Easy to sign up for activities and many different things you can do. Theres 2 different play grounds, 3 dog park pens, a baseball field, tennis courts, and newly renovated pool. They are in the works of rebuilding a couple of the buildings at the park as well which looks like they are going to be very nice!

Love this park. It has real swings and separate levels of play so you can keep little ones off bigger slides and climbing gyms. Plus nice place for soccer or a picnic.

It is a nice place to have a lunch. There is some equipment for the kids to play on and it is grassy. There are trees and a few covered areas for the picnic tables.

Big, well kept. Tennis courts, ballfields, bocce ball court, basketball court and three large separate dog park play areas. And swim center. Lots of construction summer 2020 because a new Community Center is underway.

Quiet suburban park, great for family outing!

The park is beautiful and quiet, has changed quite a bit since I was there when I was younger. I know that the dog park is really nice and I always loved going to the pool there, it had 3 diving boards and the last one was super high and extremely fun

The poway community park has many fun things to do. In the park area they have the local community pool which has been recently renovated. Also it has a base ball field; basket ball court, handicapped accessible rest rooms, a dog park with 4 enclosures.

A top park! Exceptional playgrounds- soft ground surface without mulch. Separate structures for 2-5yo and 5-12yo. Some unusual features like shower stand, balance beam. Bocce ball court! Several tables and grills. Easy, protected walk to pool and community center with restrooms. Also a skateboard park nearby. Several wonderful events hosted throughout the year!

I always enjoy coming to this park. Filled with wistful memories of when I was younger and fond, more recent ones. Its pretty and simple and is rarely crowded.

Dog loves the dog park here. But we moved so we may no longer be able to come here as often.. Its a very good dog park that has green grass.

Great burgers with a big meaty patty (not thin like in-n-out). Prices are a little higher but you can order the small fries because theyre not stingy & always put an extra scoop for you in the bad! 5 stars because great food & employees are happy & friendly

My daughter and I signed up for community clean up here one Saturday morning. There were a lot going on. Baseball games, little league soccer games, tennis games, birthday parties. On our way picking up trash and recycles,we saw newborn ducklings, and all kinds of wildlife.

Clean, well maintained park. You want to bring a towel to dry off slides and swings if you come in the morning.

Nice place to bring the kids. There are two main playgrounds in different sections of the park. Theres a dog park area with three different sections (for large, medium, and small dogs) thats one of the best is San Diego. There are baseball fields and large open fields near them.

Big park with lots of play equipments .. children love to play along those. Restrooms are there.

Nice baseball fields but the holes on the pitchers mounds need filling in and same with the catchers box.

Beautiful park located in the center of Poway. Lots of different activities to do here, from kiddie slides to skate park, ball park to dog park. There is even a pool here. Only thing I have issue with is more an American thing than the park. Ive seen people living less than 3 blocks away drive to the park. Sigh, expect full parking lots near Poway Rd.

Relaxing park, never crowded. Awesome play areas for the kids. There is actually two kids areas and each one has the older kid and younger kids playgrounds. Plenty of swings. The area on the north side has water mist poles that is nice to use in the summer. Lots of picnic tables and spots. Bocce, baseball, and tennis courts. One of the best things is you can always hear the bids chirping in the nearby trees.

Great park with two playgrounds. The west one has two water sprayers for hot days. The community pool is next to the east pool. The pool is awesome. Its a big pool with one driving board.

Good place to take the family.

This park is awesome it has a little of everything for everyone. Dog parks, two playgrounds, decent public bathrooms. My only complaint is how people do not pick up their trash before leaving.

I always come here for tennis. One of the few public courts with lights. The courts are pretty well maintained. In the fall it can get pretty dirty from all the leaves falling. But it can get busy so call ahead to see if there are classes or reservations made before making a trip out unless you dont mind waiting.

Great place for family time and outdoor parties. Numerous sporting venues with organized leagues. Senior center that supports a full program of activities.

Its big lots to do

Love the Poway community park. Came here for the winter wonderland and the Easter egg hunt. Both were simple to park and very family friendly.

The park us great for kids, dogs, or just a nice walk. However, parking can be difficult when theres an event.

Things are definitely getting out of hand when you start reading articles like this – the City of Poway in California is going to introduce biometric scans of skaters thumbs to allow or disallow entry into the skate park. One thing is making sure vandalism, bullying and disregard of certain rules don’t take place, but making a skate park look like you are trying to travel overseas and you are getting on a plane? What do you think about it – leave a comment, I want to know!Here’s the complete post from the San Diego Union Tribune website:“POWAY — City officials hope to reduce vandalism, bullying and other problems at Poway Skate Park by requiring that children and adults enter the park via a “biometric” thumb scanner.Skaters and visitors will only gain access through the park’s turnstile once their thumbprint is scanned by the device, which officials hope to have installed by Friday and functioning by April 19.Park users will be asked to register at the park starting tomorrow to coincide with spring break. Skaters will be required to sign a liability waiver, provide a thumbprint and have their photo taken. The photo and thumbprint will be uploaded to a computer. There is no cost for registration, and admittance to the park is free.Surveillance cameras also will be installed at the park, so that city officials can match video of violations with photos on file.
