Great local rec assoc with a ton of fun neighborhood members. A lot of history in the house and pools and just a fun, relaxing place to be!

Ive spent a good portion of my life at this pool, so Ill admit I may be biased. But heres my honest take...The main pool is old and small, just 5 lanes wide and 25 yards long. The shallow end is shallow, 2.5 feet deep. This is a benefit with small children though. The baby pool is also a little small compared to others, but still plenty big. There is also an adult pool, which is a big plus. There is no adult swim as a result.The lifeguards are friendly and as good as any others in the area, but thats not to say I would take a nap while my small children got in the water.The members are fantastic. It is a laid back, friendly, and welcoming environment, with a great neighborhood feel.Because it is small, it can be a challenge to find a table on crowded weekends, and if you go to a holiday party, you better get there at opening if you want a table, and not long after for a seat in general. It is worth it though as there is usually a good meal, fun games, and nice music.The building offers a ballroom and separate large room available for rentals. There is also a basketball gym that is accessible during pool hours and able to be rented in the evenings year round. There is also a kitchen that members are free to use, provided they clean up after themselves. There are grills available for use as well.If youre looking for a neighborhood pool, its hard to find much better.

Ive been here many times for events, and I love this house. I know that they also have a pretty big pool, but Ive never used it.The parking on hot summer days is difficult, since it is street parking...and it gets crowded.It is gorgeous, though, inside and out. Its the typical manor house of the area.
