I got married here in 2015. The wedding planner lady (Lynn M.) Was extremely rude to us and she was talking about me behind my back to the clean-up staff after our wedding ended and she was trying to rush us out. She got furious at me for coming in the room to get my bouquet. She was saying such rude things to the other staff members about me too! They messed up our food. They made the wrong thing and left things out. It all tasted bad. She spent most of the wedding flirting with our DJ instead of attending to me. She rolled her eyes when I asked her to please turn the AC up. They messed up our cake, too. We told them to save the top layer of our cake and not give it to anyone, but they were slicing it and giving it away to our guests, which is exactly what we told them NOT to do. They made a ton of mistakes and did not apologize for anything. I would not recommend getting married here, even though we are still glad we are married and certain family members made our wedding beautiful anyway. Lynn M. Really hurt my feelings with her rude and arrogant behavior. I did not want to be treated that way on the most important day of my life!

Very nice club great facilities

Was trying to schedule a lesson for my two daughters. Both of which are starting varsity players. Its been four days and countless messages left and no response. No even a curtosy email. They lived up to their reputation of horrible customer service skills.

Not a member but my boss, crew and I repaired and repainted their tennis and basketball courts, great owner and a beautiful facility.

Attended a small gathering there tonight. Space perfect. Staff friendly and attentive. Parking easy and with the rain it was nice to have a covered drop off at the main entrance.

Nice venue, very helpful staff. Excellent catering/kitchen/service staff, actually. (Ive only been there for corporate events, though).

Great club with lots to do and extremely well kept.

Were were going to consider a family membership. Definitely not! Coming from La Jolla California and the la Jolla Beach and tennis club standards. Westwood has some societally and personally attentive growing up to do. It seems to pander a bit too much to old money and status and not enough to us GenXers who are the non-discriminating future! To quote Pretty Woman.... Big Mistake! Huge!

They need a more diverse membership. The new pool is beautiful, but not very functional for both families with kids vs those without kids. The food is just ok. The long term wait staff is very nice. Communication between management and some staff is often non-existent.

A complete waste of my nieces time. The coach spent more time on his cellphone than actually helping teach the students.

I play cards there every month and love their lunch of salad and half sandwich. Oodles of goodies. Last time, since on carb free diet, I had there burger and salad. Awesome !!

My kids really enjoy the tennis club here, food is awesome and staffs are super nice and family friendly. My only wish is that remodeling the club to more contemporary designs.

Service was slow. My dinner & the dinner of another guest at my table were the last served because somone at another table decided they wanted what we were having instead of what they pre ordered. So, our 2 dinners had to be cooked at the last minute. Then we had the same problem with dessert & my friend took hers home in a box. The food quality & taste were adequate. It was not up to their previous reputation.

Updated: Wednesday June 17, 2020. I attended the new phase 2 pool on Momday. I havent yet been able to swim or get in the water because it was cold and cloudy that day but the pool and grounds are beautiful and the layout is fantastic. Currently due to covid restrictions and regulations there are measures in place that are not as enjoyable as the eventual experience will be but I know it will be so great to experience the pool when it is operating at full capacity and everything is completely open. I only have one complaint aside from the restrictions that are not the fault of the Club, and that is that the family pool is not ready. The project should have been completed by the opening date. The large pool is open and usable but the other pool is still under construction and hopefully will be done soon. I included photos of the updated pool in my review. One thing I am definitely pleased to see is that the tunnel slide which is a new feature has a life guard stationed at the top where you will enter the slide this is reassuring for safety and knowing it wont be an issue for kids to get out of control with use of the slide.

The rooms are very nice for meetings, tall ceilings and big windows in the lunch room. Lunch menu is ok with the spoon pudding being a standout.

Beautiful club

Amazing tennis facility and the best in the region. Combined with a laid back atmosphere and great fitness, pool, dining, and kids club facilities it really is a top notch club in the RVA
