A great group of people runs this place! We first came for the North Pole room, and it was a pretty new room, so they were still working out the kinks (which they had mentioned). We loved it, and escaped, but Mary Lou was so great and encouraged us to come back for Tacky Christmas. We have been here twice now, and had so much fun in both rooms (Tacky Christmas and North Pole)! Definitely coming back.

I’ve played every room at this location with my brother-in-law and played two of them with both my wife and my mother.This location has a great, friendly staff with some good games. I’m going to do brief reviews on each room that are spoiler-free.Parking here can kind of suck as there is a small lot off the road but the parking is free. The lot is very dangerous though as cars are parked parallel blocking both sides as you exit and the parking lot is tight. There’s a lobby with some props for photos after each game and they moved buildings since I went earlier this year so their rooms are more spacious now. Now onto the rooms:Temple of Room: Win - 51:18This room allowed up to four from what I remember. It’s a small room, but it flows very well. The puzzles weren’t all just locks and had some interesting concepts that were fun. There were no logic jumps in this room and it flowed very linearly. Great room with some good design elements and props.Locker Room: Loss by a few minutesI only have six losses out of the 25+ rooms I’ve played now. This room has a lot to it and playing it with only two people puts you at a disadvantage I think. This room is the most lock-heavy at this location...which makes sense since it’s the locker room. This room does have a puzzle I hated that pretty much cemented our loss and took 5-10 minutes from us due to different interpretations than what it was designed for. Probably my least favorite at this location, but still not a bad room.A Very Tacky Christmas: Win - 58:55The most spacious room and the most family friendly. This room is very non-linear and can have multiple people working different things. This was my mother’s first room and as a Christmas addict, she loved it. The decor is great. The puzzles were actually challenging if you forget it’s Christmas themed. None-the-less, excited for the new Christmas Room they’re adding to compliment this one.The Green Room: Win - 57:55A music-based room that was pretty good. On par with the challenge of the locker room which I think is their hardest. This room was neat and had a few tricks, although I have seen them before. There was one logic jump I think that could’ve been better had it had a paper or clue with it but it was a good room. More people might make this room more complex though.Either way, great location that I thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t wait to play more here in the future.

We had a way better time at this local, family owned small business than the big commercial chain we went to for my birthday. We did their Tacky Christmas room with a large group, and had a lot of fun. I really appreciate that Mack was monitoring properly, and caught that we had a lock code correct, but had not put it into the lock correctly. Thank you to your family for making our family visit a fun time.

The green room was great. Had great players who worked together even though we didnt even know them. We got lucky for that!! But we were told not many people dont make it out with time to spare if they even get out!! We will return when we go back to the Raleigh area.

We had a team building event here recently and the entire group had a great time! The owners are helpful, polite, and accommodating. The room was challenging enough for all of us while still entertaining. Well definitely be back.

Went here with my family for the Tacky Christmas room and there arent enough words to describe how amazing and just how much fun we all had during the hour trying to help Santa escape the chimney. We went there for my nephew and Im telling you what, I think all the adults there had just the same amount of fun if not more than he did. The room was brilliantly designed and the difficulty level was honestly hard. Mac had mentioned earlier that it was a 50% success rate and he was not kidding. If you think youre walking into an easy win, youre mistaken. We were able to finish within seconds and the rush was thrilling. Mac was very helpful and a wonderful host for us as we made our way through the room. It was just a very warming experience, especially so close to the holiday. If you havent already tried an escape room here, its a definite must. I will go again, for sure!

Had an amazing experience playing A Very Tacky Christmas! Mack greeted us outside and everything. We used a combination that didnt work correctly and he caught it right away so it preserved our great experience. We had a lot of new people and he was patient with us. If you have ever had a bad experience at another place try this place out. Just an amazing experience and my family agrees!

This is what my daughter wanted to do with her friends for her 11th birthday. The kids had a blast. She chose the unreal room which is for ages 9 to 13. The whole experience was great. I hope to go back and do one myself.

I went with co workers and friends. We did the Christmas room and it was SO MUCH FUN! So much creativity goes into making their rooms and it’s obvious! We couldn’t stop laughing! We just finished the Unreal Room as a birthday party for our twin sons. The kids had a blast, and loved all of the clues and puzzles. The room had a lot of cool surprises! Highly recommend! They declared it the best birthday party ever. Thank you!

I have played a lot of escape rooms. The room I played was very fun and entertaining. Staff was friendly and responded to a minor issue very quickly and friendly.

Average rooms as far as difficulty and not the most elaborate setup. If youve been to a Breakout, this will seem like a big let down. I think it is relatively cheap, easy and quick to get in and out of, and they accommodate small groups well. Good for team building and other events.

Jane and the staff were awesome! They worked with our large group to accomodate what we needed for a fun, successful team building event. I would highly recommend Tic Toc Escape if you are looking for a company outing. The location is also great. Lots of options for places to go for food and drinks prior to starting and after you finish the escape rooms.

