No bowls here but probably one of the best Skaterparks Ive ever been to, besides the one in Santa Cruz, CA. Half-pipes, lot of cool grind spots, really interesting, artistic funbox-type platforms, good stairs and railings; this park is it!
This is a nice and chill skatepark, but going there for the first time may be a little scary since you feel judged. I did feel a little judged I saw some looks while skating or trying to drop in. Mostly everyone is nice and positive but just know you will receive looks from people since I’m pretty young skating, everyone asked me if I was okay when I fell and it was pretty welcoming after a while when you get used to it. Have fun skating here!
Nice park for street features. Concrete needs some love.
So sick! This is not your normal skatepark set up to please scooter kids, bmx and inline. It feels like it was designed by skateboarders for skateboarders. It is set up to flow like an urban plaza that could only exist in a fairy tale city. You can link tricks across multiple obstacles and put together creative lines over stairs, rails, ledges and hubbas. If Camelot had a plaza in its city center, Ed Benedict Skatepark would be it.
I am a new Skater and at first you feel Judged and Overwhelmed but after you get used to it, it is a nice smooth area with nice ramps
The street part was cool with some fun ledges and hips. The pipe was covered in tree berrys kinda not skate able on the day I was there
Chill area with a good setup
Sick plaza-style park; good vibes!
Nice park. Clean and usually not to many people. Great place to skate at and even a good place to take your dog for a walk. They have two bathrooms and even a playground for the kids.the bathrooms are cleaned every morning so far only found a used needle there so double check area if you bring kids there. Beyond that decent park.
A fun spot. they are friendly
Top skatepark Ive been to in Oregon. Spread out nicely with a good variety of things to skate, but mostly street. They do have transition but it all has pool cooping
Very busy and overwhelming at first but for the most part it has decent ramps for beginners
Cool street skate park, small but lots of fun runs.
Skaters are respectful, if you are. ledges are a little high, but smooth grinds if you can sit on it. halfpipe is nice, and has pool coping. has 2 stair, 3 stair, and 5 stair. i loved it first timer, comfortable enough to stay hours.
This place has an amazing nba regulation basketball court. At least three days a week at nine am my best friends and I recruit people and go play basketball til about one pm. Its always a good run and the double rims make your shot improve. The court is also large enough to easily run five on five. Theres also a water fountain and shade right next to the court including park benches on either side. We usually bring a blue tooth speaker and play as hard as we can. Its super fun. Highly recommended.
Thought it was for Peewees because no bowls bt.the half pipe makes up for whatever the park could skateneeds.
Cement pool coping is great! Street course has a good flow...all around beautiful park!!!
This is a great park has lots to offer all
This park has a little bit of everything. The half pipe is a bit too cramped though. As a 45 yr old skater, the skaters there are pretty cool, not much drama. That is a bonus for anyone the is learning or just not that good(yet). Skate on!
The streetest of street parks in SE Portland
Awesome street plaza! Excellent benches and many pads with a good flow to get some good lines.
Great park, but the stairs are weird
Easy access and a good place to take a break and unwind
I enjoy going and watching my son boards and told me its a great run through and through
My son grew up over the years while learning to skateboard an perfect riding his bike. The older boys were such an still today a great teacher an role model for my son. He is impeccable on all wheels now
The only good thing about Portland.
Love it, been going here for years. Great vibe plus a great community. Come and enjoy
Its a good place to skate if you know how to do that sort of thing. Not the best skate park in the metropolitan area but it does the trick if youre interested in skateboarding. Not a good place to ride your bike though.
Kids enjoyed it.
Because its a safe place for children and young adults to be and not out on the streets getting into trouble or into gangs
Its a great beginner plaza yet there are loads of amazing skaters who are usually pretty damn friendly
Neat skate park in NE Portland. It is small, but has a fun layout. There is room to roll around, and of course you have your grind bars and dip/drop(?) spots. There is seating all around, however no covered seating directly in the skate park area. All different age groups come to skate, scoot, roller blade. It is a good place for kids and families to come for the most part. There is walking paths around the park, and a large open field. The open field sometimes has soccer games, for schools or local groups, etc.
One of my childhood parks ! It’s very good community and fun place to bring your kids to play !
Go early morning
Rad plaza style skatepark with a great variety of ledges and manual pads to hit. If you are looking for hangtime then seek elseware. Almost any other park in Portland is better off for that. They do have a half pipe thing but it is more of a tube with no real flatbottom. Great park in the back for the rest of the family to chill and do activitys that familys do.
