The facility has no room for spectators even though they extracted $20 per person for the privilege of entrance. The most worrisome aspect of this facility is the complete absence of physical or personal security. Several hundred young girls and parents occupied the facility during the day under 0 security measures. Shockingly irresponsible!
Vert nice facility. Good snack bar.
Concession stand, some outside seating, many bathroom stalls. congested for spectators (bring your own chair)
Need healthier food choices for kids.
They had plenty of room for chairs, the restrooms were clean and plenty of stalls, and the concessions were good (they even had beer). Ran a really good tournament. Would love to have another tournament here.
Clean, good staff, and well equipped.
Great place to play volleyball at a variety of levels and hang out afterwards (or between games) with a pitcher of beer and some food
Great indoor facility. Staff is friendly. Plenty of parking. Has concessions on site, and other restaurants nearby. Lots of courts for play. Wifi is available onsite, if needed.
Attended a volleyball tournament here, ok location but it’s too crowded for the tournament, parking isn’t so great, but staff is nice.
Love this place! Great community for volleyball players of all levels
Organized volleyball half day camp. My 11 year old had so much fun
Love this place! Great indoor volleyball facility with a few food options (think high-end convenience store level) and plenty of great beer choices at very reasonable prices.
Came here years ago with my older children playing for another team and always enjoyed the tournaments held here. Now my youngest is playing travel ball going into her second year and we have had nothing but a positive experience.
First volleyball tournament for my granddaughter it was exciting to see all those different levels of training in that facility. outstanding
Great coaches who are friendly yet dedicated to making players improve. Facility is always clean and no wear is seen on equipment, things are upgraded as needed.Very impressed with both of RVCs locations.
Great new food manager Brad has made this place great. Great selection of drafts at reasonable prices. Food is awesome.
Organized chaos gor high school boys volleyball tourney
Went to play soccer kinda sucked most people were using there hands back and forth over this net but they were having fun so I just joined in didnt feel right to cheat like that but it was all good!
Great volleyball for all skill levels. Variety of food and beverages. Great place for players of all ages. Always check website before dropping in. Practices and leagues on most nights. There are times for pick up games but need to see the calendar for times. Would be 5 stars if the beer werent so expensive.
Nice venue, however the ceiling was extremely low for volleyball. Many teams keep hitting the ceiling and they had to readjust their game. I think this changed the outcome of many teams. Not a good place for volleyball tournament.
Tons of courts for practices and matches, and a concession stand that offers local craft beer on tap. Whats not to love? My only quibble is that the parking lot could be a little better.
Buckets o beer, friends, volleyball. Great place.
Our teenage son played competitive travel-team volleyball here from the middle school league all the way through 16s. The staff is excellent and all about vball, as are the coaches that you can hire for hour-long sessions. The venue is geared towards maximizing volleyball playing space, not spectating, and players enjoy matches here. Best thing about the venue are the nets setup between and around every court so that balls generally tend to stay in your court space and do escape to interrupt other matches. The parking lot is not sufficient to handle the volume of their larger events, since they do not allow parking on their grassy areas. Attendees are forced to park along the narrow roadside along Byrdhill Road; that can be a bit scary. The youth and adult recreational leagues are a blast! Totally recommended. The Juniors Travel Program is supposed to be the assembly of stronger players, selected after a rigorous tryout weekend, that can compete locally, regionally and even nationally. Most of the coaches seem to come from Richmond area high schools. However, teams seem to be assembled more on the basis of who has the $2500 to $4000 funds as every year there are one or two players per team that have not even played before. It gets frustrating quickly for everyone involved, as the better players hit the floor during matches while the lesser players sit on the bench... and we watch their parents get frustrated, since they put out good money too.Overall though, this is a great venue for players (not spectators) and the recreational leagues are a ton of fun. Go check it out.
Very neat and great place to play.
If you love watching or playing volleyball, this place is definitely for you. They have games every night from Sunday- Friday. If youre new to volleyball, they even have a starter league to help you get off your feet!
Good co-ed rec league volleyball. Also pretty good beers on tap and open late for post game hang outs
Its volleyball with beer at night.
Always love there fish dinner
Great way to get out and meet new people, join the starter league each season for $50 and play every Friday night, then hang and have some great beer at unbelievable prices!
Good place to play volleyball. Lots of courts. Good snack bar that even has beer on tap if adults are playing.
Nice place and workers
Great venue for playing...not set up for spectators. There is no seating. You can bring a lawn chair and try to squeeze into an aisle where everyone is walking past. I think its unethical to sell spectator tickets if you have no spectator space.
I love RVC. I have been visiting them on and off for about 12 years. The people working the concession area are hit or miss but facility is great. Being a member and playing rec ball can be expensive.
Still a fantastic place to play volleyball, but has gone downhill in terms of quality and value in recent years. Prices have risen consistently without explanation nor additional services/value offered.
Free & easy on site parking, decent size with multiple courts, good food at good prices.
Such an awesome place to make lifetime friends while playing the amazing sport of volleyball!!!!
My daughter has been playing in Jumping Juniors for 2 years and we love RVC. Glad they are building one on closer to me in Midlo.
This is a really great facility and they have very good quality youth programs.
Cant beat the friendly competition. And it has a restaurant and bar definitely a bonus!
Good volleyball fun. Decent food.
Nice place to play. Food is nothing special.
Low ceilings, but other than that this place is amazing! Love it!
Pretty good facility...parking is tight though, but I have seen worse
They need bleachers,, way too overcrowded for events, everyone was bumping into each other, not much room for seating
A great place to play volleyball and always able to find a game to play
Should have built spectator space into the planning if this building.
Great location. A league for any skill level.
I love to play volleyball and they make it easy, accessible and inexpensive!!
10 courts, lots of fun, good food and a large selection of beer.
Best place in richmond to play volleyball no matter what your level of play
LOUD for tourneys. Bring ear plugs. Restrooms are not kept clean.
Never new this place existed.Very nice facility for sporting events
Ok
Great atmosphere, best value for organized adult sports. Could use a rescheduling policy for inclement weather or cancellations on their part, but all in all the best you will get in Richmond.
Just a big building with a bunch of volleyball courts. Nothing fancy.
Way too small to host certain events parking horrendous
OK, poor managemenr, or too successful for own hood.
The best place to play volleyball in Richmond!
Balls provided
Clean, lots of courts. Plenty of places within a 5 minute drive of the volleyball house, including Panera, starbucks, dairy queen, firehouse subs...etc.
Great courts. Limited seating.
Wonderful staff and a great place to play
Great place to play & learn volleyball
Great volleyball in a fun, friendly setting.
Team nights are ok lately they have been over booking courts making for a late night.
Awesome place, so much fun!
One of my least favorite places to take my teams for tournaments. Next year I will probably drive an extra hour to play.
Nice snack bar
Amazing quality gym
This is a solid volleyball club that serves both the young and adult player.
Great volleyball facility
