Century Park Lane Reno - Great theater location. Construction makes parking a bit challenging but theres plenty out back. The staff was polite and courteous and the theater was very clean. The seats are very comfortable. Our movie started a bit late due to technical issues and some nasty dude had his shoes off! So Gross.Overall. It was a great experience.
The customer service was great. From buying tickets and the snack bar. I was well pleased with the service and prices.Well movie was good the ending could have been better. However the ads were 30mins to long, so sad. It was also soooooo very cold.
Theaters were clean and seats were very well spaced. You can purchase tickets at the box office or online. Concessions does not accept cash so if that is your payment method for snacks, purchase a gift card at the box office upon entry to make the most of your time.
It was great to go out as a family and watch a movie together. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean.
You wait 5 months to be able to go back to the movies and they cant even bring out anything interesting
The staff were friendly and called someone to help set up a closed cation device to watch the movie. We went in the morning, so it was clean and quiet before the big crowds. At this time there is construction around the site. When all is complete, it will be an even nicer area, perhaps.
Hidden gem of a theater. While everyone is booking tickets with assigned seats, head over here. $5 matinees, tickets are easy, and there is plenty of seating to be able to get a great view. The theater is clean, employees are friendly, and every thing is clean. My kids love the fancy soda machine.Dont be scared off by the construction. There is plenty of parking in the back.
I have been coming here a lot recently!! It is absolutely great, however parking was horrible it was made up with the staff at the theater! Every time I go in everyone greets me and my hubby very nicely. There was a man when I went earlier and he had luggage and, I think her name was Anna, politely and very nicely told the man because of safety concerns he could not come into the theater which I think is because of safety concerns and things like that. I also saw a poster and I feel like I see it every time about no luggage so she was following her rules. And then the man was very rude and he expressed his anger towards her instead of the company rules(which I think is very plausible to have the rule because of the Colorado shooting and with Joker out). She expressed that she was sorry and apologized nicely for the inconvenience. Then he stormed off. And I think she did a great job handling herself very professional. Then I went into concessions and I was Greeted very nicely by I’m assuming another manager, tall and had a blue shirt on and brownish blackish hair and because he wasn’t wearing the black shirt that other employees were wearing. He was very nice and suggested a combo and then I checked out with Robert who made me smile with a great joke and went into my very clean theater house and I was done. Every time I come in here I am always treated so nicely and I’m sure nobody will read this but they are a really good theater to go to.
Love it prices to see movie were great. Food court is really expensive though. Almost $6 for a hotdog. We ended up just getting popcorn and drink and that was still $20. It was only myself and 2 of my kids. I dont know if we could take our whole family of 8 at one time.
Good not great. Fits the bill.
Difficult to figure where the entrance is. Prices are great! Seats are very uncomfortable. The sound system for the movie we saw was great. The thing that bugged me the most....25 minutes of TV type commercials before the main feature!!! What the heck!?! If we had known that we would have arrived later. We can watch commercials on tv at home and we can mute them!!! Didnt pay to watch commercials...we wanted to see the movie.
Older theater. Great for those last minute movie watchers because they don’t have reserved seating. Cheaper prices than other theaters in town but located in a seedy part of town
Had to wait in the cold for tickets, concessions is confusing and basically self service but still have to pay for price. (Shouldnt have a different rate for concessions when your wading through the mess of peoples spilled items and sticky equipment at 10pm) seats were uncomfortable and made hard to enjoy the movie. Not only that but you practically have to walk through a construction site to even get to the ticket window. Very subpar experience. Would not return or recommend.
Great food, decent prices, and friendly staff! They even gave us free passes after they had mistakenly given us passes for a movie that was already half over! Great experience overall!
Still a great theatre despite the construction. Like that they dont have the reserved seating BS. I prefer first come first served and paying less!
The best thing about this theater presently is the fact that you can see a movie, if you go in the afternoon, for five bucks a ticket. The shopping center around it is being completely rebuilt, so the theater has dropped prices in order to get people through the door. Also, it will soon be rehabbed itself with the reclining seats like other theatres in town, so theyre trying to keep up the clienteles interest so we will come back when thats done. Plenty of screens here, so they usually have several first-run films on the menu.
I watched Spies in Disguise here with family and enjoyed it very well in this theatre complex. Very comfortable and pleasant movie viewing.
The cashier took are money for the movies. However she didnt let us know that we can purchase a gift card for the snack bar. So my kids had to watch the movie with out any snacks
Nice staff and good place to watch movies but the only thing i dont like is the arcade
Such fun to come here. Staff is so happy to welcome you
Construction all around makes this very difficult to get into, especially if you have any sort of limitations or disabilities. Food fare seemed spot on. Some theaters still have old upright seats. Any more, movies that are being shown in these seats are usually on the last week and should be discounted
As far as movie theaters go these days, Parklane is bottom rung. Their sardine seats are uncomfortable as can be with no space for anything other than sitting straight up with your hands in your lap, and the aisles are so small youre in about seven strangers laps if you try to walk down them. Outside of that, their restrooms are a nightmare of gaps between walls and doors, doors that dont latch because theyre misaligned, and generally everything people hate about public restrooms. The only not disappointing part of this theater is the concessions area, and even that takes a customary hit because buying anything is the equivalent of buying 1-4 more movie tickets. If youre in Reno, I believe literally any other theater would be an improvement over this one.
