My sons and I were at Mayo for appointments. We had time in between appointments so we were looking for a store to buy religious items and just was drawn into the store by the gorgeous artwork. There were so many favorite pieces we could have spent all day there. My favorites I remember is a man who put such fine details into his wood carvings of normal everyday people. It was gorgeous. As we were admiring the art work a lady came over and gave us a tour and we learned so much! She was incredibly kind to my son who enjoys carving and wood burning himself. We bought a little wood bird that is made to be held in your hand and comfort you and we bought a wood carving book! Im so impressed by the work shown and by the womans kindness and knowledge! We will definitely be back to purchase more!

One would not expect to see the variation and quality that is available in this art gallery and store. I have seen some of the most dramatic and precision carvings of fish, birds and mammals in this gallery. Recently it has expanded and become 25% larger with many new pieces of expertly executed art. Many of them designed and crafted by artisans in the upper Midwest.. Much of jewelry the you see there is also understated. Most all of them are one of a kind. If you want a piece of jewelry that is truly unique, look and shop at this newly expanded gallery.

I had the most wonderful time looking and being completely enthralled by the creative work of local artists. There are beautiful paintings of the natural world from landscapes to portraits of bison or loons or horses running free. I love the jewelry and the woodcarvings. I bought two beautiful little birds carved from cedar one for me and one for a friend. I will return in the future and will again find something beautiful for myself and for friends and family. I give this wonderful store two thumbs up. And I want to add the owner, James Krom, is helpful and kind. You can tell he loves the art that he sells . He knows the artist and can share interesting background of the person. I felt no pressure to buy, just happiness that I was so enthralled by the work. Go and see for yourself.Really!

Beautiful gallery with some pieces you will find nowhere else! The owners are involved in museum installations that promote understanding and appreciation of veterans through art, and are a great asset to our community.
