The help and cooperation that we had from the very pleasant woman working the front desk when we arrived was above and beyond her work duty. I just wish she could have taken the tip we wanted to give her. The suite we got was clean and amazing and the couple thousand dollars I made from the slot machines was greatly appreciated! Every employee we had contact with was pleasant, educated, and very willing to help. Cant wait to come and visit again!

Booked in for the night to celebrate our anniversary and got upgraded to a better suite. Couldnt be happier with the room and service. Came during Covid so not everything is open but enough is open that were having a good time. The room and view is amazing. The room is a little outdated, to be honest, but it is spotless and well kept and that matters more to me. Will definitely be back next time were in Reno.

It all began when we pulled up to Valet parking which was closed. We saw the sign that indicated Valet was closed but we were going to check in, drop off our luggage and then move the vehicle which was parked along the curb. An employee approached us and rudely said, hey there is no valet and what...you think you can just park your car where ever you feel like??? Thats how they treat their guests apparently. On to the room and the rest of our stay. The hotel room for the price was horrible. There was still crumbs on the floor from who ever stayed there before, the room features were really old, beds uncomfortable, pillows hard as a rock! The doors are thin and do not give you a safe feeling. I think the door knobs are original from the original build! Nothing fancy by any means probably would have done better at Motel 6....Everything is pretty much still closed, the restaurant choices are slim, no Buffets are open there. The gaming tables are ridiculous..... lowest I found was $15 min for black jack and $25 min for craps!!! This was during the day! The $15 min goes away and right back to $25! There was only ONE $15 min table available and there was plenty of people waiting to get on that table (only 3 people allowed at a table at a time) It was so boring and just DEAD! Not once did I see anyone cleaning/wiping down surfaces due to COVID-19We left for dinner found that the Atlantis had buffet open! That buffet was amazing (steak/seafood night) They had it together over there, temperature taken at the door, very nice employees, people having fun, it was how it should be! They had more slots available it was clean (I saw employees cleaning and wiping down the slot machines) They had the plexiglass partitions up on the game tables and slots.Wish we would have stayed there.........

The hotel was affordable however the room was awful. The room was more humid then a summer in florida. The three nights we stayed there we may as well have slept in a bed full of wet napkins. Every time wed walk into the room it was stuffy. There was black mold on the ceiling of the shower. Positives are the free parking, water pressure in the shower, and the convenience of being downtown. I dont think it is worth the stay if you get a room as terrible as mine. It was definitely not a deluxe experience. The staff was nice as well.

Rooms were old, beds were springy and not comfortable, no hot tubs, casino was stingy with money, minimum bets for blackjack were $25, digital machines didnt pay out much or provide false wins like other casinos I have been to. Staff were rude in the casino in regards to watching friends play at table. There are better hotels and casinos out there. I would choose elsewhere for the price. Even a shady motel would be better value for your money.

We stayed in the small players suite with in room jacuzzi. The photos online show a modern shower with bench, false, shower was old, dirty. In order to get to toilet you had to open the bathroom door all the way a squeeze between the door & wall with towel bar, close door to get to toilet. Definitely not ADA approved. The configuration is HORRIBLE. It was difficult & dangerous to get into the jacuzzi tub, there are no steps & slippery when wet. Furniture was outdated. When you think of players suite, this is NOT what you think. Photos are false, misleading.

Dissatisfied with the visit at this hotel. Stains on the bedding in the first room and it smelled like strong air freshener, was given another room and the smell was still there. In the morning the maid service cleaning others room was so loud. Come on really, we paid good money and deserve to relax while our stay. Had to walk to other casinos to get dinner. I understand the whole covid thing going but you should be able to get dinner in a better way. Next time not be staying here, will be going to a different hotel. The owner sent me a message asking for my information to contact me about the issues that I had with our stay and never responded. Just shows that they dont care about their customers. It was a getaway for my Birthday and they stay in this hotel was horrible. Like I said before I was unsatisfied with this hotel. Now that they never contacted me made it even worse. If I could I would give them a 0 star. Weve stayed hotels and never was this unsatisfied.

Not the best trip to Reno. We got in late due to some car troubles and when we got there the computers were down and they didnt have record of us making a reservation. We had booked for a non smoking large players suite. The guy at the counter was very helpful given the situation (normally he is in accounting but got put at the front desk that evening). After playing musical rooms till 3 in the morning we ended up with a smoking room and headaches. We spoke with someone at the front desk the next day when their computers were back up and running. They did make everything right with our stay and everyone (Rick and Taylor) all very helpful and apologetic.

I wish I had more time to experience Reno as a tourist, but I was here for work, so I mostly just slept in the room. However, I will leave my honest review of my room at the Eldorado Resort Casino. When I first got there I tried to self park, but I was driving a Ford Expedition and it seemed as if the spaces were designed for compact cars so I did valet parking. It’s free with the room and it should be, due to the $68.00 resort fee and no free breakfast. Also, those guys parking cars live off tips, so bring some cash for tipping. My room was clean, but it seemed out dated. There wasn’t enough outlets to plug in my laptop, my 2 cell phones, or any other devices. It had a fridge but no microwave. The bathroom was clean, but the shower must have been designed for a little person. I’m tall, but the shower head was ridiculously low. I had to bend down so I could take a shower. Also, If you want views of Reno, don’t request room 333, lol, That didn’t matter much to me, but just an FYI. However, the bed was so comfortable. I love soft pillows and a soft bed and they most definitely delivered. I slept well all night. I’m not sure of when I’ll be back to Reno, but I would prefer a newer more modern hotel. But it was cool for the price.

