Great place to let the kids blow off some energy. However, from a parents perspective it’s rather gross. I always bring sanitizing wipes with me. The place is dimly lit and the bathrooms need some repair. But the kids always seem to enjoy themselves. Even had a reasonably priced birthday party here for a 4 year old plus 5 friends for approx $100. We got a private room for an hour that was set up with plates, cups, napkins, utensils, and table clothes in the color of our choosing. Brought our own cake.
The kids had fun and I got a work out following them around. Great place to let the kids get out some energy and be safe while doing it. I will say the only reason I didnt give 5 stars is the pizza. For the price, it is very poor quality. However, the family fun deals make up for some of that. Over all it was a fun experience for my girls and I.
Kids had a blast. Lots of fun watching the kids run around. Plenty of seats for parents and grandparents to watch their children have fun.
We were there on Thursday May 18th 2018. It was my first visit there, and my 5 year old grandson absolutely loved it, there were a few things out of order, that need repaired, however not enough to give less than a 4 star, if everything was working, would definitely give 5 star. My grandson had a blast, he actually started to cry when we started to leave, so I told him we would be back, and granting the time we shall indeed. Thank-You bounce house for such a fun time for my only grandson, and delighted myself to watch his reaction to all the fun presented.
With small children Im grateful that this place is very quiet first thing Saturday mornings. Staff is kind and dont hover. Some say its dirty but I would say it is the expected level of a place constantly crawling with kids.
Great for young kids
It would be a great place if they ever fixed the games! Nothing works and half the inflatables were not in use. Plus water poured thru the ceiling from a leak and ruined my sons socks
We are from out of state and have been visiting the bounce house for several years whenever we are in Richmond. However after today we most likely will not be back. Its very run down compared to previous visits. Half of the arcade games didnt work, one of the bigger inflatables wasnt even inflated, what happened to the lounge area for the parents and the prices seemed to have increased quite a bit. I had a 9 & 10 year old with me and they were ready to go after 30 minutes. One out of the three employees we encountered was nice, the other two acted like it was an inconvenience to even have to be there. Next time well drive 20 minutes and go to Lexington.
Had taken my great grandson several of his favorite things to do were broke not worth what we had to pay for our little guy to play end up spending way to much for a 2 hour trip out. Must said he did enjoy himself after a friend came in to play with him.
A fun friendly place. But my sister planned for 10 kids as a max and only 3 showed. They made her pay for all 10 anyway.
Kids have a lot of fun, but each visit more and more arcade machines are out of order. Visited twice 2 months apart and the same machines are out of order, same things are broken. Used to be a good place to go, but the maintenance hasnt been kept up and its age is showing.
Grandson loves it. Needs a good cleaning and the bouncys needs to be resewn and cleaned. But we do repeatedly go there and he always has fun.
We went for our first time and while the kids ran and played on the inflatables, I was truly grossed out by the filth. My grandchildren are only 4 and 2 so the arcade games were not something we had even planned to do and it was a good thing because the majority of them had out of order signs.
Great fun for kids but the pizza could be much improved for the price
I have two smaller children 3, and 1. It costs $5 a piece even with my son being so small but honestly ten dollars is worth the three hours we usually stay. Most of the arcade games don’t work but to be honest only reason I don’t mind is my kids could really care less about them, they always just go jump and play. The staff is nice and does not hover at all and I love that. The bounce houses definitely could be way more maintained. They have a few holes all in them and all that’s done about it is a piece of duct tape. I loved how there was a bunch of blocks by the tables bc my younger son when I took a break from jumping with my older one he would sit and play with those! I wish the owner would maybe put a little more money into making this place more presentable and maybe he’d have more business. It’s always dead and I live that bc we usually have the place to ourselves but I’m pretty sure that’s a bad sign and they will be closing sooner than later!!
The kids absolutely love it! Adults will appreciate that there is some seating in both the front and back to allow you to stay close to the kids.
The bounce houses are fun, especially for kids. Dont look for anything else to work. Most of their arcade area is out of order or malfunctions. This is a great affordable place for the bouncing though. You pay for kids only, which is why I give this 4 stars.
