Great little casino. It was our first time there. Well definitely visit again on our next trip to Reno. The place is so clean and and the staff were so friendly. They were working constantly cleaning to be in compliance with covid-19 regulations. The restaurant has great food with ample portions.The slots were very generous to us.I wholeheartedly recommend this casino.

Came here to gamble twenty dollars, felt like a milkshake. Couldnt resist sitting down for a meal or stuffed french toast and eggs and toast - totally beyond worth it (see pictures). Meals came out very quickly, server was very pleasant as was floor manager. Dining area was clean and quaint. Music wasnt too loud and a good selection. Great ambience and atmosphere. Will definitely be returning! Left with a full belly, a few extra bucks and, some good laughs!

It was entirely too hot in there. It made breathing with a mask on very uncomfortable. Even the people that worked there said it was too hot.

Slots are pretty loose here and they always have the newest slot machines from IGT. But aside from that, they have an AMAZING steakhouse. The Cactus Creek steakhouse is phenomenal! When I went there I found out they are a prime only steakhouse I was amazed. The generals Ribeye is a must! In my opinion, they are the best prime steakhouse in town for the price and quality of everything. They also have a happy hour at the steakhouse bar from 4 to 6 wed-sun!! Plus the sides are extremely cheap for how delicious everything is. Youll probably find me at the bar have a signature cocktail or craft beer enjoying 4 cheese mac and cheese with asparagus.

The Cactus Creek Steakhouse was amazing. We shared the crab stuffed patrale sole and Generals 20oz Ribeye. Very good service and food cooked to perfection!

Stopped in for breakfast a couple of weeks ago thinking the casinos would be playing it safe. Boy was I right. Its the same old breakfast menu but their Covid-19 procedures are the best Ive seen. No contact, clean menus, condiments served in individual packages, everyone in a mask & face shield. Thank you

Coffee shop. Good good, diversified menu, very nice staff. Clean. Prices- very fair. Would have given the bonanza 5 stars but they need some better ventilation. Coming into the casino from outside, the smell of cigarettes is so strong, its overwhelming.

Nice. Small but a good choice of slot machines. All employees very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. Juan our waiter was outstanding! Will be going back soon.

Love the machines and it is never super packed so can find a good one that can play or pays out.

The Main Bar near the side entrance waters down the poured cocktails something fierce. granted they are free when playing, Id rather not have to take a leak 5x to get a buzz off 6 drinks, especially when your playing 4-8 bucks a hand on average. One of the security guards (Fat guy with a pony tail) patrolling for masks was arguably the most rude person I have ever heard, calling one elderly lady *an axxh0le* because she came in to get her roommates key without a mask. Overall the place isnt a bad spot, but if your looking to go out and gamble, have fun and get drunk....stick to beer or wine, as the mixed cocktails are watered down bigtime!

Not a commercial casino. Has a homey feel. Good pay outs too.

All table games removed, permanently. Tight slots only. Bring a mask and only remove it to take a puff on a cigarette or sip a drink. Have it off your face for more than a couple of second and you will be surrounded with employees telling you to put your mask on. GAMING IS DEAD IM NORTHERN NEVADA.

Looks like theyre remodeling while closed down. I know the restaurant specials are to draw people in to play slots, but families enjoy them too. One thing is we wish a little less of that stale casino smoke made it into the restaurant. Maybe post-COVID they will be more concerned about air quality and put up some plexiglass barriers or walls.Heres hoping Bonanza bounces back soon. Maybe the restaurant will be newly refreshed, staff a little more organized. The food is good and the value great but sometimes they couldnt handle the crowds on specials nights. This will all change now, Im sure. If they reduce capacity things might improve all around, except the wait to get inside.The older gentleman who carves at the buffet is such a sweetheart; my son was upset the soft serve machine wasnt working one night, and he went all the way across the restaurant to get him two scoops of ice cream. Another time he brought out flan even though they didnt have any set out that night, and gave my kid the biggest slice of cake hed ever seen. The red-haired lady server with glasses is nice too. We miss the affordable family dinners.