Brought my Gal here for her birthday weekend. Mistake. Upon arrival pulled into valet and waited nearly 20 mins before realizing that despite my attempts to find a valet, bell hop, or even a cart for our luggage that it wasnt going to happen. So I called their main line and asked about the valet. I was informed due to covid there were no valet. So I go to check in at hotel registration where I am greeted by least enthusiastic guest reception Ive ever encountered. I asked if there was a cart to help me get our luggage to our room. He then tells me he will contact valet. Hmmm. Well he couldnt reach the valet, really no surprise to me at this time. What was the surprise is that there was one after I was told in the beginning that no their werent any due to covid. I was able to get all our luggage from the car garage across the street to our room on the 5th floor in 2 trips . We decided to play a little so upon return to the casino, low and behold the valet walks right by me. Here we are in this room and Im not picky but she is and its her birthday and now Im as discouraged as she is . Filthy room and tub. These rags were new. I understand that sometimes things happen but this is my sweethearts birthday. Not to mention Ive spent nearly 500 dollars so far for this room that my wife has been cleaning for 40 mins. Ive read some good reviews on here. Sure wish I was writing one especially on this trip. Super bummed. This post has been up for a couple of weeks now and no response back from the El Dorado. I spent a considerable amount of money there but I guess as a local it isnt very important to try to make things right.

This large Reno hotel casino would get 5 stars if I didn’t feel like I paid through my arse to extend my stay for two nights. But other than that, you pretty much get what you pay for. It seems to have the best reputation as far as the Row hotels go (or any other downtown Reno hotel for that matter). The rooms are pretty new. And some are super, with hot tub (which I didn’t get, even though I mentioned that I just got married 3 days ago..hmmph). Lots of gambling, eating drinking options. Free shuttle (give a tip!) to the airport was wonderful. And the bell-dude who helped us weigh our luggage was super helpful. I always like to stay at the Eldorado hotel when I come to Reno. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is always friendly. It is really convenient that it is connected to Silver Legacy and the Circus Circus hotels also. There is no need to walk outside in the rain or snow they are connected inside. There is a lot of different games to play in the casino located on the bottom floor of each hotel.I would advise to go to the players club and get a card to accumulate comp points. The comp points can be used for free rooms, food, tickets for events, and even at the little convenience shops. There is nothing negative about getting a players card. I have been using it for years and I still hit huge jackpots with my card in the machines. The players card is combined with Silver Legacy and Circus Circus so when you play at either casino you are building up comp points for all three hotels and casinos.I hope this helps and good luck

This was posting done back on 9/15 when the day after honeymoon begun, now it had been edited and completed since the vacation is over...Excellent security on the elevators, got a room basically as soon as we arrived compared to waiting another 5 hours for one.Security needed to be MUCH more active than they were upon proper mask wearing and where people can AND cant smoke, cause there were people smoking where they shouldnt have and right next to no smoking signs and a security booth! Yet security did nothing...Servers could have been much better and faster, taking fewer orders so drinks got to people COLD rather than room temp, even with ice in the glasses that are half melted...Sanitation of machines was fairly good, machines should have errored when someone was done with it and pulled the ticket out or their card so it could be cleaned before the next person; cause if one person is a smoker and the next isnt, where is the safety of knowing that any sickness left behind is mostly cleaned away? Cause the CHAIRS should be cleaned off too, not JUST the machines..Hours of restaurants in the building SHOULD have been posted for all of them, when they are open and on what days; not JUST that they are closed and visit soon..The pool could have been a LOT easier to get to, more that one path up to it would have been good..and the hottub working would have been nice too, despite how warm it already was outside...and no INDOOR pool or hottub didnt help, cause all the smoke and dust and leaves that were in the hottub and other debris...TOO MUCH WORK and wasted resources to keep them clean outside.MUCH MORE handicap parking on the upper levels of the parking garage, cause having like 4 outside on the ground floor isnt enough; even more so if people staying at the hotel are in wheelchairs or have canes of some kind, its a LONG walk from those parking spots to the elevators and then across the sky bridge with our benches or anything for those that HAVE to sit due to medical issues after so long or after so far.The carpets could have been MUCH CLEANER than they were, as people were hitting their ashes onto the carpet..even what is called a cherry, I believe it is called, from a cigarette fell onto the floor and the smoker didnt care. Nearly started a fire since no one put it out...Maps would have been VERY HELPFUL, other than the interactive one that took 5 minutes to shift an area on it and then 5 more minutes to load up THAT area..printed and posted maps showing where one was at would have been quite useful, cause getting tickets from all 3 connected casinos was annoying when thinking that one is still in the first rather than the third casino.Housekeeping really should be putting an empty bag on the door for trash, coffee should be hung from the door or put in front of the door rather than entering the room while said guest, or guests, are in the shower and cant hear them knocking. Cause I was in the shower and didnt hear them knock but hear the squeak of the door and thought that my wife was back, only to get out shortly after that and not see anyone in the room or outside the room and trip over a small bag of coffee supplies! Not a good experience there...And even though the gift of the week had been depleted, SOMETHING was still given to guests and that was good of them. They seemed to get to machines fast that a cash handout was needed to be done due to winnings. And if people dont keep their masks up between drinks or hits on their cigarettes/vaping device, the casinos are most likely going to get shut down permanently due to those that wont follow the SIMPLE rules...next step to keep masks up when not in a restaurant eating: NO SMOKING AT ALL WITHIN ANY OF THE CASINOS.
