This place was fun to play. Definitely a little shorter course but it was good for a mid tier golfer to play. Greens were good and course was in good condition. They even give u some range balls at no extra charge when u reserve a tee time online. Definitely coming back.

This was a gorgeous and peaceful spot for a wedding away from the main downtown Raleigh hustle and bustle. Weve only had the opportunity to photograph one wedding here, and it was a great experience. Miranda, the event coordinator, was sweet, helpful, and managed everything with grace in spite of the heat. And that heat was INTENSE—the wedding we photographed was on one of the hottest days of 2019, so guests spent more time indoors than they might otherwise. Having the wedding entirely outdoors on such a hot day was challenging (so couples getting married in more temperate months might fare better!), but temps in the 90s notwithstanding, the outdoor pavilion was elegant, and there are many gorgeous vistas on the golf course grounds to make some beautiful photos. Hope to be back soon!

My favorite course in the Raleigh area by a mile. Great course layout, friendly staff, and nice facilities. The course has been one of the best maintained in the area throughout the summer and is almost always in great shape. Cant beat it for the money. Only suggestion would be to have a ranger driving through more regularly to maintain pace of play. The starters do a pretty good job, but there is usually one bottleneck when I play there on weekends. Otherwise, its a great course. Looking forward to the next round!

Great location for a wedding. The staff was very friendly and helpful with finding locations for wedding pictures. The indoor ballroom is only large enough for 50-100 guests, however there is a large outdoor pavilion that can be used for larger weddings. There are some great spots on the golf course for sunset pictures with the bride and groom.

VERY challenging but playable golf course. Its all about placement golf at this track. Track was in great shape too.

The River Ridge Golf Club is an exceptionally beautiful wedding venue here in the Raleigh area. This place is a jewel! Grass tee range, short game, and practice putting green. The staff is polite and welcoming. The course is creative and strategic without being overly penalizing. My Wife and I recently celebrated our wedding at this beautiful venue and it could not have gone better. Miranda is fantastic at helping you through all the ins and outs of the wedding, along with last minute changes. Also the golf course is challenging and in great shape as well!

First time ever being here, drove an hour from Fayetteville and man was it worth the drive! River Ridge golf is awesome. From the staff, to the practice facilities, to the beauty and technicality of the course itself nothing was underwhelming or disappointing. Everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful, there were many water stations so I never was dehydrated, and even if there were none they had multiple people riding around the course with water coolers and other things to help out golfers. It’s mid January and man for this time of year they really do their best to keep the course looking good. Greens rolled true.The starter was friendly, even when I mentioned it was my first time gave me some advice on a few holes and told me to hit them well. Indeed I did, broke 100 for the first time in my life with a 99 :) almost had a collapse on 17 and 18 but I pulled through. All of the positive reviews are warranted because this is just such a fun place to play, so many things to consider and think about while also admiring the beauty of the course. River ridge you’ve gained a fan for life!

A nice local track! Layout is fun and challenging and they keep it in good shape. Price is reasonable and you can usually find a fair deal on GolfNow. If you’re in the east Raleigh/Wake check this one off the list, you won’t be disappointed!

It closes before dark. Some young man and lady made us quit on 17. Not dark. First time I’ve ever seen that.

Played here 3 rounds between mid May and mid June. Great value. Challenging but very clean nice greens. Great layout and some nicely thought out holes. Well worth it at full price but we got on with golfnow for $30 bucks and played a replay round for $20 more. Best value

I recently had the pleasure of designing a styled shoot that took place at this Venue. The staff (Miranda Day) is so friendly and very quick at responding. The space itself is great. Accessible parking, beautiful scenery. It has a perfect area for ceremony/receptions to where you can enjoy the outdoor scenery, but still have some coverage. Check this place out for your venue!

This course is always in great shape. I would give it five stars if the layout had a little more length and challenge, but the large greens make up for the lack of overall length. One of Raleighs best all around public courses.

Miranda the event coordinator there was awesome. The venue is so pretty and everyone is very friendly. I would remove 1/2 a star, but it had nothing to do with the wedding. If you are having a wedding here its the best! The groomsmen went golfing the morning of the wedding and there was a golf pro - someone who worked with River Ridge in the golf area that was hassling the group to move faster. I get it, but it really put a dark cloud on their experience.My experience planning and having the wedding - 5 stars!

Just completed a 14 person golf trip to the Raliegh area. Everyone really liked River Ridge, and the pricing for the round was a steal, including range balls, making the course the best value in Raleigh. The course management was great, as we mistakenly showed up 30 minutes after our tee times, yet they were accommodating with our group to get us going, which we really appreciated, as it was my own fault. The course was challenging yet fair, with many undulating greens, & the course was in great shape for early in the season. Would love to get back to the course again.

River Ridge Golf Club is a hidden gem right outside of Raleigh! Its a gorgeous space for an outdoor wedding! I enjoyed working with them in March!

River Ridge is wonderful!! It is a beautiful event space, especially for weddings! The location is very convenient to downtown Raleigh. Also, the staff at River Ridge is beyond amazing. Id give them 6 stars if I could!

I got married here a couple of weeks ago, and Jamie and her team are awesome. Everything went smoothly from the second I booked the venue until the day of the wedding. The golf course was so green and beautiful in the background of my pictures. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to play a round of golf, or schedule any event!

WARNING: DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM OR DO ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY, READ BELOW!!!!!!I joined the gym in Clayton with a membership that required a YEAR (the first stupid mistake I made) commitment. We moved to the beach, and I tried to cancel, but the lady at the office said I had to wait until December 2016 and send in a formal letter in writing.Right around December I found out I had testicle cancer and the doctor said it needed to come out; they wanted to schedule an operation for the next day (so I forgot about sending in my cancel letter).I had my testicle removed and was isolated to the bed for the first week, couldnt do much of anything and was on drugs to keep me resting. The recovery time is six weeks, and today its February 6th, 2017.I called the office (after getting a nasty letter today threatening to sue) and told them the story; I explained I havent been to the gym in over six months, then told them I had cancer and a testicle removed. I asked them if they could cancel my membership and not make me pay for the last two months. They told me they could cancel the membership, but they still made me pay $178.00 which include an 18% late fee.Hows that for HORRIBLE service? They made a cancer survivor who was healing, and a Navy vet pay the late fee & membership even after explaining the entire situation.

Some of the best greens Ive seen in years. Ive played a ton of golf and would recommend this as one of the best golf courses in Raleigh. Weekly deals are to good to pass up on if you can get out of work in time!

Staff is very friendly and they are more than accommodating if you solely want to play as a twosome. I have made this my home course and play it most often.

Had an appointment with Miranda Day to tour the grounds and venue for my upcoming wedding. Beautiful! I was sold within 15 minutes... The sunset is just the icing on our cake.

Over the years Ive played River Ridge quite a number of times with our regular foursome, and it never ceases to impress. Its always in the best condition and the greens are great. Id highly suggest playing here after 1:00pm because the rates drop, and make sure you load up on beverages AFTER the turn... there is a small convenience store on the #10 tee behind the tee box :)

River Ridge is an all around solid golf course. Nothing about it really will blow you away, but it is tough to find any glaring faults here. I play here regularly and always find it enjoyable.

I have played several tournaments here and the staff is very helpful and professional and the course is always in great shape . Definitely recommend playing.

Love the layout of the course but the greens hold this course back from being a top rated course in this area. Time to change the grass on the greens. To many times the greens are in bad shape. Spend the money and save in the long run. it could get a 5 star from me if this would happen.

I would give this place 4 stars, but I cant enjoy my golf game due to the bugs.
