Great last night ! 7 people in my movie. No line for the popcorn ( Wich was only 5 bucks for a large) yippee.

The location of this theater is my favorite thing about it. Its great to show up early and walk along the Truckee River before your show. Its a lot better in the actual theaters since they upgraded the seats! Im not super happy with the assigned seating that they recently put into place but I get the reasoning behind it...

Pretty good as movie theaters go. Dont like reserved seating though. And the ads are getting crazy. Over 20 minutes of ads and trailers after listed show time. Dryers waffle cone is a great option for snack!

Nice family friendly theater. The staff was kind and friendly. The theater was clean - I didnt use the bathroom, but didnt hear complaints from those in my party who did. The theater was not overly crowded, even on a holiday discount Tuesday and we didnt have to reserve seats (and pay the extra fee) online even for the popular recent release we saw. The location next to the parking garage and river was nice and convenient. Parking validation was part of our ticket purchase and totally easy. We had a great time.

This is a clean and very nicely cared for property, this is one of the best kept movie theater I have seen across the nation .

Love the movie theater. Just wish the times for movies on the website matched the real time they start. Twice I have gone and twice now the start time do not match. Had to leave to go tomorrow, to the right time!!!!

Great local movie theater. Remember if you go here to park in the garage on the north side of W 1st Street. They will validate youre parking.

The theater was clean, wait for a ticket took longer than it should. Staff was good tho, no complaints, quality movie experience. Other theatres hot better seats but they werent bad.

We saw Frozen 2 last weekend. They have all new chairs in theater 11! Rocking type chairs. First time I was comfortable in a theater (except recliner theater chairs. Those are great too).

We like this place. large comfy seating, good sized screen, friendly staff, great matinee price, very accessible, no odors. even the restrooms are wheelchair scooter walker friendly. would have rated all 5 stars but the popcorn had several spots throughout the bag that tasted very off.

Awesome small and quite movie theater. Its almost a bit of a hole in the wall because of where its located. But its a great place to be. Its clean, the seats are nice and the picture is always high quality. I love coming here.

Downtown location.. Right by Riverwalk and nice upscale dining places. walking distance to the casinos. Recently updated seating and best part is its reserved, so if you are finicky about your seat location and availability like me, this is one gives u an option. Free parking for 5 hrs at the parking garage next block with your ticket. Only downside is its old style long narrow theaters, so I tend to go there if my movie is playing in the only wide screen there (10 I guess)

Watching a movie in a theater is a favorite pastime of mine, but the ability to stream movies at home has hindered my movie-going habit. So nowadays, I only go to the movies when theres a must see movie for me and on this occasion it was Aquaman starring Jason Momoa.And when do go to a movie, this is my theater of choice. There is ample parking nearby (on the street or in the parking garage), the theaters are clean, staff is friendly and the latest and newest movies are usually shown here. Importantly, its rarely crowded to the point where I feel a tad bit claustrophobic.

Went to see Ad Astra. Viewing was in theatre #1. There was a dead pixel on the screen. Think about that. Watching a movie about space with a random white for on the screen. Why is that one star moving. Completely ruined any immersion.Seats were uncomfortable.Mens bathroom and was kind of gross.The staff was super friendly and pleasant which is the reason for the second star in my review.

It was decent.. not the newest place on the street but the theater was decent and the lobby was clean, well stocked and the staff was courteous. Would return for another movie here for sure. The selection of movies was limited but all the latest ones were playing. Not too busy for a Saturday night and the sound quality and video quality experience was a 7 out of 10

Great place to see a movie. Dolittle was a youngster 5-20yr old crowd pleaser. Nice place to see a matinee and then take a river walk.

Nice theater. Friendly staff, clean and the best part is tickets are only $5! The movies are first run. The location is right downtown with free parking in the parking garage directly across from the theater. Lots of dining choices in the area and the Truckee river walk is right outside the door.

Ive always like this theatre. It is in a beautiful location, and everyone Ive gone here it is not packed full of people. The only downside to this theatre is trying to find a parking place nearby.

Decent theatre but its not my favorite in town. A lot of the show rooms have pretty small screens in comparison to other theaters in town, especially if the movie has been out for a while already or isnt one of the main Blockbusters at the time you may end up watching it in one of the small showing rooms. The last time I was there they still didnt show to to pick your seats before going in so you cant get an idea how full it is or that there will be enough seats next to each other to sit with a group. Other than that its a pretty typical theatre experience but I much prefer the summit theatre or the IMAX.

I love this theater! I like that it sometimes shows indie films that often are not shown in other nearby theaters. Great selection of concessions. Parking is in a nearby pay garage but its free for moviegoers, so be sure to save a movie ticket to show to the exit attendant. The only reason I didnt give this theater five stars is that the seats could be a little more comfortable.

Seats are a tad weird to me, but everything else was great.

This is definitely not the best theater in town. The seats are old and not comfy, small movie screens, and the mens bathroom was just disgusting. And the room to leave the theater out the side was one of the worst smelling places ever.It is in a nice location downtown if you can avoid all the homeless people. Cheap tickets for college students as well. Id much rather go to century in summit mall or the galaxy theater in legends over this theater any day.

Theaters are really clean and chairs are comfortable. The customer service crew are outstanding. On two separate occasions, I left some important papers and a pair of prescription sunglasses. Both times they found them and I was able to retrieve them, once it was 5 days later. As usual, the popcorn and drinks cost an arm and a leg, but you can find deals for them if your a member of Cinamarks online program.

