Very beautiful building but it has so much more. It’s very clean and well kept and the people working there are always so friendly. I love the productions and think that this theatre is important as one of the only good theatre’s in Rochester. I recommend coming here for its plays and musicals.

Well Ive never been to the theatre when they were performing I hear that they are a dedicated group. I have been to Rochester Civic Center for other reasons and that might be why Google picked up on the Civic Theater. I really want you to go out and support on-stage performances

Went to a comedy show last it was very nice had a good time this is a place where you can have all kinds of events.

Ive seen a few plays here and both were entertaining. Treated very well when there was an issue with a water leak they opened up the bar for free drinks until they resolved the issue!!

The performance was superb. Talent was exceptional. Never disappointed.

Saw night of the living dead and loved it!

Weve seen two great plays at the Civic Theater and cant wait to return. Annie was especially endearing. Everything about the show was professional and well done.

First, Ive attended many plays here and the actors are all very good, some are just outstanding! However, the last two plays (Adams Family and Shrek) are filled with political agendas. Second, I go to plays to enjoy a night out, I dont go to hear a hack directors view on current events. This will be my last time supporting this venue and its avenue of activism. Sadly there is now one less place in Rochester to go for entertainment to just enjoy the show.Focus on entertaining and stay out of politics.

Preview of The Diary of Anne Frank was spot on! Very well done. Encourage all to go see the production.

We saw the Addams Family, it was very funny with great finesse, polish, and easy access. My only complaint was the hefty online purchase fee versus buying at the door for a show that was not sold out. Still, five stars, Ill be back!

We went and saw Shrek and it was a great play, the only thing is that when we were there we would have liked to have the concessions open especially with children.

They have a childrens theater class that meets for each day for 4 hours for a week. The final day is a play. My daughter loved it. The teachers were fabulous.

Very large facility that allows for multiple events to be held simultaneously. We watched the NCAA Div3 Womens semi-final games, and the national championship game there. We also saw the Addams Family play in the attached community theater.

It was a small theater with great sound. We saw a musical called Adams Family. It was a wonderful afternoon. Great cast!

Refreshing new leadership that is bringing in amazing talent, making Rochester competitive with larger cities and invigorating the dramatic arts for the young and more mature. The staff are enthusiastic. Seating is comfortable.

This place is really a gem. Its a small but nice venue without a bad seat in the house. From the plays to the music, its really top notch. Be sure to check out the monthly Americana Showcase music series. Songwriters in the round are amazing!

I have never had a bad experience here! Great shows, cozy atmosphere. Not every show is for everyone, but dang close! Not easy for a theater company.

A nice remodel has done them well. The venue is small but great. I would absolutely recommend a show here. :)

I refuse to be a patron or volunteer of the Rochester Civic Theatre until the current board leadership resigns and the bylaws are redrafted to include member, donor and volunteer participation on the board.

It is a community of live acts. The shows are all live with people from the area.

I like this place because it is close and it looks so new.
