Beautiful, peaceful, and I build a home 5225 StoudtsFerry Bridge Road. I really missed the area. The park is great bike riding walking also kept very manicured. I also managed to walk along the edge of the river and theres some trash there people are going down there for whatever reason and leaving their trash.

Relaxing parkIt has 3 dog runs (small, medium, large dog areas) a nice walking path with a river view, basketball court area, and plenty of picnic tables (a few have set up coal grills)

Love this place so much to offer .thanks for the Summer music on a Friday night it has been very enjoyable especially in times like this when theres nothing to do! my grandson got married on the grounds over there very nice setup and accommodations!

I really enjoy going to this park with my dogs. Nice scenery and park is always kept clean. HOWEVER, I am not positive who the owner is but if its an old lady she tried to run me and my dogs off the trial and was screaming out her window. It seemed as if she was the owner by the things she was saying. She was driving through the grass and the trial as if inspecting the park. Very unfriendly not to mention very scary she will hurt someone next time.

Huge area, baseball fields, running/biking/walking trail. Dog park. For such a huge place its sparse. Its clean but nothing pulling me to it. They have a few food, wine and kids events infrequently. I do enjoy them, other than that it is what it is!

Beautiful park. HUGE! so many things to do. Trials. Basketball courts, roller blading skating, and blading, football, Soccer, and at night the place to view the stars

Park has something for everyone. Pavilions for those sudden rain squeaks. Various sports fields. A paved walking path. Lots of large old shade trees. And is a good place to stage your next kayak trip.

Plenty of wide open spaces, ball fields and basketball courts. Just a great place to get outdoors.

We have used this dog park for our new pup a few times now and we absolutely love it. Huge space for them to run around and separated small and large fields for different sized dogs. Very well kept and a great crowd that goes there too!

This is a really nice park. It is easily accessible and pretty. All the facilities seem nice, though I primarily use the dog park. If youre using the dog park, there is a porta potty provided as well as disposable bags for dog waste.A word of caution to fellow dog owners: this park has laid back rules compared to other parks in the area. This has pros and cons. The pros are that its free and theres no one micromanaging you or your dog. The cons are that you will run into dog owners that dont police their own animals or dont care for them properly. Most of the time, you will not have a problem. Just be prepared to stick up for yourself and your dog and bring enough water to share.

Great open space to run and play with your kids

Good area to meet up with friends, nice area for walks and three pavilions throughout. The river makes it even better if you are just their to walk. Great trail for walking dogs and a dog park nearby. Along with soccer nets, basketball, and baseball. Can’t forget the festivals they hold here! I highly Recommend.

Very clean park and a nice place to spend the day.

We had our wedding at the park. Staff was amazing is giving us direction, and letting us set up a little earlier. The venue is a beautiful setting overlooking the river. A great place to have a small quaint get to get her for any occasion. The bonus is you can bring liquor on premise with the purchase of liquor liability insurance. The scenery provide for beautiful photos of my wife and I.Thanks again and very highly recommended!!!!!

Great place to play some softball and for some good family time

Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for a picnic.

My family held a get together at the farm house. It was a great facility with room for kids to run around and relax. My only criticism is that there was only one Air Condition unit for the main dining area and it was set in the area where we served food. It would have made more sense to place the AC unit in the dining area or in both areas. The dining area was a bit muggy as a result. The single AC unit was insufficient to cool the entire area

It is a nice clean area, and I love taking the puppy over so she can run around.

Great for socialization. Clean, lots of trees, nice people. Right by the schukyl river too.

Always enjoy the park. The Riverfest was lots of fun with good entertainment and great food vendors. Lots of tables to eat at and some additional seating was available as well. One thing we marveled at was how clean it was. Most everyone threw their trash in one of the many trash receptacles provided. The park was also sufficiently patrolled by Muhlenbergs finest keeping us safe and directing traffic. Thank you to all responsible for such a successful event.

This park is truly a special place. There is so much room to roam and enjoy, from the river path to the dog park to the pavilions and ball courts. The farmhouse is lovely and available to rent and the grounds are well kept. We utilize the park all the time and appreciate this quiet, natural place.

