Course is in great shape. Sign up if you can
Best condition Ive ever seen it.
Went there for a private function, servers were great and banquet hall was very nice. Grounds were clean and well kept. Would be a nice place for a wedding inside or out weather permitting.
I didnt play the course on this visit, but have a few times. A good course to play. Overall, it is maintained well. A little expensive to me. But go with a member as a guest to try it out. The golf group ate at the club house restaurant after playing the public course across the street and they have the best food and is available to non members. Prices reasonable. Many items to choose from even if you vegetarian. They have plenty of inside and outside seating and handled the group size very well, efficiently and with a smile, answering questions with patience.
I absolutely loved my time here as a guest. Small but chill country club. Old Donald Ross design which you see quickly while pulling up in the parking lot where you see three greens including 18. Lots of slope on pushed up greens throughout the course. Not the most exciting tee shot golf course, but the beauty often opens up on the second one. You definitely need to play here several times to understand what lines to take off the tee and where to miss greens. If you miss in the wrong spot I see many bogeys and doubles in your future. Random but the tee box for the 3rd hole that juts out into the lake was really cool.Conditions were great for the wintertime. I dont understand other courses but brown grass on the fairways can be beautiful too. Played perfectly even late in the year. Greens were fantastic too. Small putting green next to the parking lot that shows off what youll see on the course. There is a small chipping green with bunkers in between the 1st and 18th holes, but its a long-ish walk. The driving range I didnt get to see but is on the far edge of the property. I think you need to drive a car there. The pro shop is small but I hear they will be adding some new items soon. The food was delicious. I had the brisket sandwich and my friends had some tasty spicy chicken sandwiches. The loaded nachos were also great for sharing. But the best thing about this place is the people. The members were all so nice and welcoming, and the head pro and wait staff were the same. Cant wait to get back down here.
The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Rhonda was awesome, allowing my friend and me to play this difficult but challenging course. Beautiful clubhouse, amenities and the food is amazingly good! Had a great time. Oh yeah greens rolled smooth and true! Good luck.Hat
One of the friendliest places to play golf. Great pro shop that makes everyone feel welcome. Of course, look out for the first 4 holes ... Theyre a tough start
Catered event and the ffg food was very good and wait and bar staff professional and polite.
Excellent, friendly service. Course is difficult.
Place is in excellent shape.
Love the golf course, the social events and the people!
OLD style golf course. Private, so rare to get to play. Driving range is at separate location... Nearly every hole is far uphill or downhill. Nice looking, but very different even from the Senior Tees
Very nice setting. Golf is good. Food is good. Service is very good. Have been to many events there.
Nice grounds
Food was good, but service very slow. We did have a group of 14, but only one server didnt cut it.
Great, tuff golf course that is in excellent shape. If you think you can play golf give it a try it will deflate your Ego.
The order taker was too fast and too soft talking
Jefferson Lakeside Country Club is an older club in the heart of Lakeside. The amenities are nice, if a bit dated. The golf course is challenging and is usually in very good condition. The cart paths need to be replaced. The practice facility is excellent, but not connected to the course (so you have to drive to the course after warming up). Food in the grill is good and service is friendly and attentive. Overall, membership is a great value.
There is something for everyone in the entire family! The pricing is affordable with extreme value. Great service, food and golf course conditions. Highly recommend.
Toxic workplace. Dysfunctional. Poor communication. Thumbs down. Sure looks nice. Sorry not sorry... I have higher standards.
Fun pool, but a bit loud for me.
Not a good venue for events with any guests who have mobility issues, ie. walker, wheelchair ... have to enter through side/back entrance away from front entrance others use, the restrooms are not accessible for wheelchairs/walkers ... stalls too small to accommodate, toilets not ADA compliant, just regular height ... would not recommend for reunions such as I attended ... also, wi-fi was not reliable for DJ, basically had to have his own hot spot to access internet ... staff members were friendly and helpful, thus 2 stars, not 1
Looking for a club to join that has it all and is not pretentious you have to look no further. Great tennis courts, golf, pool, and food.
The events we hold here are just right. The staff is very supportive and accommodating to our needs.
Nice family oriented club. Good mix of members. Great (tough) greens.
Delightful night of wine tasting with a bucket of mussels. Good vibes.
I think this organization has the finest staff that I have ever encountered in my entire career
