Good spot. Sort of hidden. You wont know it is there unless you look. Lots of shady spaces to sit and hang out as well as spots to kick a ball, roll down hills, etc.

Ideal park for anything and everything from dogs to picnics. Complete with basketball courts, tennis courts, and kids park. Surrounded by bike lanes from every main road side of the park, easily accessible by any means. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The energy is really great, but be careful you might actually make a new friend!

Lame playground with taggings all over it. They built a beautiful school but didnt do anything about the run down park. How?

We love this part! My kids have been coming here since they were babies and now it is right behind there Elementary School. So even though we moved away we still get to come from time to time. So much area for them to run around on and play sports and the playground as well. Most of all what they love is the round about!

This park has so many attractions besides being a quiet place with trees and grass. Keep active with tennis, football, baseball, and soccer. Playground with the usual swings slide, and merry-go-round. Theres even a hill to sled on for those 2 days of Portland snow. Not a lot of walkways so it can get muddy when it rains.

Review №12

Its a beautiful park with lots of open space and great play structures for little ones to use. My kiddo loves it, and so do I.Problem is that lately, at least during the school year, every time my 2 y/o and I go here theres a group of kids from the nearby school who are smoking pot by the public bathrooms and filling the playground with smoke. Weve had to leave the last couple of times because it was so bad.

It bustles with activity for people of a wide age range

To be honest i realy want to like this park and give it more stars but honestly theres usually a group or even a couple groups of teens to young adults smoking or using other illicit substances by the bathrooms or down by the trees in the lower section of the park. Its really frustrating to try and come spend some time with my children here at the park while there are bad influences around like that

Excellent, consistent grass for running with cleats! Beautifully spaced out. That hill is so useful in the winter time too.

I live very close to Clinton Park and I went to Atkinson Elementary school. The field there is so open and the playground has swings, see-saws and much more. Definitely recommend this park for a picnic!

This is a trusty park with a public restroom thats sometimes open and rarely clean. It has a decent hill so be sure to check it out next time we get a winter storm like this years. It offers pretty normal playground equipment but the highlight (as usual) is the swings. Worth going to if its convenient but not exactly some cool or important sightseeing opportunity, though you can see parts of downtown from the top of the hill.

My wife and I played tennis here with our friends recently and were impressed to see four open courts. The courts are a little rough but definitely playable. There is playground equipment just outside of the tennis area which was great for our friends daughter. The park looks quite large with plenty of options for activities.

We went here to do some walking so we could catch Pokemon and hit Pokestops, but for that purpose this park isnt great. This isnt a really good walking around park. That said, its a nice location and its quiet; its a great place to come sit down for a picnic or play some outside games and such.

Clinton Park is named after Clinton Street which abuts the park. Clinton Street is named for a popular pioneer minister, the Rev. Clinton Kelly. Kellys brother, the Rev. Albert Kelly, has a park in southwest Portland as his namesake (Albert Kelly Park).
