There is construction going on there right now the highway is down to one lane both directions so be careful I would suggest taking the last exit in New Mexico you can access the sign from the roadside rest with out having to jam up traffic! Be safe and enjoy. Your best and safest route to the sign is to use exit 460 in New Mexico. Drive by or stop into the Raton pass café. The sign has lots of parking if you go this route and some other historic boards can be found here as well! Enjoy and be safe.

Great spot to stop when arriving into Colorado. It comes up quickly, so br prepared to stop. The pull off area is bumpy, so drive carefully

Quick turn out just before the sign. Make sure you get the Monarch Pass elevation sign, too. This is the Continental Divide!

Located at New Mexico and Colorado State border. Travelers stop here to take pictures making their enter into Colorado. Colorado is a beautiful state with lots of fun activities to do.

Theres parking off to the side. The current construction makes it so you can walk to the sign and take your picture without the risk of getting ran over.

Not to many parking spots, really close the main road you might overlook it.

Homeless population is out of control. Governor is trying to impress national players so he can run for president. This state is over ran with left and east coast idots. As a life long resident Im ashamed of how ugly the people are and that includes those who are running and living in this one time gateways to the West.

Easy to park your car and the coolest state sign I’ve seen yet!

Great place to stop and take a picture but be cautious its right after you top the Raton pass on your right hand side.
