History Park is charming. They have done a great job of preserving the historic cottages. The butterfly gardens are amazing with lots of butterflies. It is also a good birders spot for water birds and other birds. The farmers market is nice and there are picnic tables there too.
A small farmers market set in an idyllic park. The vendors are extremely friendly. There is a variety of food available, as well as a few crafts.
What a great place. The historical buildings are open for tours and you get to see some old Florida homes. Today there was a farmers market with other vendors of foods, arts and crafts, and services. From 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Free parking!
Excellent, well-maintained park that showcases some of the historic homes built in the area. Literally moving these classic homes is a creative way of preserving part of the citys history, and history lovers and outdoor enthusiasts will love it. Its location helps keep the experience very relaxing, peaceful, and quiet. Definitely recommend to anyone trying to learn more about Punta Gordas history and looking to enjoy the outdoors.