This is the second time Ive done an escape room. This was my first time at TTE, and it was... alright? I was expecting more. The props & decoration werent particularly exciting and it didnt seem like a ton of effort had been put into the layout. It was an enjoyable hour, but I cant say that it was a place Id return to.

Consistently has great rooms, one of our favorite escape room places! Family run and such nice people, highly recommended !!

Stopped in today just to check it out. It seems really cool and a lot of fun for small groups. Its even a great date night idea as they have challenges customized for 2 people as well. I look forward to actually getting a small group of friends together and trying this place out. Once I do Ill update my rating and review.

We just went there today and my group had a great time! We did The Green Room - the hardest they currently have - and we were impressed with how many puzzles they had and how they all fit within the theme. It felt fresh, with several things Id never seen done before. The staff was nice and attentive and Id love to do the Christmas themed one where you have to save Santa!

Checked out this place when visiting NC. This is not a big facility, like most secret rooms. The room we as a group did was fun. It was a 4 person room. The difficulty itself was challenging but some of the props in the room could be improved. The staff here are super helpful and happy to be here. They are gonna make sure you have a good experience. I would definitely go back here.

We drove down from Greensboro to see some friends and do their Temple of Room escape. It was well worth the drive and the cost of the game. The clues and puzzles were a lot of fun to work on, and the decorations were on point. Staff was friendly too which is always good. I would definitely recommend this place. Only warning I feel the need to mention is that their rooms are meant for small groups. Not a bad thing, thats just a limit of the space they have.

My fiance and I took on the Green Room and had a blast! It was jam-packed with puzzles that would allow for any group to split up and work on multiple puzzles at the same time. What truly made our experience great was the amazing customer service from our game master and the owners, Mack and Marylu. We cant wait to come back and check out the rest of their rooms!

Ive done one room here, but it was fantastic. The staff were courteous and helpful, the rooms were well themed with interesting and unconventional puzzles. Participants always had something to do, and were not blocked by one puzzles result. The props/puzzle pieces were in good condition and none of the puzzles failed because of a missing/broken piece. I will definitely be returning.

So this was a great date night. Possible spoiler alert.During the escape, I managed to guess one of the combinations to one of the locks. It was sheer luck and randomness that the couple we were with got into a mr. And mrs. At the very beginning that sent my brain into a word association game. I have ADD so that randomly happens.Our host was super chill about it and encouraged us to go back to the step that my accident allowed us to skip over. We escaped successfully and had an overall awesome time.

Ive been to 2 of the rooms here and I really enjoyed both. 4 and 6 people were the size of our parties. The rooms are challenging with good puzzles but are not so obscure as to be impossible. Also Marley our host was great. We were supposed to start at 830pm but one in our group went to the wrong escape room and was going to be 30 minutes late! Marley said it was no problem and that we could start late and was gracious and took it in stride. She stayed late with the other staff so we could complete the room. I want to do the third room they have and I hope Marley is there when I go back, she was great.

We did Temple of the Room. And it was great! We beat it just under the wire, and the people working there were fantastic.

We had a great time at the Tacky Christmas Escape Room at Tic Toc Escapes! Our host was great, and the room was challenging but also not TOO hard. Would definitely go back for another room!

Tic Toc escapes helped me to customize one of their escape rooms for asking my friends to be my bridesmaids! They were so accommodating and creative, my friends were surprised and we had so much fun. They also didnt give any of the secrets of the room away while helping me plan, so I was able to fully enjoy the experience. Definitely recommend for your special events!!

This is a late review, I wanted to do this before but forgot. We had a really fun time getting out of the room there were 6 of us in the sports room and it was a great time. If you need something to do one afternoon or evening this is a great activity to try. Oh and by the way, we escaped!

My family and I visited this escape room for my daughters birthday. Some of us had visited an escape room before and some had not. Our party was from 8 to 76 years old and everyone had fun. We did The Locker Room - no sports knowledge was necessary and everyone had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I highly recommend this escape room.

It was our first time going to an escape room and they made it an amazing experience. My son and I are now hooked and are trying to plan more visits. The temple of room escape room is great for small groups and made for a great time with just the 2 of us.

Ive been to 4 different escape rooms in the San Francisco area and this one compares to them and was better then most of them. We did the locker room and the puzzles were tricky but not to frustrating. Everyone in our group of 8 had a blast!! Do it! Evan was great!

This was my first time at an escape room, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were extremely professional, helpful, and fun, and the whole experience was smooth and overwhelmingly satisfying. Two of my friends had done escape rooms before in another city, and both said that this was the best one theyd done. We did the Temple of Room, which is a 2-4 person room with a linear puzzle style that was engaging and deliciously challenging without getting into that weird adventure game issue of the solutions only making a vague kind of sense. When you got an answer, it was pretty clear that it was the answer while still being challenging to find. We didnt get frustrated at any point, despite getting stuck a few times, and the two little nudges we were given didnt feel like they cheapened the solution, which kept the end feeling satisfying. I would definitely suggest this room - though keep in mind, the room itself is surprisingly small, and four large adults may have some trouble navigating it.

