater popcorn.

Jumanji 2, it was great, all except for the cursing, definitely rated PG 13

The theater is pretty nice. the reclining seats are very comfortable, and the prices are about what youd expect. vouchers and the like, however, cannot be used in the reclining theater which I did not find out until my boyfriend and I and our friends got there to see black panther. black panther was shown exclusively in the reclining theater.

Love that you can uy your tickets early and it is not always packed like most movie theaters. The food is good but very pricey. It also depends on what movie you are going to see. I have seen one movie have three rooms because of the popularity of the movie. The price does change as well. It depends on what time you go to see the movie.

We were very pleased with all aspects of the theater. Clean lobby and bathroom. Theater seats were comfortable and the sound was great.We watched the Last Jedi. This movie theater has a special on Tuesdays for ALL tickets are 6.50$ ALL day.It made going to the movies a little nicer.

I absolutely hate that we have two theaters in this town, both owned by the same people and both equally and abhorrently out of date. Can we please have someone invest in a modern theater? Even their website is still holding on to an early 90’s structure. But hey, thanks for the recliners. A desperate attempt to keep people from driving to Cartersville for a better theater experience.

Theater smelled like mildew. Over half of the armrests were off the seats and the seats themselves were nasty. The popcorn was stale. The restrooms need work. Most of the staff need people skills training with an adult to manage! Will not be back. Its worth driving to an AMC theater.

This theater needs some serious upgrades. It is lagging. This theater gets plenty of business so theres no reason for it to be so gloomy. Outdated. Dirty. One of the theater rooms smells incredibly musty, 2 of the seats were roped off with yellow caution tape, ceiling tiles dropping- I couldnt believe they were actually showing movies in there and felt like I should request a refund. Hey owner, put some money into this place!

I have to use a wheelchair. The handicapped bathroom was being used, so I had to use a regular stall. I was able to get in there but getting out was the huge issue. The lock on the door was broken but someone installed one of those slide locks that had to be screwed into the door. That makeshift lock was stuck and I couldn’t get out of the stall. I had to get down onto the floor and go into another stall to get out. It was a humiliating and disgusting experience. When I told the manager, he and his coworker found it to be quite entertaining. They actually laughed in my face. I was very embarrassed. Another woman had witnessed this and was upset about them laughing as well. I really hope no one else gets embarrassed like that from these people.

Its okay as far as movie theaters go. The reclining seats are nice but there arent many of them. They show most of the big movies that come out. There have been several that they didnt show that I would like to have seen here. Its kind of an old theater. Nothing exciting.

Awesome prices (really cheap), has great movie selections, great for kids, all around great place!

Love our weekly Tuesday movies with our movie bucket for popcorn, normally never have any problems. Decent sound and screen quality.

Definitely could use a complete renovation. Staff are young, and at times unhelpful.

This theatre is in such a state of disrepair. It desperately needs to be taken over by an AMC or other large company. The concession turned ticket booth took 25 minutes to get through. The screen has obviously imperfections that have been there for years. The bathrooms havent been updated since it was built and there was an active leak. The prices are higher than nearly cities and if ever there was a new movie theatre to open this one would be bankrupt within a year.

Wonderful theater for s smaller town.

It seemed like the image on the screen was not very bright compared to most theaters. There were tears in middle of the screen that were very distracting. The experience was ok, I just wish there were better theaters nearby.

Cinema 5 screen had a large tear that had been repaired but was VERY visible on the screen.

Its a good place to watch movies with your family. The price just a little to high for my taste is all.

For what you do here, and as expensive as it is to go to the movies, go ahead and dumb an extra 15 or 20 bucks into your gas and go else where. Unless you have to walk or cant afford to go, this place is really just in a good location. Thats it

Just an okay theater. The seats are lined up evenly behind each other instead of staggered. The seating is not very elevated from row to row either. I’m 5’4” and had to change seats to avoid having another lady’s head blocking the screen.

