Favorite dog park in Portland! Very large and completely fenced. Plenty of grass and a bark chip path so it’s not as muddy as many local parks. There’s usually a water cooler to fill the dog bowls on a bench in the park but it has been empty a few times. It’s so large a space people don’t always see their dog go poo so look out when you walk in the grass. There is a free parking lot.
Great local dog park; lots of space for pups to run. 3 different entrances available if your dog gets nervous going in. A path around is about a quarter mile; going along the fence line is almost a half mile walk. Good parking but note Google maps points you to a dead entrance - go a little farther west to the road under the trees.
Great dog park, fully fenced with tons of room for walking and play.
Huge dog park!! A couple places to sit. Overall great for zoomies.
Expansive off-leash area!
Nice dog park.m. Really big! Connected to pier park. A nice place to walk and stroll
Nice big dog area. Lots of huge trees and great trails.
Best fenced dog park in town!
Hands down best dog park in Portland. Nice open field for the pups to run in. Highly recommend if you have a high energy dog like we do taking them out here.
Great dog park, tons of room for pups to run around. Nice little bridge over the tracks to Pier Park as well.
Great, large dog park that is fully fenced in for the doggies to run and play safely. Enjoyed walking through the Pied Park to get there. Other dogs and their owners were nice and respectful. Lots of shade from the trees and occasional picnic tables to enjoy while the pups play. We liked our visit and will be back again.
My dogs favorite dog park. Yes it is muddy and can smell like a farm but for my dog its like heaven. 5 stars for how happy he is running and playing. But be ready for a bath afterwards and bring boots.
One of the best dog parks I have been to. Was there for over an hour and not a single fight or disagreement amongst the dogs. All the dogs and owners were respectful. There is allot of space so you can move around the park instead of staying in one place.
Love this place. Gets pretty muddy in the winter at times but its a great place to run your dog and let them play with others!
My dog loves how big this park is. Shes a greyhound, so when she wants to run we come here. Water is available too, which is great!
Great dog park especially for high energy doggos by far my pups favorite spot
It a nice place to let your dog run and play. There are some nice big opens spaces for our dog to run her heart out. There are also plenty of trees for some nice shade on hot sunny days.
Great place to play with the fur babies
Great park, beautiful and secluded and away from traffic noise. Nice hiking trails.
Great space for dogs of all sizes. Lots of grass to keep the mud to a minimum in the rainy weather. Really enjoyed this place!
One of my favorite dog parks! So much space for them to feel free, while also being fenced in.
Great atmosphere. Lots of space. If its raining, bring boots.
I LOVE this dog park! It is totally fenced in and has plenty of room to throw a ball or Frisbee a long way without bothering anyone, and there are always dogs to play with for more social dogs. It can be a bit crowded on weekends, but generally not too bad if you go early. I have noticed that a lot of people dont pick up after their dogs, but Ive noticed that at a lot of places. Mostly, though, its pretty clean.
Beautiful park, HUGE space for dogs
Love it! Wide open spaces but secure gates and fences. The times I’ve been there the dog owners have been responsible and at the ready to take care of any doggy squabbles.
We go there pretty frequently. There is plenty of space for the dogs to get up to full speed. There is water in the summer, but they shut it off in the winter. The large trees and picnic benches provide spots to take breaks from walking laps. The patrons do a decent job of picking up after their pets. If you go, please bring extra bags!
Lot of fenced land for all the off leach dogs
This is my favorite dog park right now! Its fenced and off-leash with trees, grassy areas, a bark chipped path and drinking water for the pups. My dog and I love that big and little dogs are allowed all over the park. Hes a Pekingese (~16 pounds) and his best friends are a Great Pyrenees (shes 3x taller) and a Mini Aussie Shepherd. They all like to do different things; follow people, explore all the corners of the park, chase other dogs, play catch; and all of them have a grand time at the here.
Nice space for off leash walking. Always plenty of other dogs to meet and play with.