Loved the new waitress we had on 3/14/20. She was fast and efficient. The food is always good. I wish the midnight steak and eggs were still $5.99. But Ill pay the new price its worth it.

Bonanza is very small Casino its way out Beyond the major casinos that are in downtown Reno but its nice the people are nice bartenders are nice waitresses or nice but to go all that way its its all right

Not very pleased at all, the waitress was rude, I had to go ask for the bill, the coffee was horrible and the food was so greasy it left a film in my mouth I couldnt finish my meal after 4 bites, I was kinda surprised honestly, I use to come to Bomanza with my dad and have breakfast and lunch the food was always good so I dont know what changed but I will not be going back anytime soon,!!!

This is by far the best place to play and eat in Reno. Not very big and that is its charm.

We come here often. The food is always good. The buffet is a 6 out of 10 maybe a 7. No real complaints other than variety. Taco tuesday is awesome. Really good! The service is never more than a 4 out of 10. I think they need more wait staff. Over all if youre hungry its worth a stop. Just prepare to be patient.

Great staff (Cindy Lou) and classic breakfast, and you can eat lunch for breakfast if you desire...or breakfast for breakfast. The Kung Pao Chicken ranks in my top 5 ever for that dish and I am comparing it to Mr Chow in Las Vegas and Chef Chu in Los Altos CA, the later responsible for several White House State Dinners. This item had so much flavor without extreme heat that I was shocked I was not in a world class Chinese Restaurant but rather the building where the First Muppets Movie was filmed and basically a cafe with a small weekend buffet. The Orange Chicken also deserves a look as it is wonderful. Bravo!!!

I heard this was a good place to gamble and get good food. There was no food available when I was there, and cocktail service was almost non existent. They didnt have a great slot selection and the couple 21 tables they had seemed to be the where the little action they had was.

We only live two miles from here. We show up about every three weeks or so to kill a few hours. We usually don’t win, but we are realistic. We normally sit at the center bar. Well, for months now I have to search out someone to bring us a drink every time we are here. Today was the last straw! We were there for about 45 minutes and asked three people to have someone come over and bring us some drinks. No one came by. There are plenty of casinos in this town and yours is now off our list.

This particular evening the waitress was very pleasant. She had a smile on her face and came to our table several times to check in how we were doing. My fiances tea was kept full. Now for the chicken nachos. They were awesome as usual. We order one plate of the nachos as they serve enough for two people plus left overs to take home. I rate 5 star for this time. Past reviews have not been favorable due to wait staff being not too friendly.

The staff is really nice and the people that go there are friendly. I like the fact that with drawings, tornemants, and free play it give you a chance to play longer and win money for free. They have so many events and celibrations you always have a good time. It nice to have a fun and safe place to have fun and enjoy a night out. Cowboy casino. I lived within walking distance of it for more than 10 years. Good breakfast, and I hit a $3800 keno ticket for 45 cents. Otherwise terrible place to gamble. I think I paid for a good chunk of their expansion

This casino has been around so long now its amazing. I love how it never really does change there and most of the people are regulars that have been regulars since before i was born. The food is great day or night. The gambling is loose and fun...all around a great place to visit.

Hot August Nights Preshow.

I like the late night special Steak and eggs in the Branding Iron cafe. The Bonanza Casino is grate for late night gaming with a well lighted parking lot giving a safe access to the casino.

Had a great time. Everyone was nice. It was obvious that the employees like their jobs.

Not a very wide variety of hot dishes. The salad bar looked nice. The melons looked nice but was not what I would consider ripe. The cream pies looked fresh but didnt taste very good. Another customer asked me if there was more to the buffet than what they could see, I told her, other than the ice cream machine around the corner, this was it. Overall its an ok place.

Food Not So Good. Wilted Lettuce. Service Fair, and Waitress Forgot; Spoons for Soup and Ranch Dressing for the Wings on my Togo order. Manager wouldnt let me replace the salad for something else, which I thought wasnt normal or fair. My mom was a waitress for many years and her restaurants always allowed people to replace an item they didnt like it!!Ramsey always says, if you see pictures on the Menu, Run..DONT waste your dime here...
