Nice little cabins, lake with a fishing pier, trails, ets. We came for the 100 mile race in April.

Came down for the Umstead 100 mile race. The camp is very nice and well maintained. The trails are also very well maintained. Excellent location for the race.

Well developed with cabins and a lake with bass fishing.

The camp is beautiful and the cabins are nice. Unfortunately the close proximity to the airport means loud planes overhead every hour or so.

Beautiful park. Cabins for camping with inside lavatory for those camping fir the first time. They even have access to shower but you have to reserve those campsites in advance. Plenty of places to walk, jog or bike.

Beautiful area - great for running, walking, biking, and camping. Bath house is very nice.

The HQ for the Umsted 100 mile (24 hour) race. Great facility and a great race.

I spent 3 days here for the Umstead 100 Endurance Race and the park was wonderful. The cabins were very nice and in excellent shape for a publicly used rustic cabin.