Sweet suburban skate park. Im an adult who didnt really skate when I was a kid, but my younger son is into it. Ive brought him and a couple of his friends here a number of times and Im always impressed at the multigenerational support and comeraderie. An old guy shows up in a suit and tie, driving his Lexus, changes at his trunk into board shorts. Proceeds to rip a series of huge runs dropping in from top of wall at one end and launching himself out the other end doing tons of crazy tricks I cant really describe. Hangs out long enough to give tips to the high school kids and the younger set. The features are neat, but its the people who go here make it rad.
Nice park, we took good pics there
It is nice to see you with my nephew that and have him one place instead of all over the place
Great park good job with maintenance looks wonderful
Fun place for kids and adults, includes park, skate area water fountain and restrooms that are not locked
Go here to play Pokemon all the time theres 2 gyms and a few pokestops (like 6+) and always hella Pokemon. Its a nice park. Its got a paved walkway that goes all the way thru the park from one end to the other. A play structure. And lots of grass. Theres a big parking lot too. And public restrooms. I think theres a field to play soccer too. Plus of course the skate ramps and bowls.
Clean smooth no haters Ive seen anyway. No clown bikes or scooters lol
Great, large, wide open park. Lots of space. Basketball court, playground, skate park, big fields. Dont bring a drone tho. A security guard shook a dude down who was flying one. I dunno, maybe he was checking out tatas with the camera or something
Best steer style skate park in Portland.
Nice, small, quiet park. Great place to relax or let the kids play. They have an area with swings and a slide.
Great for all to learn skating and Bicycle tricks. It is also in a drug trafficking area of town.
My kids love it until the older crowd becomes pushy
Includes lots of reasonable height ledges and small stairs so you dont have to be a mega park star to skate something here. Most approachable park Ive been to around here
Probably the best park for street skating in all of portland. Could use some lights for night skating or something to keep it under cover. Other than that. I love it
I havent skated in years. Nice park.
Good skate park with lots of interesting street style features, unfortunately the location is kinda bland and it gets really really busy on any day after 4.
Love the two playground options. We take our 2.5 y/o here and she can safely swing on one with a safety bar and older kids arent bullying around at the smaller playground.
Depends on the time of day that you can go especially when you have young kids
My kids love skating here.
Very mutch top of the line scatepark!
Nice park, lots of space. Never too crowded, drinking fountains! Some stair sets, ledges, quarter pipes, good park.
Good simple spot
Very limited parking. Be sure to take your own toilet paper if planning to use the restroom
Great scene, welcoming newbies and OGs alike. Friendly, and chill. Skaters, scooters, and derby girls, all kickin tricks together.
Good vibez
Great street skatepark. However, its missing a rail on flatground for practicing new tricks.
Nice but not that many obstacles
Well designed challenging park
Best skate park in the area, theres always something going on at this park, its always really busy, etc. Also has a great playground for the kids! And a bunch of pokestops for Pokemon go! What else do you need?
Nice place to do Spore soccer field is great
Grew up skating at this park, friendly people, you get to know each other and it makes skateboarding so much more social
Great skatepark with many new things to do
Fun street shizz
Beautiful weather everybody shredding like spaghetti and nobody was being a dick
Nice space for flatground tricks and has plenty of ramps as well
Great place to skate.
This park has good flow the ppl here are reserved everyone is doing their own thing and pretty girls walk by occasionally. So its a great sk8park!
It is a sweet park it is very unique but one thing there are a lot of crack heads so be careful of that
Great learning skate park for anyone willing board up..Fun..
I have seen younger kids doing things that is not ok like drug and bullied others not ok
Ok playground, only 2 swings though. Skatepark is pretty cool for grinding & Ollie truck stuff... I prefer more vert. Personally. Easily accessible, but lots & lots of traffic noise...
Took my daughter to the Burnside Skate park, but that was a little too intimidating. This place is low-key enough for beginners, but has plenty of stuff to keep more advanced skaters entertained.
My favorite skatepark. Great flow for all levels of experience.
Great family place to bring your kids.
Nice big park 2 playgrounds large skatepark with rails to grind a half pipe to ride and many small rises and jumps.built right next to the 911 response center which seems to detur crime in the park.
Great skatepark
Love the memory garden my childhood house use to be in the exact spot and some of the trees are still there
Hella sick. Ledges are perfect. Ramps are smooth, overall, good flow.
I went over the gap and messed up my face a lot and broke my too so yea but its fun otherwise
One of the best skatepark Ive ever been too.
This is a great just to vist
Never went there.
Its the shizz
Plenty of space to roam. Play equipment for all ages.
Nice skatepark with a good field.
Sweet skate spot!
I love how late the park is open
Has nice walking path and clean restrooms
Nice park
The skatepark was actually designed by skateboarders, believe it or not.