I liked that the theater wasnt assigned seating. The staff was very attentive and helpful! Great overall experience. Not five star as the seats and parking were not as good as some of the other theaters in town.
The only problem was during all the construction in the area and not knowing the area especially at night, it was harder to find the parking lot. There needs to be signs with reflective material or something that stands out when headlights makes contact with the signs indicating that a person is in the theaters parking lot in the back of the building.
Nice, clean theater. Employees were professional and helpful finding things. Parking was a little confusing and you cant see the entrance from the lot. I wasnt sure I was at the correct location at first. You have to walk around the building from what appears to be the front.
For me the best place to go watch a movie is Century Park Lane everybody always asks me what do I want for my birthday or for my Christmas present or whatever I always tell them gift cards for Century Park Lane
This is pretty much the only movie theater we go to in town. They are really doing a lot to change for the better. The employees are noticeably more friendly than they have been in the past & are doing a better job of keeping things clean IMHO. Keep up the good work. My only issue- they dont have hot tamales! Lol!
Staff are friendly and helpful. I bring disabled clients on a regular basis, and theyre always patient and kind to us. The only problem is that the entrance is far from the parking lot requiring about 15 minutes of extra walking time for my clients. Other than that, this is a great theater, and is the one I most often choose.
Cool cashier, helpful staff. Enjoyed the show.
Airplane level seating but the movies are good and the popcorn is always fresh
My favorite movie theater in town! Friendly staff, great arcade, photo booths, and large selection of showing times and refreshments :)
I took my daughter to see Frozen 2. She kept telling me to be quiet as she was trying to watch the movie. She then stole my pizza and somehow convinced me it was my fault. Its a really good movie btw. #thatsmeonthevocals
I’ve grown up going to this theater. They have good customer service and they’re a little outdated but they’re trying to remodel as soon as the construction is over. They have fair prices especially with the construction going on. The theaters are always clean too.
Its awesome. Reasonable rates, really nice.
$5 movie night on Tuesdays. Its also $5 with a student ID any day. Staff is friendly and theater is clean. They have one of those soda machines where you can make your selection from a wide variety of sodas and add a fruit or vanilla flavor to them. Theres plenty of parking and the facility is wheelchair accessible and they sell merchandise near the ticket booth.
Hopefully construction will end soon! Theater itself is great, parking, not so much!Ford vs Ferrari was with the effort as compared to the other choices.
So Rocket Man, with my honey bunny. And this was the first movie I really enjoyed in a long time. Always love going here they have great popcorn and nice theaters
Spacious and clean. Easy to get around in. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and comfortable seating. Large selection of snacks and reaonable pricing. Staff friendly and very helpful. Easily traversed with large aisles. Clean and well stocked restrooms with large disabled stalls.
USUALLY WE GET GOOD SEATS. THE THEATER SEEMS TO B VERY COLD. I ALWAYS BRING A JACKET! BUT ITS NEAR MY HOUSE N THE PRICES R GREAT! WILL B GOING BACK, IF THEY TURN THE HEATER UP.
Great movies popcorn doesnt taste good
I enjoy watching movies, I would come here because I liked coming everything was good until the other day I went with my significant other. Everyone including the manager had the biggest attitude and everyone was so rude. Honestly we were let down. Worse of all when we bought a ticket for a movie which the movie was already 30 minutes in playing and they didn’t let us know and they were mad we asked for a refund. I don’t know the reason but it looked like they were being rude specially to us two. Not sure if it’s because we’re a lesbian couple or what but with everyone else they were pretty friendly...
Nice theater. Good prices
Cant beat a great place cheap place to go enjoy a good movie well kept as well as friendly staff keep up great work n thanks for the great work u all
I love the movie theater. This place is clean, the employees are friendly.
Staff was very nice. Hopefully the new recliner chairs arrive by December 20th they looked really comfortable
Best movie prices in town! Never over crowded.
It is a bit out of the way for us but is nice enough and they have snacks for the kids (and adults). No reservations are required which saves money. Seating is comfortable.
I always come here to wat h movies good prices in the matinee shows .
Comfort seats, staff is nice and low prices
Went to see Avengers: End Game, and the house was very clean, the acoustics are right on par, the concessions are fresh and delicious, the staff are very friendly! Weve always loved Park Lane Theatres.
Good theater it just needs the new seats.
This was our familys first time watching a movie here. It was the first time my kids had ever been to a movie theater...the kids were excited! It was fun and great price!
Great prices, great service, great snacks and clean.