Our puppy loves coming here to be off leash & socialize with the other doggies! Gets super excited. Maintained well!
Took my dog and met up with a friend with her 6 month old pup. It was his time at the dog park. They had a wonderful time! There were a few other dog owners present and their dogs were social were also enjoying the day at the park. There are some shades areas and a picnic table you can rest while your fur-child has a blast. Fresh water is provided there with two water bowls. Personally, I prefer my pupper drinks straight from the faucet. Please make sure your pet has its immunization shots and is preferably spayed/neutered.
Big, fenced, and fun!
Fantastic dog park. Very large fenced area. Trees and picnic benches to sit at. Popular with other dogs to play with.
This park always so many furry friends for my very social Australian shepherd to play with. Its 100% fenced in and has a water feature and bowls for our thirsty pups. This is our FAVORITE park to go play at!
Such an awesome dog park! Everyone Ive met has been super friendly. So many great dogs. Tons of room. Theres a spigot and 3 dog bowls, small medium large. Has a port a potty outside the fenced park area by the parking lot.
Decent dog park. Very large fully fenced with a long circle path. No separate small dog pen. Overall decently maintained not the best dog park not the worst. City turns off water in winter so bring some to share.
Safe, fenced off-leash dog park
Theres no spigot for water, so bring some for your pup.
I love bringing dog here.
Huge dog park. It has an upper level and a lower level. The city brings in wood chips for the walking path which is nice. For the summer time the park has huge trees for shade and a water spout for dog water.
Great place to bring the dog to run!
Active but chill dog park with simple looping walking trail. Great walk/play combo!
Great place with dogs!
Plenty of space to poop
Very muddy! Took our Golden to Hair of the Dog for a wash right after
Good dog park in north portland. Lots of space for dogs to run around.
Very large fenced dog park with running water and room to play with others or alone. Nice mix of shade and open sky. City mows about once a month. Dog owners are always a mixed bag, but they seem slightly better here than other parks Ive been to.
Great local dog park! Avoid weekends as it gets crowded and is quite large. My dog is very friendly and agreeable, but still, the size and amount of dogs can be overwhelming and make recall more difficult
Great large gated dog park separated into two areas with trees and a couple of picnic tables scattered around. Theres also multiple points of entry/exit and a spigot with metal bowls for water active when its warm enough to avoid freeIng the pipes.
Easy-going, proper dog people, and nice dogs. Its big -- lots of room to run. I wish the fences were more secure. Especially along the road.
Great place for the dogs to make friends and get exercise. Big fenced in off leash watering station. My dog had a good time and so did I.
Great place for my boy to let out some energy! The humans are a little annoying at times, over sheltering their dogs. It always seems to be the small dog owners that like to flap their gums about our big hyper dogs. Theres a reason why we come here people. So they can run around, and wear themselves out, so they dont get into mischief at home. Use your brains.
This is a great fenced in dog park. It has a bark chipped path, water for the dogs, picnic tables, lots of grass and even some shady spots. Its a busy dog park with lots of good dogs and considerate owners. Bring your poopy bags and your socialized pup!
Get ready to get muddy in the winter months!
Nice place dog liked it very much people were friendly but most dog people are easy going place
Great dog park! One note, we have a small dog and she was able to go right through the fence! Not a problem for most dogs, ours just happens to be slightly larger than a squirrel.
Trash cans would be great!
Love taking my pup here! Fenced, water spiket and bowls, double door secure entrances, garbages, benches, and maintenanced!
Awesome wide open dog park
Fully fenced park that gets lots of visitors ranging from giant Great Danes to itty bitty Chihuahuas. The park is large enough that if you can almost always find an area away from the crowd if your dog is new to dog parks or just a bit nervous in crowds.
This is one of my favorite dog parks! Its completely fenced. There are a couple gates to get in and the place is huge! Plenty of trees and picnic tables if you need shade. The water fountain for the pups is on during non freezing months. There is a nice wood chipped path for those of us that like to get in a little walking and the people and pups are generally friendly!
