Hector House was where Punta Gorda signed the charter making it a city. The House was torn down, but the Plaza remains in remembrance. Its a great place to settle on a bench with some coffee or bring your own chess or checker pieces as your table awaits. On Saturdays the area is alive with Farmers Market vendors. Keep an eye open in December for local crafters yarn bomb decor.
