Its one of the coolest water fountains Ive taken my kids to wish we had one in Springfield Oregon and the playground right next to it kids kingdom is amazing

This is a great free place to take your kids in the hot summers we have. It runs daily from memorial day to labor day. Its really just an area in the park where automated fountains are available to get wet in. Theres a big volcano that errupts about every 10 mins.There is no supervision. No park employee keeping an eye on the kids. It is the parents responsibly to keep your kids safe. I cannot express how important this is. The ground is painted concrete. It is very slippery. Please dont let your children run here. I highly advise aqua socks. A serious injury is a very real possibility. I have personally witnessed several concussions happen just because someone was running and slipped.

Fountains dont work. Play ground is opened. Plenty of shade...

Although the fountain was closed, kids kingdom was open and amazing my 5yr old loved it and by far one of the best.

This park was awesome!! The water feature was great, but the playground right next to it was the coolest playground i have been to. They jave a huge gazebo with shaded picnic tables, a few very large grills, lots of grass... and the playground had features for babies and toddlers, as well as people with disabilities. I can not get over what a great park this was, for the entire family! LOVED THIS PARK!!!

Free and fun for the whole family. Bring a picnic and cold drinks. Plenty of shaded seating.

During the summer, this is a great place for kids. There are different sized water fountains so it is safe for toddlers & older kids. The biggest hit is the volcano that erupts every so often with noise.

This is a great place to cool down on a hot day. The park is located just next to the fountains and is designed so that it is possible to keep an eye on your children. The weekend is very busy but during the week is much calmer.

BEST park! This place has an amazing water area for the kids to cool down after they play hard at the AMAZING park! It’s very big with lots of open space and a picnic and bbq area so you can have “events” such as birthdays here! The water park is only open in the summer time “when it’s hot out” it’s not a year round thing.

Other than not enough parking, I think its a pretty good playground for the kids. Thank you for creating such a cool place for the kids to just be kids!

Kids love playing there. I dont really like the bark in the playground but the kids seem to enjoy themselves.

Awesome place to take the kids for a birthday party or just for a day trip to the park lots of parking restrooms are usually pretty clean huge play area Community Garden soccer fields frisbee golf this place is well maintained and usually very clean

Free, lots of water, up-to-date facility what more could you ask for! Also has tons of shade. Being free you cant beat it!

Its fun, but make sure you exercise caution in all public places in Redding. Make sure children use the buddy system and dont use the bathrooms by themselves. There are a lot of questionable people that use this place as a shower.

Nice park, good place for kids or to spend the day with the family, has a frisbee golf course and a hockey rink, great place to practice sports or schedule a soccer practice

Great park!!! Recommend for everyone!!! Especially to take short break if driving from PDX to Sac or anywhere else.
