I spent my birthday weekend last year at Painting Miles at a Sarah Sedwick workshop. I highly recommend Painting Miles. I loved everything about the weekend there. Painting Miles brings in the best experienced painters and teachers, the space is just beautiful and the workshops are administered and organized very professionally. Apart from Sarahs excellent teaching and Monicas (Painting Miles owner/administrator) attention to detail, what I appreciated most was the pace of the workshop itself. Ive been to other workshops where I ended up exhausted halfway through. I appreciated the on time start and finishes with well planned breaks and catered option lunches. I enjoyed the other workshop participants as well and have kept in touch with several other artists since the workshop. I will definitely go to another workshop here as soon as I can.

I have attended three different workshops organized by Monica Linares the owner of Painting Miles. They were all different and all very successful at immediately welcoming and assuring the students felt comfortable to fully participate in the workshop. A lot of room to work, not overbooked. Comprehensive information on what to expect and bring prior to the workshop. She has even had gourmet food catered in if you chose not to go out for the lunch break. Every time a great experience from fantastic instructors!

I love Painting Miles! I think its a perfect place to reunite great painters and a community interested on art. I took a class here once. Amazing space, great location on the outskirts of Raleigh, and inspiring teachers. There was lots of light and room in the studio. Was also pleasantly surprised to find that the location is in a real artist studio with many other wonderful artists in the rooms surrounding the class space.

You will for sure be satisfied and learn SO much about art and its impact by doing anything with Painting Miles. Each workshop is very organized and filled with people that are passionate about art. The artists that are brought in are sure to meet, or even surpass, any expectations! I would definitely give this a shot :)
