This place has a beautiful scenic view of the falls and the bridge. It also has a nice walk path with a wonderful work of art at the base. This place offers quite comfort and busy City living.

Absolutely love the falls. Great place for salmon fishing. Only thing to keep in mind is sometimes the parking is limited. On street parking is prohibited on the roads adjacent to the parking lot.

They say that Waterfalls are sacred. You can travel at great length, Peru, New Zealand or Canada to see a falls or... find that sacred space right here in Rochester NY. Lower Falls Park is great. Get real close and feel the mist you wont be disappointed.

It has the potential to be one of the best parks in the city, but sadly its just another park in Rochester that decays faster than it is maintained. Still worth exploring, but the excess of trash and lack of maintenance and revitalization is saddening, and frankly, makes it impossible to immerse yourself. Perhaps one of the most upsetting things about Rochester is that it usually falls short when it comes to taking care of the beautiful spots they already have. Ill always be perplexed by the fact that Rochester is a city that is dying for more tourism, but does not capitalize on the fact that they have two gorgeous 100-foot waterfalls right in the city.Three stars is generous, but thats because Im sentimental.

The park is pretty and the trails are easy. Unfortunately theres a lot of trash. But its worth going to see the falls! A very accessible walk for little ones, even with a stroller or wagon.

Great place to work out and walk If your trying to escape the city plenty of spaces to run and bike and bring your kids I recommend bringing a small towel because the water fall will mist you if your close and the winds are right

A lot of people like to venture towards the bottom of the falls but the hike back up is a thigh/calf killer!! I like to sit right on top of the falls! Good place to show off to people new to Rochester Area and very peaceful place to relax if you’re a local.

Lower falls is a lesser known spot in Rochester rich with History. Kelsey’s Landing at the lower falls was a prominent part of the Underground Railroad network in Rochester. The park also has some very cool scenery, a great water fall, a few short trails, and a cave I hope to explore when the weather gets a bit nicer.

Beautiful park, a hidden great falls, solitude, trails, art, benches and rocks on which to sit, RGE station to show how falling water generates electricity.

Cute little grassy area at the entrance and one later on with a little walk to get there. Hard to get down to the water but its easy and fun to look out over the falls from the park. There are a number of stairs right at the beginning if you want to take the trail, the trail is not wheelchair friendly

Its a pretty little area tucked away down the ravine. I wouldnt ever suggest going here at night. It did not feel entirely safe, with people observed trespassing into the waterway and on the damns. This aside the park has some neat views of the two damn-created waterfalls in the park.

Beautiful falls. Nice views from the sidewalks and bridge. However does the best experience hike down into the gorge (not when its raining or rained a lot as flash flooding has killed people on rare occasions). If you walk in the trail into the woods just hop over the bent rails and head left. Carefully make your way down to the river and head right to come to a spectacular view of the falls. Theres also a large man-made flood control cave you can check out but it can smell kind of bad, i warned you! Not for kids or out of shape individuals. You can also climb down to the top of the falls to the right of the observation point. Middle falls is to the right of the observation point.

A really unique gem in the middle of the city of Rochester. Its like a mini Niagara falls! Make sure to take a rain-jacket because you will get sprayed with water. Also bring a buddy, it was pretty solitary, even on a Sunday...and fairly sketchy. Lots to see and explore here!

A great part of Rochester history. The water spray can cover the bridge above when the water is running fast enough., There is a trail to walk and the river is so powerful when the water is high.

Good views of the gorge. With the water going over the falls you wouldnt know you were in the middle of the city.Theres tables to sit at and grills to cook on at the rose garden.Theres usually a heavy mist in the air when the water is covering the crest of the falls. There is also a path down to the river on tye west side from the rise garden. Itvtsjes you north for a while and you havev to walk back to the falls once you get down yo the river bank.
