A small, but effective museum for conveying what life was like for those who lived and worked in this industry. Lots of photos and period artifacts. Museum staff was excellent and allowed us to stay during lunch time. Definitely worth taking the time to visit.

I love going to museums..I took my grandson for free day .. I learned so much about the history of the CF and I and Pueblo and surrounding counties.. you learn so much and you can feel so much history and everything you see.. its only $6 for adults and $4 for children and I recommend more people to check this out before steel worker was just a name; now going through the museum and has a lot more meaning than that now.. I plan to go back n take some family to appreciate the hard work that went into this town . Pueblo CO

We found this museum driving around Pueblo while visiting the area. The steel part of the museum includes more captioned photos than artifacts, which is fine because collectively they tell the tale of working in the steel plant. Victoria cued up two old videos for us, one on the steel making process and the other on creating steel railroad track. We didnt watch the third video on the company itself but its there for the viewing. The museum is housed in a former company medical building and the rest of the museum concerns this function in both photos and artifacts. Everything in the museum is well presented. My only regret is that there are no tours of the old plant, which is located just across the highway from the museum, but tours would be unsafe. The museum is the next best thing and leaving the museum I could identify the blast furnaces and other features or the plant Nice presentation, great staff, answers to any questions you may have, and a small entry fee. This is well worth seeing.
