A nice trail to walk along the river. Has a bench swing which I enjoy while visiting with a friend. Parking, kids area which is closed. Do to virus. Has amazing tree trunk cravings!! As well as restrooms/ not sure if those are open.

This is a Beautiful place to hang out. You could bring food or barbecue here. Walk alongside the Puyallup River and swing in the swing with your girlfriend.

The park is way to find, access, and exit. It has handicapped accessible features. There is adequate free parking, a restroom, and covered group picnic area with a BBQ.NOTE - The restroom, even with security cameras, is used by local druggies. In three miles we encountered a dozen street people, half with bikes, with no solicitations or other encounters. Only men were using the trail alone; women always in pairs.If you found this post to be helpful please consider a thumbs-up.

Love walking the paved trail and off sometimes down to the water.Glad the homeless encampments were driven out.Great for my doggies.poo theres no off leash doggie park area.

Nice little park with full restrooms, drinking fountain, a large covered area with picnic tables for when it starts to rain. A large kids playground and fair amount of room to spread out a blanket. Riverwalk Trail starts a block away and rides past the parks so you get a lot of people watching.

Beautiful well kept park. Highly recomend. A walk here.

The playground is pretty small but the kids still love it! Its right on a walking/biking trail that runs along the river which is nice. My favourite part is the amazing wood sculpture that is featured.

I love to go to this little park. Its close to everything, but it is tucked away, almost hidden. My favorite part is the carved tree. There is always something to see that I may of missed the last time I looked. It is very unique. Take a few minutes and check it out.

Nice park with free parking, restroom and easy access to several trails with nice views including along the river.

Bathroom has too many needles hanging from sharps container. Not safe for children. The playground is fun. The swing overlooking the river is cute.

Not bad for a tiny Puyallup park. Park rangers were out quite a bit keeping things as tidy as possible though.

Its a really nice park that recently put in a swing on chains that over looks the River. And it was very warm that day, and I took advantage of the the peaceful swingin on the swing time of a bout a half hour. Plus the bike trail runs through it.and I like riding my bike through it alot.

At Veterans Park there is a tree that is very fascinating, someone carved fish animals spiders you name it its on there very interesting a must see place....

Pretty tiny

Its a very nice and maintained park from the city. Unfortunately junkies occupy the bathrooms at lengthy periods, sometimes hours, and leave needles laying about. The park itself is clean there just maybe homeless people sleeping on benches around you.

I walk here all the time, more because its close than for what it has to offer.. But its cool. Pretty carved stump, kid friendly, little BBQ area.

The tweakers at Veterans Park are a special breed of ultra-tweaker. Said to have cat like reflexes, these tweakers have been known to diggle where diggling was once thought impossible. Able to sweep a room and remove anything of value in a moments notice, these government created super tweakers have been released into the general population to create chaos and overthrow the structural integrity of our system and create anarchy amongst Americas citizens.

Nice place...except for the homeless people leaving there mess. Bloody toilets and broken down vehicles. I wont take my granddaughter there again!

Theres a little trail to the River and it is just right under the bridge. Nice paved path that leads to shopping.

I stopped by to throw a line in the water and saw Heroin needles on the ground in multiple spots.

A small quaint park with bbq pits and covered tables. Jungle gym for kids and a swing by the water for adults.

So, Veterans Park, aka the 5th Street Bridge Park as known to some of the local Puyallup Folk. Its one of my favorite parks in Puyallup, theyve got a lot of great tables to sit at covered, and a womens and mens restroom thats always kept clean. There was a couple of handfuls of local residents walking around with the kids, I ran into three of my friends by random chance while I was walking my dog in the late evening. There is a recently built big toy in the center of that Park area right at the beginning of the bike trail that heads up along the river. The only thing I could complain about is the local Puyallup Police Department shut off all of the plugins in the covered areas permanently saying that the residents in the area where stealing power from the city, LOL. Really, right? LOL