A kinda shady location but a great cinema
Cant wait for them to finish the construction around here and to finally renovate this theater.
Clean quiet great sound and Beer!
Pros: Less expensive tickets, Tuesday bargains, centrally-located, sizeable property, multiple screens, rich selection of concessions including alcoholCons: Rough around the edges, outdoor box office, stratospheric concession prices, dated seats, flimsy armrests, no recliners, dirty restrooms
I THOUGHT NICE SAW DORA MOVIE WAS LONG MOVIE BUT GIVE MOVIE 6 NOT. BAD AT ALL MY GG DAUGHTER LIKED SO GREAT 4 OUTING WITH BOTH OF US
Its always packed but its great
Comfy seats, good customer service wrt food. Basically my local theatre of choice. I just wish there was either parking in front of the front of the theatre or another entrance on the other side.
I had a good time. The ugh have good deals for snacks. Enjoyed the movie. The parking lot is under construction and the walking is annoying but they made up for it. I got home and couldnt find my phone. Drove back to the theater and they were very cautious before giving ne my phone. Im grateful for that. I left it outside when i bought my ticket. 5 stars once the parking lots done.
This is a great place to go to the movies!
Love to watch movies. And is great. Love the popcorn
It wasnt bad, but why havent they moved the ticket booth indoors yet? What idiot runs this place that hasnt thought of their customers comfort in the freezing cold. Yeah, you thought to keep your employees warm in their ticket booth, but to heck with your paying customers! Taking my experience back to Galaxy theaters. They have their ticket booth inside away from the elements (heat and cold)!
Staff is nice, but place is not the best!
My family loves to visit here. The popcorn has always been fresh and employees friendly.
Went to see bad boys for life with my wife
Great theater...clean, good prices, and helpful staff.
The theater isnt all that bad. Bathrooms and lobby are clean. The matinee tickets are really $5. We didnt have a problem finding decent parking. So overall, it was a positive experience.
Great prices for matinee 5 Dollars
My most recent visit reminded me why I stopped going to the movies. The parking lot here is horrible (get there early because who knows where youll end up parking). 15 minutes of trailers before the movie started, plus infinite ads before the movie start time. So, youre paying for the movie with your wallet and then you continue to pay with your time. People were talking all around us during the movie (not the theaters fault, but a big annoyance nonetheless). My kids dont mind the experience, but for me its just awful.
$5 matinee. Awesome
Went to see Downton abbey it was great! And only 5.00 for matinees
Little bit of construction going on out front so you have to park around back and walk around to get in.I wish they had an entrance on the east side of the building, but not really that big of a deal except in the rain or snow. The inside is pretty much what youd expect from a newer movie theater and the staff seemed pretty friendly and helpful.
Theater is fine, but only if you can manage to navigate the construction zone that serves as an effective barrier to the public. Might be wise to arrive 10 minutes early to allow for a long walk.
Great prices good popcorn.
Nice employees. I have a slight disability and they have been very helpful.. Popcorn is addictive
Needs upgraded seating and louder volume other than that very reasonable pricing.
When the 5 year old left behind her toy purse, the morning lady went out of her way to try and find it, even being the next day. Good show. Great customer service.
Love it especially with the beer and food stand
Not all theatres have recliner seating, and the computers are outdated and crash sometimes before and during the movie.Besides that, however, great prices, great temps, and really beautiful on the inside. It needs technological advancement badly, as the windows were probably using Windows XP from what I could see on the crash screen.Still, 4/5 because I dont enjoy giving lower than 4.
The price is alright. We like to take our granddaughters to see whatever show they would like (within reason, of course). Its clean, for a movie theatre. Its usually easy to get in and park, but with the construction its pretty messed up. Good place over all.
Nice place to c good movies
It was an overall good experience but popcorn was bland
Chairs a bit old and lumpy but its inexpensive and the movie was good.
Always clean, staff is friendly all around I love this theatertake my grandson there all the time
This is a great theater. $5 before 6:00 p.m. is the ticket price, you just cant beat it! the seating need to be redone and it is in their plan to do so. Hopefully they keep the same pricing after they read vamp the seating
Great location, great all around. Best popcorn also.
Ive been using this place for years lot of new construction going on once its done itll be much easier place to access
I have been going to this theater for decades. They still offer comfortable seating and reasonable prices.
Jumanji the next level was good
Good service and clean. Will be better once they get the good seating.
Parking is really bad. Theres construction in front of the theater so the old parking is gone and the only parking is the small area on the side and a larger area in back of the theater. Only minimum handicap parking on the side and a ways to walk to get to the front entrance.Seats are in desperate need of an up grade.
Park lane is one of the best movie theaters in town. The staff is usually friendly and the prices are fair. Parking has become difficult because of the new construction but that is not in their control. Just be prepared that you might have to park on the street and walk to the entrance. Overall the movie theater has nice seats and I have always enjoyed the movies watched there.
