Good playground and sports facilities, also a great place to start a bike ride or walk from
This park is so fun! 2 different structures, one for younger and one for older. There is lot of space to run around and get some energy out. It seems to be a hidden gem, because there have been very few people there when we have gone. (I havent been during the summer, though) The bathroom facilities are great, and they have trash recepticals with different recycling options.
We love going there to use the baseball field to practice.
I like this park. Theyve got basketball, volleyball, baseball. A trail. Swings. A picnic shelter that doesnt seem like you have to have it reserved to use it like many other parks.Honeycutt is nearby one of the fancier neighborhoods. And its usually lowkey, without big crowds ever making it feel overwhelming to be here. To the contrary, often times, it feels nice and quiet. One of our favorites is Laurel Hills park, because it just has so many great things. But that one can get very busy and overwhelming.
A nice place for any activity
Took my dog on a nice walk along the paths. The paths are long enough to get a good exercise and are clearly marked. The park itself included a baseball field, a basketball court and two playgrounds.
Nice park.
Nice park, playground, and Greenway, especially for bicyclists.
Its a nice little park but no water fountain and only 2 baby swings, no big kids swings at all. No shade on the play area at all, which is nice in the winter but harsh in the summer.
Super chill, not crowded
Great place to have a birthday party. It’s never crowded, which is nice! The bathrooms are relatively clean. Quite and safe place to let your kids play.
Took my 2 year old grand daughter and she loved the play area. She was a happy camper.
The playground was fine. However the womens bathroom was disgusting. There was blood covered towels. The toilets look like they hadnt been clean in weeks. My son went in the mens and he said it was just as bad. There were a few groups of young kids playing and walking. We all talked and we didnt feel safe or comfortable using the restrooms.
Huge picnic shelter and a nice playground. There are baby swings but none for big kids. No shade or water fountains
Lovely little park. Right off of the greenway!
A bit secluded, but good park
Really a park that had everything. Baseball field. Basketball courts. Amazing playground. Covered shelter. Restrooms. Greenway trail. And usually not many people. Greenway comes up from the corner of Honeycutt and Durant, around the park, then drops down a mile or so to go under 540 and eventually connect with Strickland at West Millbrook Middle. Fantastic!
This is a great park to take the kids. Their playground equipment is new and well maintained. There is a shaded area with picknic tables and restrooms conveniently located there. Make sure to bring sunscreen during the summer for the young folks, as all of the fun stuff is out in the sun.
Peaceful
Calm n beautiful...comfortable for kids to play around.
A little dirty. Playgrounds were great. Picnic pavilion was nice. Bathrooms were dirty from vandalism.
Nice park. Has rest rooms as well as play ground. Also has baseball diamond and football field.
We loved this park. Great for kids of all ages and abilities!
Thus place has a nice kids area . Basket ball court, big open field for like soccer . Its nice, and the trails are really nice here too
I dont recommend but it isnt too bad.
Real nice area I like bring my kids here.
Completely enclosed by woods. Very small playground. Bithday party was booked so no where to sit.
Love the park and the shelter, but I dont like how secluded it is from the road. I wont go back to this park again by myself. While I was there, a man pulled right up to the pavilion where I was sitting and parked his car there instead of in a space. He lingered in his car and then got out to use the bathroom facility there. Maybe I overreacted, but I left because there was no one else at the park and I felt uncomfortable being back there by myself.
My kids love it! Only iaaue is they only have baby swings. Would be awesome if they had swings for older kids too.
Perfect park for littles. A great combination of climbing apparatus, basketball courts, baseball diamond, & sand volleyball court (fenced in). Theres a.small pavilion with tables & bathrooms.
Good playground but missing swings for bigger kids and theres no water fountain.
Not much to it. But nice. Bathrooms needs attention though
Nice little park. Clean with good playground equipment, nice ball field.
A nice park with nice trails to walk, run and ride a bike! The only reason Im giving this park four stars is because sometimes Im there there are bees and trash on the ground.
To big play sets for the kids. Access to greenway trails. Never to crowded.
Nice and secluded with playground and bathroom within eyesight from shelter.
Needs some amusement park rides.
Small but fun playground. picnic tables under shade structure a plus. restrooms clean.
Lovely place to enjoy nature
Great layout for a park, the kids can play while you relax at the picnic tables and you can still keep your eye on them.
The place was very dirty inside and out..Had a birthday party and facilities were filthy.
Kids had a blast very nice facilities
Great place to park and run! Greenway connects to the Falls Lake trail after about 2 miles
Great park!!
Great park. Great spaces to play baseball and volleyball.
