Went for the first time today with my husband and four year old. We had a blast! The gentleman at the desk (who also conducted the show) was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond our expectations. He spent time after the show answering our questions (about the stars and about the equipment) and showing us all around the night sky. We saw Molecularium, which was about 20-minutes long and perfect for little ones who have a hard time sitting still. I recommend researching the shows before your visit to help you decide whether your child could sit through it. We ended up buying a family membership because we all had a great experience and look forward to our next visit.

Friendly service, and fun decorations!! Children will love coming here because of all the cute shows to watch, and space toys to try out. The employees are always so nice and helpful. Definitely a place to go for a family night out!

The planetarium was a bit less than I had anticipated, how ever I have very high expectation. If you do too: there is no rotating seating. Just a done projecter with reclining seats to view the show. The show was good, and they offer more than just evening sky shows which is nice. I viewed Into the Deep which explored deep sea life and exploration history. Admission is very affordable, parking is $2, admission $5. If youre in Portland looking for something interesting I would recommend stopping by.

Not great for young children. I enjoyed it even though its a bit vintage. My 5 year old complained of being bored the entire time though. Alot went over her head but she has started searching for the belt in the sky now.

Ok show. The younger boys liked it more than my teenage boy. The projector crapped out halfway through, but was offered a FULL refund.
