A nice time to go and support some local sports! The only thing I would complain about is that they have a very small parking lot, other than that, it seems like a really great environment and they have concessions for games and sometimes really great drink deals! A place you can take the entire family! Go support something alcohol and have fun!

Great place for swim meet. There is a Dunn Bros coffee across the street. Parking is a bit limited. For this meet they did NOT allow beach seating

Great place for a Hockey game and learning to skate

Its great for a party place. Kids and adults enjoy either skating, swimming, working out and of course party fun time. I actually enjoyed watching people ice skating.

Great place. My 10 yr old takes swim lessons here. Nice staff. Very clean. Enjoyable atmosphere.

Don’t usually go here but when I do it’s to go to open skate and it’s always so crowded with too many little kids on the ice kinda makes me nervous. I think it would be safer if they had individual times for kids and teens/adults to skate instead of all being cramed together.

Ive been to several swim meets here over the last 3 years. Its always crowded on weekend and the parking is terrible. The pool area is good with lots of seating but not good for wheelchairs or people who have dificulty on stairs.

Lots of stuff to do even in the dead of winter.

The management of this place has really taken a turn over the years.Rude customers, ignorant staff that lack enforcement of the rules (to the obvious problems going on on the rink), which made the experience for my family terrible. I used to come here every weekend, now I want to skate but dread having to deal with the many problems that seem to happen when we go now.

Love the swimming lessons, but really dislike the lack of a family changing room. I have two girls so my husband cant take them alone... Or if he does they have to change on their own. Not a big deal if your kids are older, but a pain if they are younger.

“Sophisticated, well maintained!”For a small town this facility is amazing. It has a pool that can host state level swim events. My son used to practice there most of the year. Huge skating rink and also a hockey rink makes it an amazing destination in town.

Great place for open swim

Kids swimming lessons are good. They have bleachers for the parents to sit and the kids are taken to a separate area through glass partition. The only hard part is when you have a kid of opposite sex. They do have a family room for changing.

The rec center is reasonably priced and offers several great activity facilities. They have a nice size swimming pool, ice skating and hockey rink, and a basketball court. I swim there 2-4 times a week. Their pool is fairly bare bones. They do not use lane buoys. They claim on their website that there are an Olympic sized pool. While this is technically correct, the pool is actually split down the middle with a removable wall. Most of the time, this wall is in place which makes the swimming half the distance. Despite that, the water is kept at a reasonable temperature and they have enough lanes that you rarely have to wait to swim. The locker room is a bring your own lock and they do not offer locker rentals or towel passes which is slightly inconvenient but not a deal breaker.Overall, if you are looking for a facility for swimming at a reasonable price, I would recommend checking out the rec center.

Excellent place for hockey, skating, swimming and other activities.

Interesting venue. Was here for the state swim meet. It was pretty dirty and unfinished feeling, but the pools were very nice.

There are not many indoor 50 meter pools in the state of MN. If you are into swimming you better learn to like this place, or else your life will not be pleasant. The Rochester swim teams utilize this pool very well.

Having a great time here

Really great place though swim teams do get priority the locker rooms stay fairly clean and there are plenty of times for open swim and 25 length pools short course season olympic or 50 meter pools long course during the summer.

Great place and I love to skate there! Its really cheap but the only problem I have with them is how short the open skate times are! Its really frustrating!

Great place to go for swimming when in Rochester. The pool is never to crowded. Temperature of the pool is nice and cool for lap swimming.

2 ticket booths for a large group of people, if you like waitting in line for 30 mins just to get in and skate on crowded ice then this place is for you!

Best pool south of the twin cities

Cant get into the facility ever on a week night. Usually full of Swim Clubs Figure Skating Clubs Hockey teams practices.Even with a remodel and adding another pool I still cannot get in with the Special Olympic Team at our usual Thursday night practices that I have run for 20 years. Swim Teams get priority.
