Wonderful museum with 2 hangars of aircraft. There was only one or 2 others here besides us on a Saturday afternoon. In Hangar 2, you can climb into the cockpit of 2 aircrafts! We spent a good 2 hours here. It’s free for active duty military members (not dependents) and $10 for adults. I think it was well worth it.

Much more in depth than you would believe. Was told on of the best aircraft restoration teams works out of this museum. They were working on a B-29 Superfortress which is extremely rare these days(maybe 2-3 still flying) that my grandfather was a navigator/bombardier on and was shot down/POW in Russia during WWII. Let my grandmother sit in the seat he sat in and made accommodations for her to get up there on zero notice. The Chieftain was there and ended up doing an article on my grandma and grandpa too. Great place with lots of different aircraft and other aerospace ‘artifacts’.

So glad I took a chance on this museum. Truly a wonderful gem in Pueblo. The volunteers know a ton about the history of the contents here, but the tour is self guided. It took me 2 hours to get through everything here. Lots of little fun pieces here thatll make you go woah, they have THIS?!

This place was truly an accidental find. We were heading from one destination to another on our Colorado vacation when I noticed the sign for this Air museum. Well worth the short trip off the highway. It truly had some incredible planes. Dont let the outside fool you as there is very little visible outside as you drive in. The staff there is all volunteer and they are incredibly knowledgeable about the planes housed within. cost my wife and I less than 20 bucks with the senior discount. They have a B-29 that was rolled onto the concrete pad prior to the hangar being built. They actually built the hangar around the B-29. Even my wife that likes airplanes about as much as she likes chicken, which is not at all, enjoyed herself. Do yourself a favor and go by there dish support the efforts of this group and the museum. You will truly be happier for doing so.

We really enjoyed this museum. It was fascinating reading or watching interviews with the people that actually used the machines on display. We met Bill who just turned 100 a WWII vet. He was an incredible uplifting personality! We will pray for the continued success and the volunteers that make it happen. This place must be preserved. They have ambitions to expand and are looking for wider support.

Tucked away, this aviation gem is a must visit. From the minute you walk in youre engaged by very knowledgeable staff. As you enter into the museum area youre giving a brief breakdown of the history of what happened at the location as well as some history of the aircraft that are on display. The Collection Rivals many bigger museums. The centerpiece of the collection is their B-29 Superfortress. This museum is a definite must see if youre in the area. Expect to spend at least 2 to 3 hours to see everything.

This museum is spectacular. We took a preschool group and some of the information was definitely above their heads, but the moms enjoyed it too. The stem lab was adjusted to be at their level and the kids especially loved to explore the planes and helicopters. The volunteers are VETS for the most part and extremely knowledgeable and passionate. The price was reasonable $5 per adult and kids under 7 were free. I will be back and I highly suggest the museum to others. Strollers fit and I used a side by side double with no problem.

We didnt know this place existed until a random thing came across Google. This aircraft museum for the price is great. Kids seven and under are free. They do military discounts but only for active and retired with their cards. It was $10 an adult without military. You can choose to get a guided tour from the gentleman at the front, we didnt because my 6 year old probably wouldnt have been as interested in it as my girlfriend and I. Either way we walked around the two large hangers and the grounds outside and my son loved it. There are plenty of aircraft to get into and look around as well as cool memorabilia that is scattered all over the place to look at. I wish I took pictures but we were just enjoying the moments. Definitely stop in for a day of learning and fun, you wont be disappointed.

This was a hidden gem for us on our road trip from Texas to Colorado. After checking what was in the area upon rolling into Pueblo, we noticed this and decided to check it out. This 2 hangar museum plus outdoor exhibit features a B-29, F-16, and F-15 among other legendary aircraft. The docents are very knowledgeable and clearly love being there and talking to people. We even met a soon to be 100 year old ww2 vet named Bill who couldnt be any nicer and energetic! Even the non aeronautical enthusiast will love this visit!!

The place is full of welcoming volunteers (most of them are veterans) who are more than welcome to walk you around the two buildings and outside lot. There is a TON of stuff to look at, from old models of planes like the Piper Cub, to more modern fighter jets like the F-15. In addition they have tons of odds and ends collected or donated from men who serviced from many different countries such as canteens, uniforms, and even the complete dress uniform of Carl Sitter, one of the four Medal of Honor Recipients from Pueblo. I recommend taking at least an hour and a half to walk around as there is just so much to see. Its really awesome to touch and walk into these pieces of aviation history and experience it for yourself (going into the bomb bay areas and looking into the cockpit is such a great experience.) I absolutely love this place!!!
