A very unique store with artisan homewares. The pottery selection is beautiful. The owner is a landscape architect and worked to design an upgrade to my garden with special attention to my goals for the space. Definitely recommend. This is a local small business worth your support!
The owner was less than welcoming and made me feel like an inconvenience to her while I was there. Many pots not priced so I had to keep asking for prices and was snapped at during my visit because I had moved my mask off my nose while no one was in the store but me (I couldnt breathe). While I am fine with the need to cover my nose again, the way she went about it was rude and disrespectful. Very disappointed in this encounter and if Im going to spend that kind of money on garden pieces I will go somewhere where Im treated kindly and with respect.
What a great shop. Merchandise changes enough to be worth many visits. Jean is a welcoming host, friendly and helpful.
Owner adds value to the community.
My husband and I have longed to have a beautiful Japanese garden. Jean Westcott, owner of the Artful Gardener, is an impeccable landscape designer who created an absolutely stunning garden for us. Words cannot do justice to her ability to really understand the artistry of crafting conscious spaces that have flow, and interplay of textures and colors in a way that we did not imagine possible. Truly stunning! Jean lives the experience in a way that is passionate and aware! Her knowledge base is incredible!Jean worked in tandem with Chris Shortz Landscape. Together they were completelydevoted to giving dimension and a kind of presence to the various areas they were working with. We wanted beautiful rocks in concert with the Japanese plants and trees. Many tons of natural stone were transplanted onto our property. Every detail was completely thought through... Jean worked very, very carefully with the placement and positioning of literally each stone, so that they contribute to the overall flow of the garden. We are most grateful for Jean’s vision and Chris’ expertise, as now we can appreciate the beauty that surrounds our home.Carolyn Cerame
Went for a somewhat unconventional anniversary gift for my wife and it was a big hit! Customer experience was wonderful, highly recommended
Beautiful shop! Must see!
A beautiful store with unique and beautiful items that cant be found anywhere else locally. The owner is sweet and very helpful.
Nice store, nice owner. Things you wont find anywhere else.
Was hoping they would have potting soil, they didnt but they had some great art! They sent me to Grow Moore for potting soil in November.
The owner is rude and disrespectful. She has no tack and quite ignorant. Would not recommend ever. I was able to purchase the sustainable threads brand towels and knapkins at the hub by archimage for less money.
Very interesting and enjoyable! Some of the items were too expensive for my budget however.
Love this place over the past 3 years I always buy something unique each summer. Also lots of local artisan have items to buy...support local!!
Unique and fun household gifts and garden items. Costly. Easy off the street parking.
Larger ticket garden/land scaping items (eg fountains) and delightful knick knacks
I love this place! A little bit pricey but very beautiful handcraft arts!
WOW. Owner is rude, arrogant, and very uninviting. Crack a smile and welcome your potential customers.
Unfriendly at best.
I like gardners
Very rude and I would not spend a dime here
