What a pleasant surprise of a park, very nice. There is a covered cookout area with six benches, a charcoal grill, a clearing area for picnics and some restrooms (although these appear temporarily closed). The most pleasant part of the park is an extensive set of trails back in the forest, including a small pond with seating. The pond had turtles, frogs and was a good spot to look for birds. The trail system included several style trails, including bike path quality, mowed paths and rough walking paths. Overall this is a great park, which we plan to return to sometime soon.

Winter Fest 2019 at Bear Creek Park. This was a fantastic event with snow games, penguin bowling, snow ball fights, and archery! They had free skating for all and even free rental skates in all sizes. Pizza and sandwiches along with unlimited hot chocolate. The park workers I spoke with were so helpful and informative. We will definitely be there again next year!!

Beautiful park with nice trails. Trails are pea gravel, but there are a few grass trails that are a little more rustic. There are a few docks along the trails with seating to take a break. Nice to get lost in nature once in a while!

Really nice little park. It was even beautiful in the winter. I’m thankful to have found a park that doesn’t charge to get in. $12 for a day visit at some of the nearby parks is ridiculous, just to go for a walk in the woods. ESP coming from Seattle where all city parks are free.

This is a beautiful park. Nice picnic area- pavilion looks brand new and playground, large grassy area by small parking lot. Best part was nature trails going through woods and fields. Also pond (map says skating pond). Close to cider mill.. I would love to come back and have my cider and donuts there.

Very nice. Mostly quiet and peaceful. Currently undergoing habitat restoration, so Im sure it will be incredible in a few years. Lots of bugs, especially mosquitoes from all of the water. When theres heavy rains, the trails do get flooded in some spots.

Great place to go and get away from it all, including all the other over traveled nature parks. This place has it all, from its marshlands to its forest, all complemented by its mixed elevation. Great place to go and get lost(in a good way). This park has a awesome hiking trails with many different paths to choose from on the fly, without having to worry about getting lost. Although I was unable to see any of the wildlife at the time of my visit (which was early winter) it was obvious to see that during Spring/Summer months this place would be overflowing with a large variety of wildlife. One last thing for the familys looking for the pavilions, grills, volleyball courts, and so on. This is, as it states a Nature Park and not a park with all the amenities of say a Metropark. This place stays true to its name Nature park and should stay that way!! Enjoy.
