Great spot to visit and take pictures.

Nice Place for Pictures..it was about to snow a little on February though. We are from Los Angeles, and this weather was really cold for us.... Lol

This is definitely a fantastic architectural design. Replacing the original bridge due to the age and safety factors. It is a great photo shoot opportunity over looking the Truckee river. One of a few along Virginia Street going towards the downtown area and the iconic Biggest Little City neon sign.

Cool sculpture. Unable to walk the lower Riverwalk as the water was very high! (month of May)

Its a bridge over a creek, a fairly new one as well. The good points are the fact that this particular bridge is located just south of downtown Reno; it is directly adjacent to believe park, which has a few impressive peices of artwork.

Nice open public space in the city. Refreshing after all the casinos.

Well the new bridge is in place unfortunately Virginia street is closed shortly passed the bridge still on a years long project. Reno is not known for expediency in road repairs it took a few years for them to get the new bridge in. Actually in 45 years Im not sure theyve ever had all the roads open. Always tearing something up then not having enough money to get it back together takes around 5 years of budget cycles to get the funds to reopen roads.

Wide sidewalks on both sides to view the river and plaza. Closed for events from time to time.

It is a beautiful bridge the city built.

There is now a casino here that does not allow gaming I guess you would call that a hotel but its kind of odd sitting in the middle of the city

Always go to bridge on lunch to cool down and listen to the water flow by.
