The maintenance at the reservoir has improved, but it is still a darcey from its former glory. The positions is nice and new from what I can tell. My dog and I go to the bark park frequently. The bark park is one of the nicest I have ever seen anywhere in the country. The maintenance there could be better so that it lasts longer, but I think the Richmond Parks Department is doing a good job at trying to catch up from a period of neglect.The pedestrian and boat docks are in much better shape than I remember in recent years. A fairly recent erosion control project on the shore helps show that care is being made.The drain in the parking lot that has been a deathtrap for at least a decade is finally getting repaired this year, too.Great place for all sorts of park activities.

Love this place.Great place for getting in touch with nature.You can fish, walk the trails, play with your kids at the playground, or even take your favorite 4 legged companion to the dog park.Maybe you could rent one of the large shelters for your next birthday or get together.If your into RC aircraft they have a large field with runway and landing strip.Boats are allowed but the entire lake is an idle zone and there is a small ramp fee.Catch all your local favorite fish from bass to catfish.If you dont have a boat thats ok they have several docks that you can fish from.If your a college student at IU or Ivy Tech there are trails that lead from the campus to the park or our local hospital.The kids playground was recently updated with a nature feel playset.The park is also handicap accessible.

Went to rent a paddle boat but they did not have them in the water and it is getting late in the season, otherwise nice place to relax and take in nature.

I caught a catfish and my grandson caught a bluegill...hes only 3yrs old. We had a blast.

A nice, quiet area to break up the road trip. Easy to get on and off the freeway. It does have an extensive dog park for locals that makes me jealous. Easy parking. As of summer 18 there is still a bit of construction.

Great place to fish and buy bait

Middlefork has been my favorite bass lake for over 30 years. Yes, they are in there and big ones. They are tough until you get it figured out, they are very picky. Ive won many of the bass tournaments back when they use to have them. We use to call it Indianas Best Kept Secret and I still do.

There are several boat ramps, a store to buy snacks & fishing supplies, fish cleaning station, canoe rentals.2) A big fenced in dog park that is sectioned off for small/big dogs with plenty of accessories such as water fountains, platforms, loops to play on.3) Walking trails.4) Playground for kids.5) Drone/model plane runway area.6) Covered picnic areas with grills.

I love going to park and just relaxing, watching the ducks and enjoying some peace and quiet. The views are great. Its family friendly the kids love to go and walk the trails and play in the creek even though their all teens now they still have a great time.

Purely eating the playground. Great new equipment that children of a variety of ages would enjoy playing on. I love how they utilize the hills that are there and turn them into natural stairs to slides. Really nice place to visit with your family.

Kind of run down. Its a shame cause it could be and used to be a nice place to go.

The Middlefork Reservoir is a Beautiful Park. It is loaded with many activities for families, Boating, Fishing, Picnicing, Jogging, Strolls and a great Playground for the kids. My Family​ always Enjoys!

I love taking my little girl here to play, I also love taking pictures here. If your lucky you can catch Bald Eagles fishing as well. Theres docks a boat ramp also its a no wake lake.

Great park for recreation and nature viewing. The playground equipment is new and very fun for younger kids.

I have to give this a 4 for the simple fact I havent caught one bass out of there my hole life, and I do a lot of bass fishing! The park is ni e though. They have a spot for the kids, a place to launch a boat, a dog park, which by the way is awesome! They even have a RCA model plane runway.

After a very rough start to my day so far the only good thing was that while I have to wait for trailer repairs my dog got to come here. Very big park and sectioned off for big or small bth have plenty of dog accessories. Loops platforms. Etc. spent an hour hear in the rain and it was still a blast

What a beautiful location. Fishing was slow after 10:30. Caught 1 decent cat and 2 smaller ones. The lake was calm, fishing piers were great.

Like most park systems the money is not there for updates . They have canoes and rowboats for rent . There is also a fairly new play ground for the children . There is a good size body of water and boat ramp for fishing . There is also a fenced doggie park . There is also a model gas fueled airplane take off and landing area . Covered picnick buildings with in ground grills .Small snack and fishing supplies along with a fish cleaning station . Walking trails !This is not a super, big attraction but it is a very nice place for an outdoor adventure within the city . The kids will enjoy it !

A very relaxing environment. Fishing, boating, doggie park, playground for kids, and a place to get drinks, worms etc. Come out and enjoy.

The park is in the process of changing. The platform docks have been repaired and are very nice. Saw some canoes I believe are rentals. I heard with the help of some Earlam college students they are upgrading the super park. Still need to work on parking lot. All in all nice experience.

Great place to take the kids

I drive down everyday with my doggies for a little adventure. We pull up to the ramp so we can check out the water. Its so beautiful and soon they will have a new deck with live music!!

I love how peaceful the park itself its and I love the way its set up.however, the equipment its so old its completely worn down I remember playing on the same equipment at a very young age.. Kids arent attracted to it.. Iys a wonderful park very quiet and plenty to do just needs updates please??

Such a beautiful place. My husband and I went to watch our son do his first triathlon a couple of weeks ago. I loved the drive and loved the locals who were friendly. By the way our son came in 1st in his age group 22-26 yr Olds. That was the cherry on top of the cake.Thank you Richmond Indiana!

The Bark park is a fun place to take your dog to play and interact with other dogs. There is an area to fly remote control planes. But the beauty of Gods work is all around you it is full of breath taking views.

Took our male 2 yr American bully pocket pit Diesel, all shots btw, and our lil Lyla brindle 6 month old American pit bull terrier 2 sets shots, about 3 weeks ago. 24 maybe 48 hrs later, she became severely ill. PARVO!!! But, lots of praying, crying, Pedialyte and cleaning.....that smell of death...4 daily trips to vet with iv fluids, penicillin shot, vomitting shot and about $200 to a wonderful vet and his team @ Animal Alliance. LIL LYLA LOU IS WELL AND PERFECT!!