Large off leash dogpark with two separate areas. One for small dogs and one for large dogs. During my visit all dogs could run from side to side with no gate separating them. It was very muddy with some puddles for some dogs who like rolling in mud. Limited seating for the owners. The dogs there were all enjoying themselves.
Huge off-leash fenced-in park. Its nice. I wish they would have the water spout on for the dogs for the warmer parts of winter, they really need it. Otherwise I would rate 5. Also, I frequently run into other dog owners who pretend they dont see their dogs pooing and I KNOW D**N WELL they saw it but they dont pick it up! Its infuriating!
I love the friendly people and dogs you met there. Great place!
This is one of my favorite dog parks. It can get a bit muddy in some spots, but what dog park isnt. There are vast fenced areas for the dogs to run and the people that go there are generally very nice.
While I want to like this park and keep going back on occasion, I notice that my dog behaves the worst at this park. I think its from too many experiences of getting into fights with other dogs. The park is huge, which is great for walking around in, but its so large that sometimes an owner is hundreds of feet away from their dog chatting with others.
Very nice fenced in park for the pups and friendly people. I will definitely return.
The best, Ive seen one dog fight and it was over in a second and it was over a toy. Good dog people, huge, and we go every day so we know.
Chimney Park had the best off leash dog park in St. Johns. Its fenced doggie area is the size of a football field. So there is plenty of space for the doggies to run and play.
Best dog Park I have ever Been To!
Best dog park around
Large open off leash area. Everyone was friendly.
Nice, large dog park. Wood chip path around means its not too muddy.
My dogs enjoy this park. Friendly fenced and fresh water available park benches and shade to relax while dogs run and play.
Nice clean, large, relatively flat dog park. We had an Aussie meetup there and it was lots of fun and accommodated our group nicely.
After being to many dog parks in Portland, Ive been to this park a number of times and I have to say its the best Ive been to so far. Its completely fenced in, so you can let your dog roam without worrying about the random arbitrary barriers, and its really expansive. I dont know if the other reviewers were blind, but I didnt see very much poop while walking around and Ive been there several dozen times. The park does get a little muddy in the winter, but its Portland lol. Definitely would suggest visiting here if you havent.
My dog loves this park, it is very large and fenced in. There isnt a lot of parking but it is sufficient if you park on the side of the road when you pull into the park.
Favorite of mine when visiting from Massachusetts. I love going there with my dog nephew.
The park is huge and has double gates to get inside which I love.
This place was huge! It also wasnt too muddy, and has a nice big water station. There arent many places (if any?) to sit, but there are trees and shade. I only saw one small trashcan on the other side of the fence that I had to treck over across the field to. There is a porta-potty which was nice for me at the end hahah.
Great dog park. Connected to Pier Park.... so go for a walk!
Fleas, fleas, fleas.
My favorite park for letting our dog run to his hearts content. Spacious, fairly quiet, often cleaner than other dog parks Ive been to.
Pretty big fenced in park. There is a water spigot which is turned off from November until April. In the winter the place gets very muddy, but they bring wood chips in periodically to cover up the walking track. There are some picnic tables, but I would be cautious about eating on them since the puppies often jump up on them. There is a decent amount of parking.Great community of people, the dogs rarely fight (although there is plenty of wrestle, chase and barking).
Really great fenced in dog park. Lots of space to run around and a water fountain. Sometimes tricky to get to, big tractor trailers occasionally clog up the turn lane.
Big fenced dog park that generally has enough dogs for ours to have a good play time. Not a whole lot of shade and very used so the ground gets torn up and it usually has some warning up about illness or invasive plants.
Best, largest, cleanest, most well behaved dogs/owners of any dog park Ive ever been to.
Great dog park. Plenty of ground to walk. Enteresting people, and friendly dogs. Not too far from Kelley Point Park. Terminals.
Great park for your pooch. Porta potties are there too
Great, fenced-in dog park