Its a public park located in Muhlenberg township. This past weekend hosted River Fest and was a good time. The park itself has many activities and lots of room to do them. Check out the website for information.

They have a dog park.It’s big. Tall fences. Double entrance doors - more secure for the dogs.Picnic tables. Trash can! And a porta-potty!Enough said!

Team picnic held here at pavilion #2. It was nice. Parking was close and sufficient. Bathrooms were right there. There was open space for kids to play. Downside: no shade trees and no playground.

Wine and Dine night was great, good food, good variety of wines to choose from, great band to listen to and dance! Thanks. Cant wait til next year!

Nice park but one porta potty for 300 or more people was ridiculous. And it smelled terrible.

Has 3 fenced areas, small dog, large dog, and one to rotate. The large dog area had a nice shaded tree area with picnic tables, and large open grassy area. It was fairly busy when we went, which our dog loved because he is mister social. I would definitely recommend bug spray because there were quite a few gnats.

Always like getting to their festivals, good live entertainment and food selection . Plenty of activities .

Best dog park I’ve been to! We travel Pa for work and are always looking for off leash parks to let our dogs run. This one is spacious and CLEAN! I never saw a pile of poo. Also lots of shade and benches, but bring your own water and bowl.

Tons of activities. Close to river and great place for 5k races

The dog park here is very nice. They also have pavilion areas with picnic tables.

Beautiful park along the Schuylkill river. Lots of festivals during the year. We rented the 19th century farmhouse for our daughters baby shower. Beautiful venue and the price cant be beat. Fire rated capacity, I think, is 88 people.

This park is excellently maintained. The pavilions are lovely and clean and there is a paved path loop. The loop doesnt make for a long walk but there is also a little trail down to the river. There are lots of ball fields here and at least two pavilions.My only wishes would be 1) to have the restrooms unlocked more OR the porta potties emptied more frequently and 2) to have an actual playground. There is a workout station but for little kids its not the best.

Wonderful place to spend some time at. Scenic along the river and its usually quiet except for sporting or special events. The track is an added plus for walkers or cyclists. Come and enjoy.UPDATE: May 13, 2020. The park was open. No large groups were seen. A new park bench was put in since my last visit. Lots of birds singing today. Love this place. I always ride my bike here.

One of the best parks in Berks county. They have a great dog park with a separate space for the little dogs.

If your looking for a place to take your dog to socialize with other dogs and to run around, this is the place. Just discovered this place today. Decided to take my 4 month old golden retriever to the park and let me tell ya, he loved it. He doesnt get to be off his leash much so he was really enjoying the freedom, not to mention the other dogs he loved playing with. Other dog owners I crossed paths with were very nice as well.

The park itself is beatiful and we enjoy going immensely. However, the dog park is poorly managed . . . My 5 month old puppy was injured by another persons dogs in the Big Dog section, and the owner didnt care!! I watched her dogs attack 2 more times while trying to socialize my terrified puppy with the small dogs. Be careful when going to the dog park!

No shade! I have not been to a oatk where there is no shade for vehicles or people. Lots of open space and would consider visiting if it is a colder day, otherwise Ive marked it as dont visit again on my list.

Nice park. Out of the way off Rt 61 with plenty of paved trails for walking and dogs. A baseball, basketball, and soccer field...benches and grills and a few large pavilions and the whole thing sits on a corner of the schyukill river. Highly reccomend!! Note: has a dog park too

Was there for the first time in Sept, a state of the art rental areas for outings, weddings, celebrations for all! Private, huge! Unbelievable!!!

They have two separate areas, one for small and one for big dogs. Clean, lots of room for them to run.

Canceled my reservation without telling me and it was for my wedding.

I just attended a large picnic for retirees in this park and found the facilities to be excellent and parking convenient. The park is spotlessly clean and the dog park gets a lot of use. A fine place for outdoor activities.

Love this place glad it close to home go there almost everyday to relax and walk the dog most people respect the place but you have some that dont