My son loves the bounce house but unfortunately we are sitting here at 10:25 and the place is locked up. Supposed to open at 10am and my son is beside himself upset. Guess we’ll have to make the drive to lexington for monkey joes
Let’s see. Many of the arcade games are broken and will take your tokens. Upon entering AFTER paying we are told by a girl up front “No outside food or drinks allowed” okay the next time we decide to take our kids out, this place won’t get our business then. I refuse to spend a fortune on overpriced snacks in this business. I understand they need to make money to pay employees and operate but the rudeness from the employees was beyond anything I’ve encountered at a business before. We’re not rude people. We just had a car full of hungry kids and had already bought our own food before entering. We’ll eat in the car somewhere else the next time. RUDE and not family friendly.
The kids loved it! However, the carpet was nasty, kids socks were disgusting, several attractions were nonfunctional. Several games were not working, not giving tickets, or just took tokens and didnt work.
My kids had a blast, really wore them selves out and just had incredible time, its a great family place, good clean healthy fun
Great place for kids to get out their energy. Lots of different inflatables.
Had our first and last experience at the bounce house in Richmond today. I took my 3 yr old son, 4 yr old nephew and 9 year old niece. I did get online and look at all the pictures; and it seemed like a nice place. Upon entering I noticed There were no arm bands- no way to identify what child was with whom. Later when I went up to get a bottle of water,I ask the girl at the desk ; if they stopped everyone before they exited the building. Her response was no; there lawyer had advised them not do that.I do not understand that. I also noticed several times- there were no one behind the counter which is right beside the door that patrons enter and exit. This gave me an uncomfortable feeling from the start- then to add to that it, seemed to be about 90 degrees in there. Not a positive experience at all. I would have gladly left 15minutes after getting there; however I did not want to disappoint the kids. When we did leave. We walked right out. No one looking, or checking etc. I admit I am a overprotective mother. But this just seems to be a nightmare waiting to happen. People are crazy in this world.
Richmond does not have many indoor activities for small kiddos. My son is 2 and on rainy days and cold weeks where we can’t go outside the Bounce House is perfect! He loves it!
Came in last year and spent 15 minutes before a large church group came in and injured my daughter. Was issued a refund in the form of 2 free passes. Tried to redeem today and was told, though there was NO expiration date, that they would not take the cards. I was lied to that they were over 18 months old when I know they are not. Will not return. The place isnt very clean, isnt maintained, and to beat it all refuses to honor their passes that they issued instead of a cash refund. Essentially they stole my money.
My family really enjoys going to the bounce house very friendly environment
Always fun for the kids, several games out of order, but thats usual here.Enough bounce structures that theres plenty to do any way. Staff friendly and patient
A little high prices on the games, but the kids really enjoy it.
A petri dish of pure childhood fun!
A little pricey for what you get. They dont keep there token games working. Always have a few not working. Dont keep up on repairs.
The bounce house is ran very poorly, too bad the one place in Richmond for kids is such a disappointment. For $21(price of 2 kids) I would expect more updated inflatables (not duct taped over holes) and arcade games that actually work.
Fair price. My daughter loves playing here.
Great, great, great. Easy on the wallet and fun.
Good place for youg kids .just let them go they have fun..