I guess it because they never seen me there before, but the crew was so unfriendly. They sold me a bad icee. When I went to return it they acted like I wanted 2 for the price of one. Smh. They told me the theater was not ready only after walking all the way there because as I asked questions I only got short answers. Like where is the man to take tickets? Where do we go in at? Both questions was answered with blank looks then a over there, from one crew member. The theater was not clean. The movie was wonderful, and I loved the recliners.

Movie theater is a little run down for the prices charged

I was highly disappointed today with my experience at the movies. Not only was the theater extremely dirty with trash and popcorn, but the bathrooms were deplorable as well.We were looking forward to our movie, but during the show, children were talking loudly and disturbing everyone the entire time.I actually got up during the show to try and locate management, but no one was even around to ask where the manager was.Needless to say, I will not be choosing this theater in the future.

I have been going here my entire life and let me say mount berry is really dirty and some of the theaters smell like mold and mildew the seats are stinky and sticky the roof drags and is sainted wit water damage the food isnt super bad but then again i cover the pop corn in salt and i have been eating it my whole life so i might of just gotten used to it and one of the thing i didnt see a lot in the reviews is how cheap the cups are the bottom of the cups sag after like 30 minuets i have never had one burst on me but i always fear it might and in the summers it is so hot and vice versa for winter i love this place i have made tons of memories here but it is really gross how this place is one of the two movie theaters here in Rome my family has started to go AMC and other places because they have other movies better screens better everything (but the food is pricey) we took my cousin to AMC we saw upgraded just me and him alone and when the ads ended and the screen widened he turned to me and said i cant go back to Rome and he was in the same boat as me and only been here his entire life i love this place and it is our go to movie theater but it is gross, smelly, sticky, and way too old if you ever come to Rome do try it and if you like it that is great but i agree this place is just way to out of date and needs to be fixed

Received 12 movie passes for Christmas. I would not recommend buying these for anybody due to the fact that theres so many restrictions on them they are hard to use and your movie choices are limited. Prices are high in the concession stand is very expensive.

I was extremely disappointed, the employees were very nice but the entire building smelled so bad. It smelled like an old locker room, and needs remodeling on the inside. It looks/ feels old, dingy and ugh the smell! The outside doesnt look bad that is why I was so disappointed about the inside. Rome is such a beautiful town and to have a theater like this is ridiculous. Take the time to update and remodel the inside please!!

Good theater that I would recommend. It is getting near time for a little bit of a face lift. But not anything at the present time that will prevent me from going. There was only one thing I didnt understand or like about my last visit. I seen the late show, started at 9 pm and ended around 11-11:15 pm. About halfway thru while taking my son for a restroom break we stopped at concessions before returning to discover that even with an employee behind the counter, the concessions stand was closed. We still had at least 45 mins left. Kinda lowers the value of that free refills if you by a jumbo drink or popcorn...

Will not return. A new cashier overcharged for popcorn. Tried to speak with Jody and she was unwilling to help and told me it was ok with her that I dont return to the theater. TERRIBLE!

One of the best places to go to see movies and the comfortable place to be

This theatre was disgusting. Whole place smelled like mildew, dirty, sticky and even the chairs felt damp. The wall coverings in the theatre were peeling, pieces of the ceiling hanging down. Got a large popcorn and threw it away — think the “butter” was rancid. We are here visiting family, thought this would be a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. It was GROSS. Should’ve asked for our money back and left.

They are listed as an AMC theatre but are not, so dont honor 5$ Tuesday. Seats are ok but an odd odor in to be building. Next time Ill go to Cartersville.

The seats are very comfortable! They recline a little and have retractable arms. The drinks and food is standard movie theater over-price. This is a pretty decent place to come watch movies.

The premium seating is worth every penny. Electric recliners are unbeatable.

Good movie selection but do not expect to see a movie in the newly renovated rooms if you are going to a matinee.
