Jason was wonderful to work with. He provided great sound for our ceremony and reception. All the guests loved his music choices for the evening and he got everyone, including the grandmas, out onto the dance floor. Our guests especially loved the photo booth they provided. With COVID we were unable to have physical props but the photobooth allowed you to add digital “props” via filter to both still pictures and gifs and all our guests had so much fun with it.

Jason and the rest of the crew was amazing! I can not say enough kind words. I wasnt too concerned about the music, but my husband was. We didnt give too many restrictions, and were actually pretty vague with our music preferences... however, Jason knew JUST what our wedding needed! He listened to who we liked, and the style/setting of our wedding and made the music fit the vibes. Actually, the music SET the vibes ;) The music was perfect during ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. ZERO complaints! Also, he is the BEST MC for a wedding. He kept the night going and stayed on schedule, but more importantly, was entertaining and kept everyone active in the reception. We also booked their Photo Booth. This is one of my favorite memories from the night. They give the Bride and Groom a copy of every single photo and asked the guests to sign a scrapbook with their photo. (So thoughtful) AND, Jason surprised us with their selfie mirror!! GUYS, this thing is so cool!! (and yes, you guessed it, we now have all of those photos too!) Thank you again and again, KY Pro DJ!

Jason and Russ were our DJs/MCs for our 9/12/2020 wedding and could not have been happier with their performance! We had a lot of unexpected changes to our wedding plans in the week leading up to our big day, and they rolled with the punches and were super flexible and easy to communicate/get a hold of. We told them our top priority was to get the dance floor filled and party going- and they did just that! We have had endless compliments from guests regarding how amazing the music was and how much fun they had dancing the whole night. Kentucky Pro Dj was everything we were looking for in a Dj. Working with KY Pro DJ was a no-brainer for us. Jason & his group were one of the first vendors we chose once we began the wedding planning process, and he exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds. We got married on New Years Eve, so Jason suggested doing a confetti cannon at midnight (he supplied). Oh my goodness! This was the perfect touch! My husband and I cant think of enough good things to say about Jason and his team. We both highly recommend him, and if we definitely plan to use his services again in the future!!

Ive been a wedding vendor (professional photographr) for over 12 years and as someone who has worked with hundreds of DJs, Ky Pro DJ is at the top of the list. Ive had the pleasure of working w/ Jason many times over the years and his level of professionalism is unparalleled. His music choices as well as the ambience he helps creates not only by the music, but the tasteful up-lighting and equipment he employs. Far too many DJs are either too over the top, treating their wedding like they are playing a club, or they are too passive and dont understand the emcee element that is so important to helping a wedding flow. We were unsure about using a DJ vs a live band and we were over the moon about our decision to choose KYPRO DJ. I must compliment the photo booth specifically ... It was awesome that each photo booth session generated two prints (one for our guests and one for us)! Jason went above and beyond for our wedding ! Since I very first spoke with him after meeting him at a bridal show, BEFORE I even said I was booking him or sent him a dime, he immediately offered a world of help when I was looking for other vendors/venues and etc in the central Kentucky area . We spoke for hours on the phone just so he would be sure my wedding was all I wanted it to be. I was so grateful! Then as time went on after I booked him and we inched closer and closer to our big day, I just got even more impressed. He came to check out my venue since he hadnt been there, offered to come to the rehearsal, and we spoke on the phone / met several times just so he made sure every single detail was perfect. It was almost as if he was on my coordination team ! He takes his job very very seriously, and thats why I see he is voted the best in the area by The Knot time after time. I was at first not planning on focusing much of my budget on my Dj. But the more I learned about it the more I realized the Dj is truly responsible for the party. Not just for playing good music, but playing good music at certain times to keep people in the dance floor, knowing when to cut cake/do first dances and etc. I thought I knew how I would run my reception but after speaking to Jason, he helped me build a better timeline of events to keep the energy high and to have the best reception ever despite the heat in our outdoor venue, the problems, and craziness of our day. Now that our beautiful day has come and gone, I look back and am so so glad I booked KY pro DJ. Over every other detail I planned, I simply wanted ppl to remember the awesome time they had celebrating with us since lets be honest - most people dont even remembered much of the decor you pour your heart into but remember the good time and food! And exactly that happened! Yay ! Ive had so many people go on and on about the awesome music at our wedding and I have him to thank ! Our wedding had its share of slip ups and overlooks - but Jason rose above, never complained, dealt with difficult people with Grace, and truly was the MVP of our wedding (as my very stressed mother stated who said Jason did anything and everything we asked him). He conducts himself in a classy but lively / fun manner without being cheesy like many DJs. He truly captivated the 300+ ppl wedding we had like it was a piece of cake! Most importantly, although I didnt even know him at all before, I now feel like he is a good friend and not just my Dj.
