A timeless piece of.geology that has seen many improvements over the years for our enjoyment. A place where people of all kinds can enjoy the views. Especially fulfilling in.spring and fall but a great visit anytime!

We went to the mountain biking trails. They are HIGHLY recommended by us. Monday around noon was not busy at all, but I dont know about the weekends. Very well built trails and unique features throughout including two seesaws near the end of the trail. Great views too.

Great view, especially if you have young kids or are not able to hike far. Its a quick drive to the top.

A very high view of Red Wing. Well maintained.Really called Veterans Memorial Park. But dont understand why they dropped the Veterans part. Nice open areas for field games, picnics, walking, cliff face climbing. Worth a visit if you are driving The Great River Road.

This is one of my favorite stops whenever Im in Red Wing. Overlooks the city and the river! Closed during the winter time unfortunately unless youre ready to hike the hill on foot!

Gorgeous river bluff and downtown Red Wing views! Very much worth the drive up to the top! (Or hike if there are hiking trails up it) Plenty of spots to park and relax with the view stretching for miles and miles! Bring your friends and family with. It’s worth coming to see in all the seasons too!

Love this place. Im not from this far north. In Tennessee we dont have caves. Or at least this many. I have an appetite for the underground. I sure get my belly full here.

Its very cool, you can see all of Red Wing and the bluffs. Nice areas to walk to or sit and have a picnic. If you havent been up there Id highly recommend going up. Its high above Red Wing

Memorial Park is one of my favorite places in Minnesota. Ive brought friends from all over the state here to see the view. I even proposed to my girlfriend here.

Love it i live here in summer to take care of grandparents and theres much to do great for family and dogs!

This is such a wonderful park! The views from atop The bluff are excellent! Theres a nice walking path that splits off into a few smaller sections, so you can go for a short walk or a long walk. Theres even a frisbee golf area to enjoy with friends! The parking can be limited so if you try to go during a busy time, like a holiday weekend for example, then you may have to drive around a bit before you find a spot to stop. If your new in town or just visiting then I would add this to the list of things to do!

Lots of things to do. Plenty of trails and space to walk. Great picnic areas and informational signs everywhere. Disc golf course on top of the high thats open and flat. Fun spot to spend time in Red Wing.

Good for hiking, breathtaking views. We really enoyed the hike, but not good enough information on mountain bike trails. Neex little more improvement on the mountain biking trails and directions. Major part of the trail was closed beacuse of the goats. You can park the car in lower quarry and take the trail. You can view the whole town from the top. There is a clubhouse if you want to use good restrooms.

Great park. There is an 18-hole Disc Golf course, hiking trails, mountain biking trails. In the winter much of the park is groomed for cross country skiing. Amazing views of Red Wing and the Mississippi river valley. There are several picnic areas throughout the park with benches and tables, some with views of the river valley.

Amazing views and nice park, I took my wife here to show her where I grew up and to see the city, we didnt go across to the bluff but this is a great alternative if tight on time. Its very clean at the top and has amazing views of red wing. The only thing that might be worrisome is that some people speed in cars around the place and the road leading up is narrow and people dont slow down and dont move over causing you to slow or stop to the side. But regardless its still a very nice place.

This park probably has the best combination of public amenities and vistas in the state of MN and that includes the entire north shore of Lake Superior. Memorial sets high above Red Wing MN and lets you look into the Mississippi river valley and downtown Red Wing. Its a view with abundant natural wonders. The road to the top has a number of narrow hairpin turns so a vehicle with a long wheel base, such as an RV, should consider making other arrangements to get to the top.

This is just a gorgeous place to visit! The most Beautiful views and also a terrific place to have a picnic. Need to visit this place at least once...I guarantee that if you do...this is a place you will want to go again.

This is a beautifully kept course. Not too technical, not too open, just a nice, varied, and overall enjoyable course. Its a nine with two tees that makes for a relaxed 18.

One of the regions best parks with hiking and mountain bike trails. Disc golf and spectacular views. Lots of limestone picnic benches scattered throughout park. A must visit when in the area.

Nice mountain bike trails for the area. Good places to cook out. Bit unfortunate that the gates close at night and winter.

Came here to mountain bike with the girlfriend and enjoyed the switchbacks, the variety of terrain; such as the Stairway to Heaven climb to the dh trail to the teeter totters at the end of the 11ish mile loop!

Review is for Disc Golf CourseTimes Played: 2+Pros:1. Has an amazing scenic view of Red Wing most of the way around the course and a cool looking castle near the center.2. Baskets are in great shape.3. Tee signs show you the layout of each hole and point you in the direction of your next hole.4. The flow of the course nicely loops around to the beginning.5. The course is out in the open so you dont have to worry about loosing your disk in foliage.6. Looks like they cut the fair way grass (Well maintained)7. Has plenty of picnic tables to eat at.8. Not crowded before April, since the gate to the road is closed until then.9. Hosts a tournament every august.10. Restrooms are available here.Cons:1. Tee pads are gravel and have divots from previous use.2. Only trash bins are at the beginning of the course3. There was a good amount off trash on the course.4. Not a lot of parking.Other Thoughts:Over all this is a pretty decent course. The sight up there takes your breath away and the castle in the middle of the course is pretty cool. Over all the course is pretty well maintained and I had a great experience. If you go before April, youll need to walk about a mile up hill to access this course, but its worth it. If you are ever in Red Wing I would recommend stopping by at this course.

Absolutely awesome place to visit, we come here to view the 4th of July celebrations as well and we have a blast. Love the cow path too!

Fun beginner level course in a cool location overlooking Red Wing. Very well maintained, no real risk of losing a disc.

This place was amazing! The altitude was amazing. I was looking down at the houses. I was nearly disoriented i was so high up.

The boy scouts really did a great job up there, looks so much better n really beautiful!

This is a great Park at the plateau of a cliff! They have picnicking, an 18 basket frolf course, and of course great views! There is a satellite to rest in.

I love this park for the scenic over looks. Im not a fan of mosquitos.

Went for a run here with my team very good place for a run or walk nice and quiet.

Great park to see the colors and views. You can drive up to the different look out . lots of space so you dont have to share spots. We had a picnic and watched the sun set. Many trails to walk and good spots to explore. Ive gone to this park for years and will go up again

Great hiking and biking. Beautiful views

The bike trails are really fun to bike on! My main problem is that they dont have any water fountains on the entire bluff so bring lots of water. There is a nice cave on the front of the bluff that goes pretty deep and is good for storing extra stuff that you dont want to get stolen if you store it far enough in. The only other thing that I have a problem with is that they have ungroomed trails on the back of the bluff that are easily accessible but impossible to get out unless you bomb ungroomed trails with lots of jumps. As long as you pay attention to where you are biking you wont end up there.

Very nice area with lots of space for exploring! Multiple entrances makes parking or getting there very easy. Space for beautiful overlooks, nice restrooms, frisbee golf as well. Many trails for hiking.
