Very nice. Its COVID season now (Aug. 2020) so there dont seem to be as many tables as usual, and there are no trash receptacles, but otherwise nice and clean. Cant use restrooms right now either (because of COVID). Theres ample parking, a playground, tennis court, and a nice walking/biking trail. Decent park for near center of downtown.

Played singles pickleball on Sunday afternoon, and had a hot but fun time. There were still a couple of open courts, not sure if it was due to the heat or it being Sunday afternoon.

I like the park for its location where I can get on the Cascade Creek Trail. However, it seems to be a hangout sometimes and I feel uncomfortable. Its got a nice playground and pickleball and Tennis Court.

Nice park. Even has power to charge your cell phone at the pavillion. Sadly sone of its residents dont clean up after themselves but the county and city workers do a good job of it. The pavillion is always booked tennis courts are always packed I wish they put more here for I think more people would go to it. The playground sees little action so a nice safe place away from the road to take little ones who like to run around. Its also located on Rochesters bike path so great place to stop for a ball game or picnic.

This was the playground I as a free roaming child spent much of my time in. Much has remained the same thankfully. I could almost envision myself being there more than half a century ago.The major new addition is the creekside trail which is great for hikers and joggers, but it takes away the sense of awe and seclusion I found by the creek as a child. Cascade Creek was much deeper and the current much more swift than when I used to wade in it as a small child and hunt for crayfish by overturning submerged rocks. Another memory sadly so long ago was visiting with a hobo named Tippy DeWitt who frequented the forested and secluded banks of the creek and had a dugout in the hillside next to the railroad tracks. I think he lived there in this encampment.

Its not a very fun park and there is a slide that burns you in the summer

Whats not to love about this park. Slide time slide time slide time. Public restrooms a light that turns on in the gazebo in the evenings paddle ball and Tennis Courts a baseball diamond bike trail that follows the stream the Silver Lake and you can get just about anywhere in Rochester on. Last time I was here I was cooking food under the gazebo and a group of people were LARPing. That was pretty awesome! After they left man cave off and set up a Playstation 4 and was playing video games on a picnic bench. I love the location and old Abes is right next door

We play pickleball here at the courts, so love that, courts are quite nice. However, no drinking fountains anywhere, as far as I know. There are usually people having a cookout near the shelter or hanging out in the fields near the shelter, so appears to be a popular place.
