Stayed five nights in the Mountain View Ste. It was very comfortable and well appointed. King bed was comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. The location was perfect to explore the Black Hills area of SD. Fire pit and private deck were nice benefits of the suite.Highly recommend the suite for a couple or couple with a small child. Would definitely stay here again if in the Black Hills area.

Absolutely loved everything about it the location, accommodations, amenities and management. It works best with 2-3 night stays. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a perfect place with a reasonable price! 1 night stays wont do this place justice. Almost everything provide; dishes, pots and pans, cooking electronics. You can purchase wood by the basket if needed. It has board games and a pool, just a lot of cool little things that are nice! Provides plenty of towels and will bring different bedding if needed. Came here for our honeymoon and we are very pleased with how travel to big places worked out and the convenience of the cabin being just off highway 16. Lets just say we will be back thats a promise!

Amazing cabins that are nestled in the Black Hills. My children loved sitting around our own private fire pit roasting Smores.

We just checked in yesterday and are so happy with this find. A quaint and cute cabin resort located amongst beautiful scenery. Very comfortable and clean. We came from a night at a hotel that was sketchy so we were so thrilled with Silver Mountain. Our cabin is perfect for our family of four and my parents. Pool area is perfect for our kiddos. Love the firepit and our deck area for relaxing after a day of site seeing. Internet is spotty but thats okay. I had hoped to a somewhat unplugged vacation to just relax. Definitely recommend!!!

We were just neutral about this place. The location is off the main highway so its quite. Right down the road is trail access and Gaslight restaurant. The Coon Hollow Cabin was nice. It was decorated well but for the tiny TV. The kitchen utensils are stocked for all your needs. It slept 5 comfortably.The space is shared with other campsites and very tight. We did not feel the private seclusion we hoped for. Our fire pit was nearly overlapping space with two others. You can hear all neighboring conversations. We felt no place to wander or explore with out encroaching on others sites. The self check in, self serve, self clean was a unexpected for such a high price, but maybe clean up is normal for cabin stays?I will say the owners were very friendly and accommodating.

There were comfy beds, nice hot showers, a separate heater in the bathroom, fully stocked kitchen appliances and gadgets, and all my favorite board games! Loved the fire pit while enjoying the picturesque views after a long day exploring the nearby trails.

I was very impressed with the Silver Mountain Resort Cabins. The cabins are tucked away off the highway with a fantastic view. The cabins are spacious, beautiful, with the most comfortable beds! We went to Reptile Gardens, Bear Country, and Custer State Park. The hosts are so friendly and accomodating. I loved the complimentary smores. The only complaint I have is that our visit was so short! I cant wait to visit again! We had a lovely family vacation!

The cabins were great and there was so much to do around us! The beds were a little itchy the first night but then got better! The ticks are really bad around here but oh well! They provide game boards just in case it was rainy! Pool was great but a little chilly! Although with that it was great!

Not only is this place Incredibly Beautiful, it has everything you need to feel like you are in the comfort of your own home! We were overly surprised at how big and spacious the cabins are. We stayed in Silver Mountain #2, more than enough room. Close to so many things, yet off the highway and in the mountains. Very clean and fully equipped kitchens and baths! Fresh linens! Gas grills, playground for kids, pool, fire pits, and decks. Highly recommend this place!

The perfect getaway destination. Cabins were impeccably cleaned and thoroughly stocked with everything you could need. The owner was kind and welcoming and willing to go out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. We look forward to a return visit!

Great location, very comfy and well furnished. Easy check in/out. Easy to get to but far enough off of main highway to feel secluded. Owners even supplied child gate and several toys to have on the premises for our toddler.

So worth it. Beautiful location off the beaten track but still close to everything. The owners thought of everything... Cozy quilts, clean dishes, pots and pans, everything you need to cook, towels, dish soap, paper towels, even stuff for smores provided. Only gripe is having to pay for firewood but thats pretty typical at any camp you would stay at. Saw deer, listened to the wind in the trees. Loved every minute.

Very clean, comfortable bed, reasonable price, close to many things. There is plenty of space at the lot but you will see and hear your neighbors. Unfortunately we were in a suite over another unit with children and were woken up around 6:30 early a few mornings of our stay

Quaint little cabin. Full equipped kitchen. The beds are a bit to soft but no reason to remove a star for that. If something comes up you can just text management which is awesome in my opinion. Beautiful location which is situated right between everything we wanted to see.

Family of 6 (grandparents, parents, 11 year old, & 3 year old) had plenty of room in Silver Mountain #2. Daily visits from deer, rabbits, etc. Great location that thankfully was not on main highway but roads were serviced by snowplows when needed. I enjoyed the quiet. The furnishings were simple but authentic. The coziness of the cabins were great as it rained alot and we were not outside alot if we were at the cabin and not out seeing all the Black Hills attractios. I appreciated that the cabins were not decked out with big TVS and stuff we always have in our normal lives. I highly recommend and we hope to return someday.

A very unique, beautiful, quiet resting spot. The Cabins have everything you need! The location of this property is unlike the others. It sits off of the highway about 1 mile on a gorgeous back road. Getting away from the loud highway adds that extra bit of tranquility to your Black Hills getaway. While you are off the highway, you are still just 15 minutes from Rapid city and 15 minutes from Mt.Rushmore. So whether your a local or visiting this beautiful area, You will not be disappointed.

Waking up after the first night of five and we were so impressed. We have stayed at many places through VRBO, other private rentals and lodges and this is amazing. So quaint and friendly. It really feels like home. We are a family of 4 with 2 teen boys and we needed a landing ground for 5 days. The first night we were able to be on the deck, bbq, swim and sleep in such peace and quiet. They have thought of everything! Did I mention clean? Not a dust bunny to be found. Well done!

We stayed in the Coon Hollow cabin and loved it. It was a great cabin in a perfect location for visiting all the Black Hills has to offer. The cabin was clean and the grounds were quiet. Well be back for sure!

From the beautiful drive up to the resort to the nice sized cabin and clean accommodations we really enjoyed our stay at the silver mountain resort. We stayed in the silver moon cabin which was perfect for 2 adults and an active 3 year old.

Beautiful, great place to stay! Would stay here over and over again!! I didnt want to leave! Highly recommend!

The cabins were nice, very quiet area, when multiple people are staying in a cabin, the parking area is very limited at the cabin. If youre on a motorcycle, you may end up parking off the road versus at your cabin.

Nicely located just south of Rapid City, but far enough that you are away from people. The cabins are clean and comfortable, although the wifi is a bit spotty. Overall, great stay.

Our family of 5 spent several nights in silver mountain #2. The cabin was spacious enough for all of us to spread out but still be close as a family. Each child had their own space with flexibility for new sleeping arrangements each night. We were about 15 minutes from downtown rapid city and about the same distance from keystone. I liked not being directly along the major highway, the woods afforded us some privacy.The owners helped us out tremendously, they provided the first round of Smores, soaps, towels, bedding, kitchen amenities, etc. We also had internet connection and a DVD/BluRay player. The full sized kitchen allowed us to eat in when we didnt want to drive into town for a meal.I strongly recommend this location.

Dont recommend going here. The property is the size of a basketball court with cabins stacked on top of each other, our cabin was 15 from the road, and they are very-very small. Also they will charge your card for whatever/whenever they want without any consent from the card owner for made up damages to the property. The first two nights we were there we had no power to either of the bedrooms and the lady accused us of doing something that caused it. The 4 days we stayed they never once restocked the towels, toiletries, or took the garbage bags stacked outside the door.Worst expiernece ever... I highly do not recommend this place... You will understand the second you pull up to this establishment..