Enjoyed the escape room experience here for the first time last month. Puzzles and clues were very well done without any mistakes, bad assumptions, or gaps in logic. Would certainly go there again to do another room sometime soon. The room that we did is probably best done with 6-7 people so you can work in small teams in parallel.

VERY friendly staff. My group had a lot of fun. Only downside is there is only 1 room with a 60 minute limit; however, that hour was a blast!

My family went there with my daughter for her 17th birthday (her idea) and we had a blast! We did the music room and got out just in the nick of time! (with a little help from our friendly hint-giver Sophia) :) I would like to go again and would recommend it to others for a fun and unique experience

Walked in expecting nice experience. Confused when we were suddenly walked to a random room and “locked” in . Very strange. Not only that, but there were “puzzles” and challenges we had to complete to “escape”. Worst restaurant ever.

Went on the Santa escape one. It was super challenging and we didnt save Santa in time but it was still tons of fun.

Great and fun way to spend an hourWas looking for something to do while spending the weekend in town. Happened to find out about tic toc while googling activities and decided to give it a try. It was our first visit, so we were a little nervous about what to expect and if we would hinder others in there with us (we actually ended up going through by ourselves, due to the bookings, which was nice). The staff was very nice and helpful. They keep an eye on the room while a puzzle is being worked. They are available to provide as much or as little assistance as you want. We figured out about 70% of the puzzles without asking for a clue. Since there wasnt a group right after us, they let us finish by providing clues to the ones we hadnt solved yet to complete it.Looking forward to going there again soon.

Just after Christmas, my family and I completed the holiday themed room. The room had a cute theme, and the staff was very friendly and experienced. My family loves games and logic puzzles, and had a wonderful time trying to help Santa escape from the chimney. A couple of us had done an escape room once before, but most of us were trying it for the first time. We had one member who had been a little nervous about claustrophobia, but they felt completely fine and comfortable the whole time (the room was relatively large and bright, and didnt feel closed in at all). We managed to beat the timer, but only with a few minutes left! It was definitely challenging, but not impossibly so. We had a lot of fun with family bonding time, and found it to be a great way to spend an afternoon out of the house at the holidays.

This was one of the most fun activities we have ever done! The owners have done a meticulous job with the room designs and decorations. I really cant recommend this fun activity enough. The family that owns Tic Toc is very sweet. You should definitely give them your business!

We booked a private room for my sons birthday. The guys had a great time and escaped from the room cheering and stoked with a minute left. The staff was friendly and easy to work with.

Was my first escape room but was with 6 others that have been to a few and I agree that it was a little hard to connect some clues. It was very fun experience though. I could tell the staff put a lot of time into all the different type clues, some were just almost impossible to solve. I do recommend trying this escape room.

The hour I was in the escape room flew by -- it was a ton of fun. I recommend going with a group of people, makes for a much more enjoyable experience. Ive been a part of a couple Tic Toc Escape events and every time was an intriguing and exciting experience that I never wanted to miss. The group & I always manage to escape up to the very last seconds. Its a thrill no one should miss and should be a part of. Whether its a night out on the town with friends and family or a date your looking to entertain and have a good time with. Its time well worth spent and fun moments to remember.

Had an awesome time at tictoc with some friends on a girls night out! It was fun to see how my friends and I worked as a team to try to solve the clues. It was challenging and we really had to think outside the box. Sadly, we did not make it on stage in time but I cant wait to go again and try other rooms!! Fun and clever. We escaped Tacky Christmas. There were lots of things to solve, mostly logic puzzles. The staff was very friendly and very organized.

Nice fun spot, good for activities in groups (family or teams). The quests are not that difficult, the hardest part is to act as a team and be organised so that all information gets used.

The Green Room was recommended by a a friend who plays lots of escape rooms. It was very good with original puzzles (both easy and challenging). The staff are amazing and made sure our game was fun. I would recommend this escape room to first timers and avid escapers alike.

Excellent escape room, tomb of room, great for small party with just enough difficulty to make it challengibg without ruining the fun. Very friendly staff well worth a visit if you wanna spend an hour with clise friends or family and dont want to waste it in front of the TV. Have fun. :)

Great staff. Clean clever rooms (We did Locker Room). We got out with 1 minute to spare, but we took 3 hints. Some of our group had not done an escape room before and loved it.[Ha! I get a laugh out of some of the lower reviews complaining about getting out of the room too soon. Lighten up! This room was plenty hard and we all had a great time... and after all we all really want to escape dont we? I recommend ignoring these bloviated reviews.]
