Such a great park. Plenty of things to do for kids of all ages. Off-street parking or street parking. Close to the walking path for easy access if you want to walk along the lake. Only 1 covered pavilion, but its well kept and great for a picnic or birthday party.

We had fun because we were together as a family and we were lucky to have the park to ourselves. We loved the place without a doubt, it is a nice space and we will come back, but... the reason I am not giving the park 5 stars is because it needs a lot of maintenance. I dont know if the state of the place is due to the harsh winter, but many of the things on the playground are needing to be replaced or at least a coat of paint. I hope someone reads this and helps to preserve such an important part if the city. Rochester has beautiful parks and this place is one of them. I am attaching pictures for you to see. Have a blessed day

Safe and fun park. Great place to take grandchildren, nice bench swings for adults; placed close to play area.

Good luck with any social distancing here. Parents dont even seem to care about where or what their kids are doing. The park tho is a great way for kids to get some energy out. Just beware of where your kids end up, under the bridge isnt a very welcoming place.

This park is handicap accessible. There are usually children here and everyone plays together. It is a great place to wear out active children. It has an imaginative play area, preschool play area and big kid area. It is not unusual to see elementary school age children, teenagers and adults playing tag together. There are many places to sit including benches, 2 person swings and picnic tables. There are well maintained bathrooms and multiple drinking fountains available as well as an accurate and cool sundial!

Some questionable people coming out of trees here. Also one guy was asleep on the sidewalk by the bathrooms. I stayed pretty close to the kids and kept a close eye on those tree people at this park.

I remember when this park was new but now it is sadly unkempt by the rec and park department. Many broken toys and rotten wood, which poses safety hazards, and weeds growing rampant throughout the play area. This would be a great if the city of Rochester would put some money back into it.

Great place to bring kiddos!! Make sure to pack a small bottle of soap and a roll of toilet paper just in case, as well as something cool to drink. Out kids usually find other children here to play along with. Decent seating areas for parents. Lots of parking available. Park is across the street from Silver Lake Park.

This park was built right at the end of my childhood and was/is a blast; its fun going back with my daughter. Even though its right next to 2 busy roads it has large grassy areas to act as buffers. Another feature that is nice is the covered eating area with restrooms. The park could use some cosmetic repairs but still a fun, huge park.

Probably the best playground Ive ever seen! If youre lucky enough to live within walking distance, your kids will probably live here during the summer months. Its right next to Silver Lake, which is a plus. And you can walk there from downtown in about 10-15 minutes.

A great place for kids to hang out and good around. Sometimes an ice cream truck stops by.

Pa
Review №76

Its one of the biggest parks in town but the layout creates blind spots for tracking multiple children of different age groups. Many of the original wooden structures are showing their age and use now. The park is still our go-to park for getting the kids running and tired but for the above reasons I can only give it three stars.
