One of the best playground Ive ever seen in east coast. Its huge and cant be overcrowded. There are tons of slides, swings, zip line. Its very sunny but have some shaded areas too.

Great park. Clean with trails and a large area. Only thing Id change would be if there were a fence surrounding the park area. But that would be difficult since its a decent size playground.

Just as great as the reviews say, but PLEASE dont let your children run on the structures on a wet day/dewy morning. They are slippery. My child slipped and busted his lip open. Shortly after two more little boys fell forward on their faces and one little girl who fell back and hit her head.

This park is a dream come true! Two story entrances and FULLY wheelchair and stroller accessible. This playground is MASSIVE and so much fun for toddlers up to big kids. Heaps of slides, ladders, rope obstacles, sandbox areas, swings, rocking benches, ramps, and trails!

Great size to get their energy out but not get bored of same play set.

We visited Raleigh for a couple days and I can say we never seen such a big and nice playground. My kids had so much fun!

This park is full of enjoyment and excitement for my toddler. They do have different sections for older and toddler kids. Its nice clean, family friendly park with options for older kids to play basketball as well.

Amazing playground, my son played for hours and didn’t want to leave.

This is a beautiful playground we visited while on vacation to North Carolina. It is very clean and the entire playground is updated. My son loved it. They have a large zip line, yes zip line! for the kids to ride on which is very safe. They also have a butterfly garden and I was able to take photos of yellow swallowtails gathering on the flowers. Probably the best playground we have ever visited.

This is a big playground area. Kids can enjoy swings, steps, ladders, rope attractions, gliders, and much more.

The All Kids Playground is HUGE and designed for accessibility. In addition to normal playground equipment in 4x volume it also includes zip-lines, young child basketball court, lots of seating for parents, a growing set of trails... can easily accommodate 100+ children.

I wish I had a playground like this nearby growing up! It is so cool and there’s so many different things for the kids to do. Sunday afternoons are a bit too busy for us... I would suggest going on a weekday or on Saturday. The playground is pretty spread out so make sure you have a watchful eye on your children as there are different levels to the playground too.

This playground is massive. Its like they took 4 separate jungle gyms and put them together. Plus: a sand pit, swings, and zip line. Very wheelchair friendly. Nice bathrooms and a walking trail around a lake. My 3 year old spent hours playing here and didnt get bored once.

This park/playground is amazing! So many fun features for kids of all sizes to enjoy. I only took a couple pics of lovely flowers, but I found the playground via Google & you can see most of the fun structures there. It does seem to draw a crowd, so whatever the off hours are, Id recommend trying to go then.

The only reason I didnt give five stars is because of inconsistent closures throughout the year. Otherwise, its a great playground for both young and school age children. Multiple slides and swings available. Also, there are zip line style swings for all age kids. Its a nice place for beginning walkers, with ramps and nice wide passages on the jungle gyms. There is a covered pavilion and a few picnic tables on the grounds. There is a pond with a small walkway and a basketball court available as well. The bathrooms are convenient and clean and there is ample parking.

Worth the wait, this playground is amazing, lots to do, hours of fun for the kiddos. As usual employees at community center are always very friendly and welcoming.

This is an awesome park for a kid in a wheelchair! My son was so excited to talk about his experiences after he left! It was the first time he was able to play alongside his friends at the top of the playground equipment. He could not understand why his school playground was not like this. Thank you for such an awesome park for my son!

This playground is an amazing, inclusive, place of JOY! Children play with each other with wild abandon on age appropriate play equipment, as parents watch with smiles on their faces. You can book the pavilion for parties, hike the trails, or just watch your kiddos play, and push them on the swings! It is a marvelous place to recapture the joy of childhood!

Best playground in RDU. Period. Enormous and well maintained. I would go there even if there was an entrance fee. Kudos to Raleigh Park n Rec.

Came here to take a break from my daugther. She had a great time. Not only did she live the zip line activity but she wanted to explore the trail and look at the pond. We had a great time as a family here. One of the best playgrounds we have visited. One the best children’s playground we have visited. Clean, lots of options, accommodates younger and older kids. Great experience!

First time back since theyve renovated it. This place is a kids dream playground. Im having my soon-to-be five-year -olds birthday party here for sure. Heck, I want MY birthday party here. Bring shades during the summer months.

Wow, this park has it all and really works for everyone. My kiddo loves this place and is just 2 but it still works for him. There are tons of plants and flowers along with tons of things for everyone to do. Lots of parking as well and some baseball fields. You will not request spending a day here.

Great playground, with fun equipment for children. We visited from Florida so the nature colors were a huge plus for us. The park has trails as well. My children love it!!

This is the best place to take grandchildren!

Tremendously fun playground with area for all ages, and some very cool swings, gliders, and rockers. Its beautiful, large, and bordered by a small lake and a large community center. There are covered pavilions for picnics and birthday parties. There are so many cool pieces to play with, and several playgrounds, including a sand pit for the littlest ones. A small path surrounding the park is good for light exercise. There is also a basketball court, baseball field, and soccer field directly adjacent to the playgrounds. Absolutely awesome!

Incredible park thats totally accessible to those of all abilities. Theres something fun for everyone to do. Beware, this is NOT a park you can sit down on a bench and let your kids play. Its so big, and there are so many cool structures, so there are lots of blind spots.

Absolutely a wonderful park to visit. Children will enjoy it. I recommend this park all the time. Theres so much to do and its clean. More shade would be nice, but most benches are located under tree shaded areas.

So many options your kids can enjoy but if you have a toddler, not many options for them.

Every detail of the park was well planned out. My grandson enjoyed himself. Every city in each state should have a Sassafras All Children.

Sooooo nice!!! Lots to do and see! We were there for 3 hours and all of the kids were asleep before we got out of the parking lot!

Great spot for kids of all ages my 2 year old was able to play with her many cousins of all various years. All older than her in the same place. It Has a little of everything for everyone. This play ground was well planed out.

My son loves coming to this playground, and so do I! There is so much to do and explore for kids across a wide range of ages and it is designed to be accessible for those with disabilities. There are also some boardwalks and a creek on the far side of the playground and some nearby athletic fields.

This park is so great, tons to do and really pretty layout too with lots of trees and plants. Shaded a over the jungle gyms to make the really hot days bearable.

We love this park. It is perfect for all ages and has plenty of space. Only con is lack of shade.

My favorite playground for the kiddo. This place is huge and their equipment is all new and well maintained. We can spend hours here without getting bored. Make sure to bring sunscreen as most of the equipment is out in the sun, but there is some shaded area to cool off in. Water fountains are also available.

Perfect for kids of all ages. Its a beautiful area and kept very clean.

Recently completely renovated with huge variety and range of structures and activities for kids. Plenty of parking and walking paths.

My baby boy loves it here! They have a wide range of play options that work well for toddler through bigger kids. Its well laid out with plenty of room for everyone to run and only themselves.

I loved it when it was Laurel Hills and I love it now. I brought the little boy I nanny who is 1 1/2 and we had a blast! I loved that I was able to climb with him. What really made me love this park even more is that its wheelchair friendly. I saw a little girl scooting around on her wheelchair. How refreshing to know there is a place for everyone to have fun here!

We love this park. Its huge, lots of different things to play on and with. Swings, monkey bars, zipline type swing, instruments, slides, sand area, young childrens area, baseball fields, soccer fields, basketball court, etc.
