We had Justin Everson as our DJ and we could not be more pleased with the outcome! He was also our Master of Ceremony and he ensured everything went smoothly. He worked with us and had open communication throughout the entire process.He was amazing! He engaged with the crowd just enough. He kept people on the dance floor the entire night! Helped us narrow down the DJ based on the type of music and ceremony we wanted and that led us to Andrew. He did a fantastic job communicating with us leading up to the wedding. DJ Tony was absolutely incredible! Worth every penny, he was very responsive and helpful. Our wedding was at my mothers private farm and he came out to the venue twice personally to make sure everything looked good and to make the day as stress-free as possible. He FaceTimed with us to walk us through the portal and to give us some recommendations as well. He had family members dancing that I never would have expected to even leave their seats. Very professional business at Black Tie Entertainment. After a straightforward and fairly quick selection process we landed with Kevin for our wedding who was a blast. He was energetic and excited to be apart of our big day and I never once had to wonder what would come next during the wedding or reception. He was timely and helpful and above all, fun! He captured some footage at the reception throughout the night and put a short video together of everyone dancing within a couple hours. It was such a nice gesture and was above and beyond. Black Tie Entertainment was great to work with from our initial call with them through our wedding day. Tony was our DJ and the absolute best! I would give him more than 5 stars if I could. We first met DJ Mike Interdonato at a Black Tie Entertainment Meet the DJ Night. When he said he likes for couples to trust him to play music that is working for the crowd...we knew he was the DJ for us! We (as well as our friends/family) listen to a wide variety of music and wanted someone we could trust to mix it up and help everyone have fun. He listened to all our wants during planning and made them even better!! He truly went above and beyond to make our wedding extra special! He kept the party going and everyone dancing until the very last song! He was the perfect amount of involved with the guests, perfectly cued each special moment, and made it a night we will never forget!

I highly recommend Lew Wright to be your DJ! Once we booked Lew to emcee our wedding, we spoke with him over the phone many times so that we could get to know each other well. Had such a great experience with Rick at Tie Entertainment! He made the entire process so EASY and fun! He completely took so much stress off of me because he makes it a point to listen to what you want and then walks you through the entire planning process. BTE and Rick Pfamatter went above and beyond our expectations. Dave Melton was very quick to respond to any questions we had and Rick Pfamatter was always available to FaceTime and email with us. Our wedding was fabulous and everyone had a great time, Rick kept the party going the entire time and kept the dance floor packed. Rick was able to give us a schedule that made the reception go smooth and we didn’t have one single issue. He made us and our guests very comfortable and everyone loved him. We also had a photo booth and that was a lot of fun. We had a lighting package and our reception room was absolutely beautiful. I would recommend them over and over again!

Andrew with Black Tie Entertainment was amazing! He was very responsive, thorough and had such a positive energy. He rolled with the punches all throughout wedding planning during COVID and made our day more than we could have ever imagined. Multiple guests raved about him all night! He was very professional while being fun and and light to get us on the dance floor. He used his musical creativity to help fill some holes in our playlist throughout the night and certainly didnt disappoint. 10/10 would recommend!

Let me tell you, DJ Tony was one of the best parts of our wedding. We did not provide many songs for him, as we just asked him to use his professional judgement during our wedding for all the different phases. We cant say enough about our DJ Rick, he crushed it! We would 100% recommend him! Ive been to a lot of weddings and I would say he is by far one of the greatest wedding Djs.Black Tie Entertainment, they are a little over priced for the Richmond area. Their prices were almost double what other Djs were. I know what you are thinking... why did you go with them then? They had the best reviews, most reviews on wedding wire, and we liked their portal. They had an amazing platform to connect with our DJ and they made it very easy. Although it was very expensive we were able to do payments on their portal. So was it worth the money? Yes! I will say though, if you can find someone who is cheaper and the value is the same Id go with them. It did frustrate me at times how adding something small was overly priced. So do your own research and see if they are the right fit for you. If you do go with them, you wont be disappointed... but again they are pricey!Again, WE LOVED RICK!!!!! His communication was awesome and he is also a very nice guy and is a killer DJ!!!

Chase helped my husband and I come together on our music selections. We werent very particular about the selections but the live guitar during ceremony and the dancing music during reception were PERFECT. We loved working with Chase!

When we were planning our Sept. 2019 wedding, one of the most important parts of our day was a fun party for our guest, with a fantastic DJ! We met with no less than 4 different djs/companies that fell short until we found Black Tie Entertainment and DJ Wayne. We had actually attended multiple weddings prior to our big day that used Black Tie, so we were excited to check them out. Black Tie was the most professional DJ service we experienced. They were extremely well organized, had a wonderful and user friendly online portal to keep things simple and organized, and we never worried about not having a DJ because we knew there would always be a back-up. Once we met with DJ Wayne, it was like things finally clicked for us! His many many years of experience definitely showed through, and after one meeting we knew that he understood the vibe we were going for and his personality matched us so well! We also loved the fact that he had conducted multiple weddings at our venue, so the sense of familiarity was also comforting to us. We were very pleased with our experience with Black Tie Entertainment and DJ Wayne, and would highly recommend them for other people. We cant thank them enough!

