Love Clarks Creek! its beautiful, its clean, for most part feel safe there, good, clear wifi & cell reception. People are usually pretty courteous. I started taking my 8 month old puppy there in 2013. I had 2 separate incidents specifically in the fenced dog arena where my guy was attacked by pure bred choco Lab, his owner was REALLY REALLY EFFIN RUDE! Thankfully he was not hurt too bad. 2nd time also in fenced dog arena, also pure bred blk Lab. We followed rules but guess they just didnt like us. Who knows why but weve never use the dog area since. Hes 7 yrs old now. We still like to walk the trails tho & take dip in creek.
This is a beautiful and peaceful park. There was plenty of shade for us to enjoy the evening, due to the many old trees in the park. The nature and hiking trails are nice as well.
Surprisingly tranquil considering its location. Very clean and lots options for your enjoyment. A little hiking, a little tennis, stuff for the kids...
Overall, I liked this loop, I went with my aunt and we had a great time! Although I gave it three stars, I wouldn’t return. The trail goes up and down a lot (but I like it). The first quarter of the trail is in the woods and the rest is a mix between the road, trails, and the woods again.Like most trails, it had many connecting trails that can be confusing. But, one thing that I liked about this trail is that it had signs whenever there was a turn so you knew you weren’t lost. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend it is because the trail went on the road and even in neighborhood alleyways sometimes. It just felt awkward passing in-front behind and on the side of people’s houses.
Possibly the best place for fresh air in Puyallup! Its a thriving complex ecosystem, but it is very large. The QR code assisted Loop Map is helpful (good job, thanks!), Ive been walking there for decades and cant remember it all.
Our puppy loves to come here for walks and end up at the little dog park, she loves the fact there is a stream, and so many people to say hi to.
I live in N. Tacoma. I take this back road to go to DuPont to visit family. The drive along Clarks Creek, past old Boise Cascade, through Steilacoom is a little longer than going down I-5 (unless its commute hours) but so beautiful and relaxing vs I-5! We stop by dam and see salmon jumping up from bay into Clarks Creek in the fall, recently have been seeing a White Swan wintering there. Lots of different variety of ducks. Eagles, Herons, Lots of different birds. Sea otters and seals in bay.... just lovely alternate to crazy frantic traffic!
Great spot with hiking, tennis court, baseball, playground and a creek. Love taking my pup to the dog park! Lil muddy but just wear your work shoes!
Good hike lots of cool trails
Beautiful park full of woods and trails.. baseball fields, big toys for kids.. great place for the family, the pets, and to go on a stroll solo as well. A way to get connected with nature in the city!
Very nice path. Clean, no homeless people to be seen. The dog park was pretty nice, too.
Such a great place to get in cardio with your four legged friends! Been hitting these trails 14 years now. Thank you community for keeping this such a safe, clean environment.
This is a great little urban park with a little bit for everyone. Nice trails along the creek, more technical trails up the hillsides leading back into the forest, playgrounds, sports fields, restrooms and a dog park. Its easy to spend a couple hours and not realize where the time has gone, definitely bring the family but its also a great place to get a run in by yourself.
Great place to go and relax, take your Dog for a walk and connect with nature again.
Great park for the whole family
Very cool park. Great for kayaking or picnics
Awesome park!
Great place to have a picnic with the family or just take a short nature walk with the kids.
Its very muddy at the entrance during the rainy seasons! But otherwise its great, and typically a great group of dogs and humans. Water source near by that they can play and drink at.
A nice place to take a walk.
Gorgeous park for a quick walk in the woods.
Walked back by the tennis courts and followed the main trail for awhile and for some reason we took a tiny trail up and down a bunch of hills and we were lost for hours probably walked 12 miles before we got back to the parking lot. Be careful the park is HUGE and you can easily get lost on the trails that go on forever back there miles and miles of trails great for hiking or walking the dogs
We love going for walks and playing at this park. Great ball field and tennis courts and the kids like the playgrounds. Is a nice walk across the street around the duck pond and along the creek.
Easy hike, the herons nests are amazing
A relaxing place to regroup and enjoy your time! ️
Very serene and beautiful.
