Nice park with a large covered picnic area. Rustic but well kept. Very nice boat ramp on Shell Creek and plenty of boat parking. They have a cool bike area with tools. Watch out for wasps nesting under the tool rack!! I got stung by one, dirty little.....

Heading north on Shell Creek. Only 4.6 miles are open. Big blockage at the 5 miles mark. Fallen Oak.

Great little nature trail park with a boat ramp. The boat ramp is a little steep an awkward but great little access just need a little strategic planning when backing your trailer up. They have an actual bathroom now!! Not sure how often its checked on so make sure to bring a roll of tp or napkins just in case.

Great access to the river for kayaking. The river is beautiful. Lots of shade so your not going to be in the sun while on the river.

The boat ramp is way too steep to put kayaks into and take out of the water. The side normally used for kayaks is closed for some reason. The creek itself is beautiful and relaxing upstream. I didnt go downstream.

Great launch site whether ina power boat or...better yet...a kayak. You can paddle up stream or down for about three miles either direction. Lots of animals life as well as beautiful scenery. Paddled there twice in a month. Cant wait to go back.

The park is very nice. There were lots of flowers in bloom. Unfortunately there are several invasive exotic species that are taking over several areas. The creek that flows through the park is very pretty.

Really nice Creek for kayaking but the park isnt much. Some picnic tables, minimal walking trails and a port-o-john. Not a great destination for anything other than kayaking. I have seen cyclists stopping there to rest....itself isnt much. Port-o-john, a half dozen picnic tables, a lih