Black Tie entertainment did an excellent job with our wedding. We had Andrew Nelson as our DJ and he was able to control the flow of the reception quite well. He was able to get a feel for the crowd and got everyone on the dance floor for partying but was also able to slow things down so we could enjoy time with our friends and family around the venue. He also took requests from our guests and smoothly blended them into the music of the evening. Black Tie provided all the tools we needed to plan out the music for the ceremony and reception, which is a big task, but the tools let you easily pick out your special songs for events like entering the reception or the first dance. They also have lists where you can put songs you want played at the reception or not played at all. All in all it was a very friendly company to work with and they make planning easy with their online planning tools.

Jason Paige was the BEST wedding DJ we could ever ask for! He played our ceremony music, cocktail hour and reception. All of our guests gave us so many compliments about his music selection and ability to throw an awesome party! The best compliment of all was that our guests stayed the entire night, dancing and celebrating with us until the very end! Thanks to Jason, my husband and I and all of our friends and family have incredible memories of our wedding night! They told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to! We booked Tony through Black Tie Entertainment for our February wedding and had the best experience. Tony incorporated our requests into the perfect playlist for our wedding. I honestly dont remember leaving the dance floor for more than a few minutes all night! Every guest that weve talked to since the wedding has commented on how great the music was and how much they loved Tonys energy. He kept an eye on our timeline and made adjustments as needed to keep the nights big events on track. My grandfather had a little too much fun and kept finding his way behind the DJ table, but Tony handled his frequent requests to take the mic with patience and good humor. Our night wouldnt have been quite the same without Tony, and we would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. Hes the guy to call to make your wedding the best party in town :)

Black Tie Entertainment has a large group of DJs to choose from, and they do a thorough interview with you to make sure you get the one best suited to your style. As soon as we read Lew Wrights bio on the website, we knew he was perfect for our wedding. We wanted something chill and old school Rat Pack, nothing too hyped up, and he delivered! Not only does Black Tie have a huge library of songs to choose from, their website portal was very useful when it came to picking songs for each specific moment of the evening. Talking to Lew felt like the first time we really nailed down a timeline, which set me at ease in the months leading up to the wedding. He has a great personality and speaking voice, and just really seemed to fit in to the flow of our wedding, guiding everyone through all the major points. He arrived promptly and set up all of his own equipment, which looked and sounded professional. And at the end he gave us a CD with all our major moment songs!! I was really touched by that and Im so glad we had Lew there to celebrate our big day.

Dave and his team were nothing but amazing! Dave called me to confirm the ceremony processional and recessional 2 weeks out and then agin the week of just to make sure it was perfect and it was exactly that! He did an amazing job playing the songs that we requested and making sure when we requested random start times that it was exactly how it needed to be. He was extremely nice and easy to work with and we couldnt have imagined it any other way!

Justin Everson is a phenomenal DJ. He is accommodating, professional, thorough, and very personable. We booked him after speaking with him on the phone. He was kind enough to speak with us via FaceTime since we lived out of the area. He called us twice throughout the duration of the planning process. He made sure to practice saying everyone in our wedding party’s name to make sure he had it correct.He also attended our rehearsal. He played the music as we all practiced processing down the aisle. We had Chase as our wedding DJ and he was amazing!!! We were able to meet with him a couple months before our wedding, facetime the week of, and I even sent him a change the night before my wedding and he was awesome and got it done! Black Tie Entertainment was so easy to work with for our wedding! They paired us up with our DJ Yonni Rude. Yonni was amazing from start to finish. We had an initial meeting where we went over the logistics of everything and he showed us how to use the online program to make changes to the timeline, create a DO NOT play/ MUST play/ and play if possible. Our families were on the dance floor from the moment we opened it up to the last song. Ive had multiple friends and family members comment on how great our DJ was. Black Tie Entertainment was affordable but not cheap-- and theres a reason for it. When you book a cheaper DJ its either due to skill or inexperience. Yonni was both skilled, experienced, and an excellent MC! But no worries, BTE didnt break the bank or destroy our budget. 10/10 we would recommend BTE and more specifically, Yonni, to anyone whos looking.Thank you Yonni && BTE for an amazing soundtrack to our wonderful day!

Jason Paige at Black Tie Entertainment SAVED my wedding. He stepped in last minute (a week before my wedding) to be our DJ. I originally had another DJ at Black Tie Entertainment, John Lukehart, who bailed on me 6 days before my wedding due to the COVID-19 mandate. Mr. Paige was the sweetest man and an amazing DJ.
