Going to ceramics classes here is literally the highlight of my week. Ive been taking the adult ceramics classes for over 6 months now, and I usually try to go one day a week to open studio hours to practice on the wheel. The vibe is so welcoming, and both Chelsea and Holly (my teacher for the class) are super helpful. The best decision I made last year was to take this time to learn a new skill, because it has enriched my life and I am glad I found a safe nook in Redmond to do so. Take your loved ones and go! You wont regret it.

My son takes weekly pottery class here and he loves it. The teachers are knowledgeable and fun to work with. The students gets instructions as well as freedom to choose what they want to do. The studio has a big space, high ceilings and good air circulation. The working tables has the distance needed right now. I highly recommend this studio if your kid or you like making pottery or just would like to try something new. I took a semi private wheel throwing class which is so fun!

What an amazing space and a fantastic team of teachers for young students. We’ve been going here since my daughter was 4. Her teachers have really encouraged her to work with different media to create and use her imagination. Definitely check them out!

Redmond Art Works is a fantastic center for inspiring creativity and learning. My son (14) has taken several summer workshops and always leaves with a huge smile and full of ideas about what to create next. His art skills have also improved dramatically with their coaching. Getting middle school boys to have fun is a tough skill, and they definitely have it. What I love about Redmond Art Works is that rather than forcing kids into some mold by making identical art projects, they let the kids use their own creativity and provide tools and coaching to make something great. I have also enjoyed dropping in for open hours with my son to paint pottery or do clay together. Its easier to talk to teens while youre doing something, so weve had some wonderful talks there. The space is welcoming and friendly. I also really enjoy taking adult classes - especially pottery. I love how they have different options, so you can choose to do a one time workshop or you can sign up for an ongoing class. It makes it easier for a busy mom like me to find time to do something just for myself. The evening/no kids hours are also wonderful - relaxing music, chill atmosphere - even have the option to buy wine or snacks while I work.

The adult clay class was amazingly enjoyable. Instruction was clear and fun, help was appropriate while being unobtrusive. Environment was perfect for the task. If you are thinking about heading here for a class and do not, you are failing yourself. ---BONUS: Clay the Dog is sweet and fun

Very simple/easy model to follow. It was pretty cool hearing the proprietors background as a public school teacher and now revisiting what she did in college. I cannot wait to glaze my set of bowls I made on your clay wheels!

Ive hung out at RAW several times! Both for classes and open studio time. Its all a great time all the time. Love working on the pottery wheels. One of my favorites is the Evening of Resin Pours with a little wine !!! That was a hoot! We all created some beautiful art! No experience necessary, or talent!!! Just good fun!!!

Very friendly environment, and Chelsea is a great teacher! She is also fantastic with getting ones involved that don’t want to participate and make sure everyone has a smile on their face. Whether it’s for dropping in to work on something, to art camps or workshops, I highly recommend RAW!

Dropped off our kiddo for a Kids Night Out, (really an opportunity for Dad to score points with Mom) after checking out the studio during the day and having a chance to meet Chelsea. I felt absolutely comfortable leaving my daughter with her. And it was a huge success. When we returned it was obvious that the kids were engaged the whole time with different types of projects. Not to mention happy and fed. It was apparent that Chelsea had a plan for keeping busy with as well as assistance to keep watch over all the artists. We will definitely be back.