Yesterday was my daughters birthday party at the Bounce House. We got there at 3:15pm when the party was at 3:30pm. We had a banner to put up and wanted to be there early in case guests came early. The partyroom door was shut so we just sat outside the room waiting. The hostess waited until 5-10 mins before the party to mop, and she mopped with DIRTY water. No wet floor signs. The room reaked to high heaven. We waited 5 more minutes to let the floor dry, and mostly it was dry (but sticky!) because we had some guests arriving as it was only 5mins before the party was scheduled to begin. The kids were excited and running around the partyroom, and in the corner of the room was a big PUDDLE and my other 2 children (8yr old and 20 month old) slid in it, both landing on their backs and hitting the backs of their heads on the hard tiles). Hostess was extremely unconcerned & sarcastic, telling us Well, I warned you it was wet. Well, if she hadnt waited til 5-10 mins before our party to mop the room it wouldve already dried. And not stunk. Which she claimed she mopped with bleach water... Dont think clean bleach leaves black marks on a brand new shirt. No incident report made on the kids falling and getting hurt on the wet floors. The hostess never once entered the room I rented. Was supposed to have unlimited drink pitchers, she never once came and refilled them. When my oldest daughter had her party a few years ago at the Bounce House, a hostess stayed the whole time in the room, serving, refilling drink pitchers, etc. Most of the game machines were turned off or had out of order signs on them. Definitely do not feel like I got my moneys worth for renting for her party. Very unhappy with our experience, and seriously doubt we will be having any more parties there. Waste of time and money.
The inflatables are good. Avoid the arcade games. Half of them dont work, are poorly set up, or are mislabeled (i.e. cost more than labeled). Really aggravating to have to ask for help/token refunds multiple times.
Wyatt and I have visited Bounce House in Richmond twice and we love it! Its not the cleanest place, but he has a blast!
Kid friendly entertainment spot. Bouncing castles, pizza and fun.
Great place for children and parents to enjoy and relax
First experience there was terrible. They should have an area for younger children and an area for 10 to 12 year olds. Having 12 year olds in the same area as my 5 year old is insane. She was knocked down by older kids several times and had them cutting in front of her. I know, parents are to blame a lot of times. Even though their website says that staff monitors the place, thats ridiculous and not true. Its an over all waste of money. I wont be taking my children back here. We lost money on a lot of the arcade games as well because they didnt work. My 10 year old won over 100 tickets and got a piece of gum and plastic bracelets as a prize that we had to wait 20 minutes for because no one would come to the counter. Not a very pleasant staff either.
I will never go again.the staff was Rude and over Half the games was out of order.they dont have much for young. Kid to day.my kids didnt. Like it they are 2 and 3
Great fun for kids and adults. Lots of inflatables, games, and concessions.
This place is a COMPLETE waste of time and money!!! It costs $11to play on inflatables! That is understandable. The service and the arecade games are a total scam! I put $3 in a variety of games and ALL of them were broken! So, I went to the counter to get my refund. Maybe they didnt like me telling them the truth that all of their games were junk. Regardless, they didnt refund my money. Needless to say I will NOT be going back! EVER!!
Love the Bounce House....Richmond needs more places like this.....games are too high and prizes are way tp small for the amount of tickets they cost..,.but besides that we love it
Very good place to take the kids. they really have a good time!
Good place to take the youngins
My kids & I always have so much fun. Everything is pretty pricey though.
We bring three children in to the bounce house and pay over 30$ only to find out that 12 out of 16 game machines and coin counters are broken. The air hockey table doesnt even have a real puck to go with it. This was a waste of money. The staff shouldve warned us prior to paying. The prize desk is empty so kids cant even get what they wanted even if the machines worked. This place every looks more like a dump then a place for children to play. Very disappointed with there care of the place and customers.
Great option for rainy days
Kids love it, and is a good place for birthday parties. Avoid the arcade games, as they waste money, like any arcades.
Great fun for the kids
Great place to let the little ones unwind!
The kids like it. Thats what matters. Right?
Inflatables are good for the kids, games are disappointing but a good alternative for an hour rather than driving to Lexington.
Great place for young kids
Lots of stuff broken
The workers are very rude and hateful.. they are not kid friendly never coming back
Place is run down not what it use to be!
My kids fav
Overpriced any many games not functional
Lots of stuff for kids to do.
Half the games are broken, the VENDING MACHINE was broken, everything was overpriced, and we only went because half the family got confused where we were going.
Awesome place..
Great
Daughter loves it here.
Dirty, my kids hands were black from the dirt-went yesterday--5 games were broken--ultra rude staff-avoid then scam
Many of the games were out of order or not plugged in, and the customer service left something to be desired. Not a pleasant first experience.
This place is the bargain of the century take your kids here now.