My son and me came to see Bad Boys for Life tonight for 7:30 pm showing. We have a all year round cup that we ALWAYS use at Parklane 16 made the mistake of coming here and they do NOT honor the cup at this theater. The seats are not as comfortable as Parklane either. Its not the IMAX seats just the regular seats and does not have Dr. Pepper either. We have been going to Parklane 16 for awhile because its many more showings of the movies. Riverside 12 has lost 2 very good customers.

My daughter and I enjoyed a night out at this wonderful place that you can sit down watch movies and the seats are spacious. Popcorn was nice an buttery. And my daughter got to pick out her own kids meal by adding popcorn and she was flabbergasted about that! Thanks so much for a wonderful evening watching two of your exciting movies The Grinch and Mary Poppins returns.

The staff is real nice, but the theater pails in comparison to the local Legends theater. However, the cheap ticket prices and comfortable seating makes this definitely worth it. Bordering the river gives a nice place to hang out and enjoy the view before and after your film.

Usually this theater is really good and friendly. But the girl who was working the popcorn just seemed like she hated her job and was just rude and very unprofessional. If you dont like your job then quit. Asked her if they have any boxes or anything for sharing and all attitude we got bags worst experience. Will not be back to this location

Conviently downtown by the river. Comfy seats with great employees that work here. I like that its downtown with easy access to the eateries or bars afterwards.

I love this theater because its right on the river and I can walk to it. I also have disabled clients that I take here a lot, and theyre always very accommodating and thoughtful! They validate parking at the Silver Peak parking structure right behind it on the corner of 1st and Sierra.

The employees are friendly and respectful, the only issue I have is that there is not enough people to clean the restroom the womens bathroom needs a lot of work. Besides that I love the place.

Cheap matinee movies for 5$ with free parking at nearby garage make it a great location thats usually quiet

We can walk to this theater in about 5 minutes. Its clean and we can always find seating. There are a number if restaurants around where we can have a nice dinner and then go to the movies. Lovely area right on the Truckee.

The theatre has a bag policy not outlined on their website, so naturally if you buy a ticket online and show up with a bag not matching a rule you have no way to know of, youre refused access. Not great, gang.

I really like this theater, theres a parking garage just to the north, make sure to save your movie ticket so itll be free. They dont serve adult beverages at this time, theyve been trying to get a liquor license, theyre hoping to get one by summer.

Good spot to having a theater in downtown, but the screen of the movie that I watched was to small for the price I paid.

Great location. Parking garage is free with validation. Movie theater is nice. Most often we go here because the times seem to match best with our schedule. After the movie you can take a nice stroll down river walk.

We can see movies here for half the price that it would have been at Ledgends. Great staff, clean restrooms and theater. Its a short walk from the parking structure, which is free to park in with your ticket stub as voucher. My only issue is small: the theaters have always been very cold so I always bring a sweatshirt.

The customer service wasnt great. The seats were extremely uncomfortable if the person in front of you is leaned back you cant get to your seat. It was $5 Tuesday, so it was cool to not spend a bunch, but Id rather spend more and have an updated building.

We watched a 3D movie here. The theater was very clean, the staff were helpful and accommodating, and the volume wasnt too loud in the theater. We loved the photos of past movie stars in the hallway, and we were really impressed with the concession stand. Merch as well as snacks.

This is my reno theatre i go here when ever i can awsome location its around everything so i could eat drink and have fun before my movie then its also on the river so when i leave i see the river so thats cool

I like this theater and is usually the one I prefer to go to. They really need to work on cleaning it better though - Ive been here other times when it was in better shape, but apparently 11:30am on a Tuesday is pretty lax with sticky floors, popcorn on the floor, etc. Popcorn is always good though

For those who live in and around the downtown area. This theatre is convenient and has free parking with ticket stub.Matinee pricing for the budget minded. It is also not very busy because of its location. Good for those who dont care for big crowds.

Fine as usual. The validated parking nearby is generous enough to cover a downtown dinner-and-movie date. Also, dont miss the Cooper-Gaga take on A Star Is Born. It reeks of Multiple Oscars.

The ticket prices are fantastic, concessions are standard for the chain (with all the typical deals applicable here too), and the staff are generally all pretty amazing and friendly. Even the theater itself is nice-looking, well-maintained, and always seems to be quite clean with good attention paid to keeping it that way. Plus, this is the local theater that seemingly always plays the limited-release films that the others dont. Downsides include the longer and narrower auditoriums, the fact that they have not been renovated for the nice seats and assigned seating (though I do readily acknowledge this as a primary reason that their prices are among the lowest in the area for a first-run selection of films, like Park Lane), and a somewhat terrible and tricky to access location. They do partner with the nearby parking garage to make it much easier, but its definitely not a theater to visit if downtown driving or easy accessibility are concerns. Still though, if you can readily get there, its a pretty decent place to watch a new release movie at a bargain price, with the bonus of a nice river walk just outside.

A nice downtown theater that shows both mainstream and indie movies. They have a nice deal with a nearby parking garage that gets you free parking for your film plus enough additional time (4 hours total) to enjoy a bite at one of the fine local eateries-- or a walk along the Truckee river.

Kind of a retro looking cinema, but i good experience there

One of the easier theaters planted on a beautiful river set in smack downtown Reno area. Its beautiful and an awesome way to spend a night with a significant other. Movie and river walk. Cant go wrong there.

I have a lot of time spent in this theatre. It is clean and always a great experience that I am now able to share with my own family. I grew up going to this theatre and I would recommend anyone to have a great time here!
