Great tasting wines and the owner is friendly and attentive. The vibe is relaxing and perfect for a weekend.

I was instantly impressed when we drive up. Over 7 acres of vineyards and 2 access of homestead. There is plenty of shade with comfortable starting where you enjoy the delicious wine and view of the vineyards.

This was my first visit to a vineyard ever and Im glad I chose Grant James. The staff is amazing, especially Jacques! The service was out of this world and the wine was Amazing!! I am still here as I am typing this because I am so blown away by the service that I have to received. Thank you again Vineyard Grant James!! You guys are awesome.

I am happy to report that I have had the most friendly and educational experience at Grand James Vineyard. Jacques, the owner, was very inviting and warm upon our arrival. Being a vino, having visited Napa Valley, Paso Robles, and many other wineries, I have found this winery as one of the best wine tasting and touring experiences as I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this establishment, my significant other and I had such a great experience here!

Great little boutique winery. This is not a big, fancy operation like some in the area. Frequently, the owners are serving you, and you can discuss the grapes, happenings, even life in general.Never tried one of their wines that wasnt delicious. The have live music on the weekends to make relaxing on the patio mote enjoyable.Whether you have a tasting, or a bottle youre always welcome.

Wine was amazing, Volantis was my favorite, service was great as well. Quaint, relaxing sitting area. Mom and pop feel. Jacques was great and friendly. My only suggestion is to change the music to something more wine tasting like and not Spanish merengue or salsa. I am Hispanic and hear that music often so having some relaxing music would add to the experience. Still giving it 5 stars because it was a good experience and we used a Groupon which they accepted with no issues. Keep up the good work.

A breath of fresh air after all the huge commercialized Temecula wineries. All family owned and operated, yet still five star wine. Great opportunity for a trip to the “country” if you’re fro San Diego. Bring a picnic and your dog (they are VERY pet friendly), and enjoy beautiful spring day wine tasting!

I really enjoyed everything about this winery—the wine, the family, the scenery, the dogs, etc.There is a charming, comfortable family feel. The owners are so nice and so friendly! I definitely will be coming back here and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice and relaxing time (whether or not you drink wine).

Okay this place is awesome. I purchased the yelp deal $10 for $20 before I left and had no problems redeeming it. I had one tasting which was no charge since I bought a bottle of their Super Tuscan blend. Most of the wines in the tasting set were too sweet for me, but the owner kept coming by and pouring me tastes of off-menu wines. The outdoor seating, the two guitarists performing, and the lovely garden provided a fantastic relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely come again wih a picnic lunch. Local Ramona eateries will deliver there as well. Loved it.

We are from Rancho Bernardo, so it takes same amount of time for us to go the vineyard at Temecula or Ramona. We always choose Temecula due to the number of options we have it there.This is the first time we been in a vineyard at Ramona and we are very glad we did. We were here for friends Birthday Party. I was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere here. It only took my husband and I one visit to Vineyard Grant James for us to decide to become members, and we are SO glad we did! This is now our favorite spot to take friends and family who come up the hill, and anytime we have a free weekend evening, you can usually find us here. Great wine, great people, and great views - what more could one want?! Save yourself from the drive to Temecula and check out all the Ramona wineries instead - they are truly hidden gems!

My first time going to a wine tasting and it was delightful. The owner was very friendly and gave out great advice for us newbies. Her daughter was kind enough to be our photographer for a short while and even posed us and suggested which areas were best for photos. With our groupon purchase, we were given 5 tastings and a sixth of our favorite of the 5, which was a fabulous deal. My favorite was the Phoenix and Volantis. You must also try the cheese ball! Each bite and sip of wine had a burst of sweet and cheddar goodness!It was such a nice getaway from the busy city and I very much enjoyed sipping my wine and viewing the scenery.
